Update, Scept finally solved my problem with Glaceon (just as I realised what it was, curses :P) I'm also working on an Arcanine, so expect that up relatively soon. |

I do believe thebattleax is working on a new Latias. I guess I might start working on my own sprites soon, but not until QC is under a comfortable level. -.>

I went ahead and used the pose on the left. I think it turned out quite good, definitely better than the first one. Tell me what you think.
I'm pretty happy with it, but if it doesn't turn out to be satisfactory I can always go and do the pose on the right. |

It's not chibi anymore, that's for sure. XD I think with this "imposing" view the shading is going to have to be a little different, since right now it just looks like the head is a bit small. :D

As in more shading; with the shade as the predominant color and a highlight near the edges, it creates the effect that it's "blocking" out the light source. Also, more shading on the legs compared to a lighter head area (meaning it's closer to the light) will also help the distortion a little. I think. Or maybe that's just how I shade. >_>

Looks a bit better, but I'm all out of ideas. Try having a bit of light color on the tail and the eye looking at the target. ?_?

The "shine" in poliwag's eye's seems a little... off. Mabey put it closer to the top right.
Also, the iris of poliwag's eyes are inconsistant. the one on our right has it in the bottom right corner of it's eye, while the one on our left is in the center. It would look better if it was consistant. |

Actually, it looks a little big. Not counting the antennae it stands at 2'04", but that's even as it's hunching over. I think it needs to get a bit smaller.

I've grudgingly decided to just go ahead and let the slight height-offenders pass, since it's unlikely anyone will want to work to fix them (and if it's really terrible, someone will do it eventually...right?)
