Balance two teams against each other

Hi. I'm trying to build a little cup team for my friend and I for casual battling. I worry that one team will overpower the other.

Here's where I was going for her team. The pokemon were chosen by her and can't be changed.

Charmander

How do they look compared to each other? The mons on the second team can be changed around but only to pokemon that I personally like. These teams are just to use our favorite mons, not super competitive play. I'm worried about aipom and hoppip and that I have too many resists for her two fire types.
