Resourcefulness: Pillow Sprites
 Banner by Johann, thanks! Hey guys, this is a very fun and easy project that some of us from the Spriting Thread schemed. The objective is to redo every Pokemon's sprite with a pillowed version.
A guide to pillowing, for those who don't know (not mine, but I don't know whose)
It's really very simple to do, but it just takes a little bit of practice to get used to the technique. Right now we have three albums of Pillow Sprites, one with all of the current contributions which is maintained by Server_Crash (here), all of my contributions (here), and Its_A_Random's sprites (here). READ THIS: You may reserve up to three evolution lines at a time, and you may reserve them for a week maximum. If they aren't done by then anyone is allowed to make that sprite.
List of all the individual sprites. If one is labeled as "???" then I don't know who made it and would appreciate being told.
Showcase of each contributor's favorite contribution: (Note: To get one of your sprites up here, simply PM me or post in this thread with a link to your sprite. QC points: -Refrain from making backsprites or shiny sprites right now. After all the regular sprites are done then you can work on those. -One sprite per canvas. -Finished sprites must be transparent, iaza is a good way to do this. -If you want to do a female sprite of an already-done male sprite, just copy the male sprite and make the outline changes to fit the female's. -It is preferred that you use Black/White sprites, but this is not enforced yet. Yeah, I had a better tutorial, but I couldn't find it again, and this one is a bit more straightforward.
Dex order and credit are coming soon, my computer just got fixed, so I have some catching up to do in a lot of fields. Unfortunate that the spriting thread might start to die again. pity.

Well to begin the thread with some pillows, I tried to do Lapras. The colour scheme doesn't really work out that well and it is my first pillow, but:
 Any tips for future pillows are welcome.

I mentioned that I wasn't going to be on much because the new house has no interwebz, but it now turns out it could be any time until the 4th of April, which means (weirdly) that I'll mostly be available whenever I'm at university - not so much during the weekends and nights. But I'll see what I can do. EDIT: Fucking Hard Drive broke. IRC doesn't look like it's going to happen for a while. |

It's nice for a pillowed sprite. Some sprites look terrible pillowed. I had to mess with the pikachu for an hour to make it look right (yes, I know that's cheating), but I'll add it to the list.

I had to cheat a lot for Meloetta. D: Here she is though--
 It isn't exactly pillowed anymore. Working on Step-form right now. Also, what do you mean the rest of the lines? Edit: I DID THIS REALLY QUICKLY Step Meloetta.  I cheated on her too but not as much.

 Bed time! I shall do Denchura sometime this weekend.^_^ Final edit before bed: ahhh, its so nice to have pillowed bachuru staring back at me on my iPod.

Well after I didn't get permabanned for Lapras, I did Rhyperior:
 It looks a bit better. I'll probably do Rhydon and Rhyhorn as well.

That Banette looks awesome. I suppose I'm more partial than most people to Banette than most people (I had a level 55 one in Emerald <3) but I still think it looks good. Also, I JUST realized it's a Friday, so I have about two more hours. Woohoo :B I've been away for a bit though so Ekans isn't done. Will edit this in a few though.
EDIT: Just noticed my Victini is in the banner, thank you so much :D And here's an Ekans.

That Rhyhorn is awesome, but the Rhydon seems a bit too bright. Could you try starting out one shade darker? It'd look less flat, and a bit less sloppy imo. Not that it is sloppy. :B

I don't know. Rhydon is actually brighter. And while I'm uploading threes, in the last of my pillowing for today, here is Dragonite and friends:
   They didn't really take to pillowing, but oh well. And you actually connot imagine how many different shades of the colour blue are in the Platinum Dragonair sprite.

Just go to iaza.com, load the image, click transparent and then click the white.

Thanks to all of you guys for making all of these on the first official day. Jeez, Kipp, I was going to do ekans, but yours is going up since you got it done first. I have a lot of work to put all of these sprites up now.
