Battle at Mount Mibbit (Warstory)

I was on IRC chillin' like a villain and kd24 pm'd me for an uber battle. Being the king of ubers and all, I was much too busy to get on the Pokemon Lab just to battle a lowly peasant such as kinglerdude. I suggested that we do the battle right here, right now. On IRC. "But the Pokemon Lab is the most solid Generation 4 simulator on the internet!" he replied. "All battles must be done on the Pokemon Lab!". I told him it was my way or no way. He thought it over and eventually accepted my challenge. I certainly underestimated his power. We had a fierce battle, and now that the dust has cleared it's time for me to tell the tale to the citizens of Smogon!

The PM tab on Mibbit is flashing dark blue. At this point I am annoyed at how hard it is to tell when somebody is sending you a PM on mibbit and begin to wish that the mIRC nigger would stop forcing me to pay so I could use it again.

Very epic battle, one of the closest I've ever had. It's a shame we didn't play on the Pokemon Lab, but still a very good battle!

I am loving the format. Good game too. Definitely fun to read. My only nitpick is that sprites are nice, and there is a bit of the wall of text syndrome about this warstory.

Well, in all seriousness, we COULD use IRC to run battles. We'd just need a mediator with an RNG-generating bot or something. People sometimes play chess by just speaking moves to each other, and sometimes people play chess through e-mail. So technically I don't see why we can't IRC a Pokémon battle.

My only nitpick is that sprites are nice, and there is a bit of the wall of text syndrome about this warstory. __________________ I mentioned that I wasn't going to be on much because the new house has no interwebz, but it now turns out it could be any time until the 4th of April, which means (weirdly) that I'll mostly be available whenever I'm at university - not so much during the weekends and nights. But I'll see what I can do. EDIT: Fucking Hard Drive broke. IRC doesn't look like it's going to happen for a while.

We'd just need a mediator with an RNG-generating bot or something. People sometimes play chess by just speaking moves to each other, and sometimes people play chess through e-mail.
