Cyrus is my favorite NPC. He's a nihilistic man with a god-complex and some huge dependency issues. There has never been a person so internally conflicted as he in the Pokemon franchise.

In GSC, the Abra guy in Indigo Plateau. He helped me a lot in old times. When I played one of the remakes, the FIRST thing I did when I reached the Pokémon League was search that guy.

Blue. He is just awesome. I know he's so arrogant, but he has a charisma that make me say he's my favorite NPC of RBY and probably also my favorite of the three initial generations.

Surprised no one mentioned the first trainer in Pewter city gym.

"You're light years away from facing Brock!". and afterwards, "Light years is a measure of distance! Not time!"

To this day I always misuse light years for distance.

Also, for RBY does anyone else always name themselves Ash and the rival Gary to be like the Anime?

I know it's from GSC, but I'm surprised nobody has said Jasmine! She was so sweet, I always loved her... not only was she really pretty but she tried so hard to help that Ampharos. Sooo cute.

RBY - Red or Blaine. Blaine always seemed really enigmatic to me... and having a set of quiz questions was really unique (as well as having a bald head, sunglasses, a sock mustache and a trenchcoat).
