Ahhh, I am very excited to see how Groudon/Steelix/Flareon turns out. Groudon seems like it will be the epitome of badass, Steelix is a little lost in the shuffle right now but Flareon looks positively regal and cute. aaaa <3

also I really like Blaziken's expression, you're very good at capturing a specific mood/emotion with your art. :)

you've been bold enough to make such a taxing request as it is, it's very rude to assume that an artist is just going to drop something because it hasn't appeared as soon as you'd like

orugos i am still digging this thread so damn much

you should look into contributing to the smog in future issues, i know the rest of the team would love to see your artwork in there!

blown away by the final of dusknoir, and i couldn't help but laugh when i read about your process - for the most part i do the same thing, and i can't get anywhere near this

thankyou again for taking the time to walk us all through, i'm sure everybody can pick up something from it!

@ tangyrowth: there's a queue list in first post so I just tack them onto the end, so yes and no :d now that I'm mostly done with convention stuff I'll be picking back up on it but it'll still probably be a couple months until I get to it through the others @__@

Consider slightly more contrast between the colours - the transitions between the shades in your drawings are no doubt clean and smooth but increasing the contrast could add more of a stylistic feature that you might not be able to obtain with just the line art.

I can't wait for the Typhlosion (seems that it's next on the cue if I'm correct!).

alchemators writing is so dreamy i would go as far as to compare it to that of a young David Foster Wallace.

alch: I don't normally do art with lines, I usually only do it when I'm looking to complete something quickly.... or draw pokemon; most of what I do is like that dusknoir, but it's very time consuming. But I find when I draw with lines that I tend to simplify colors/contrast, now that you point it out. Maybe I can find a way that I like greater variety, as I don't like the harsh transitions in cel shading.
I'm happy to have some time to work on these again.

I haven't been able to do any pokes lately with AFO this weekend and a couple paid commissions to do, butttttttt here's some fast non pokemon art I did this morning for AFO c:

I might be making that jumpluff/shaymin image into stickers if I can get away with it, and maybe shinx too; Im running out of time as the convention is this week and I dont think I have enough time to make stickers and have them printed and shipped to me. But I'll send jumpluff and shinxe one if I do :>
