The thing is, for Swiss, they will play rounds depending on how many people are there. So I doubt they will let more than 16 people in. They can run tournaments of any size really, especially in swiss.

idk who is reping the ducks tomorrow but i just want to wish everyone good luck and i look forward to meeting the smogonites going, i know i will have a blast win or not. by the way speaking of fun whiles i am down there for the whole day any1 know a good movie theater by the concention hall? i am thinking of seeing shrek or iron man, just cause i came down for the vgc doesnt mean the fun has to end there.
PS-i will be a big[fat not tall] black dude with glasses that have a rubberban wraped around the right corner. thats the best i can give, i will probably be wearing black jeans with a white shirt/black vest comba

1. How long does a typical tournament last?? 2-3 hours or all day??!

2. How does a minor bring proof of age?? (besides a birth certificate..).. a school ID??!

3. If I can't get access to a printer are registration sheets avail. there??!

4. Is an hour early enough to line up?? Are there really going to be that many people.....

I'm such a procrastinator.....

You obviously didnt look hard enough because most of these are answered in the simple questions simple answers thread.

1. all day if you wanna stay and watch juniors and seniors.

2. A state ID, or birth certificate. I think thats about it.

3. Don't know, but I would imagine so.

4. Not sure about the attendance in Pheonix but an hour early would have gotten you into all the other events so I wouldn't see why not.

1. No idea with that cause this year is my first (UK)
2. I have no idea other than bring a parent. I work in a store that sells age restricted products and birth certificate has no photo of you therefore is invaled cause it could be anyone. School ID could be frauduliged and we dont except it in a store. Even if it has a photo of yourself and date of birth. So for a minor I guess a parent or PASSPORT. In the UK we accept in shops, driving licence, PASS hologramed cards, passports.

Smogon is not having a good showing in Phoenix today.

Fish lost in round 3. I also lost in round 3. Omega Donut lost in round 4. No ducks in the finalist lounge.

All our hope lies on Bad Intent. He's the only one moving on so far.

EDIT: ninahaza also in the finalist lounge.

EDIT 2: ipl made it into the lounge too.
