I'd like to reserve the beast of an analysis that Clefable is. Lately I've been playing around with it in this meta and it really does quite well! Of course I'll have help from everyone else too...

Clefable is on the doesn't deserve an OU analysis list. Either go here and prove why it should deserve an analysis or forget about it.

Dageki isn't on the list of reservable pokemons. Post in the other thread explaining why you think it deserves an OU analysis.

Oh, I guess I should post here, I believe that Colonel_M has given up Roobushin.

A thorough skeleton has already been QC approved, so all you will need to do is write the analysis. If you want to take it over, post here.

Okay, update time.

Right, I've updated the OP to include the English names for Gen V Pokemon, as I believe Smogon is now adopting them for use. I'm sceptical about their legality, even now, but it saves me from having to update this later (and I can always change them back if necessary). If you could all change the names of the Pokemon in your analyses to correspond with the ones on this list, then that would be great.

In addition, I have it on good authority that the Black/White section of the site is nearly completed, and I need scarcely remind you that when it is finally complete, all the analyses can be uploaded onto the site. Which is great. But all analyses need to be written up and checked before they can be uploaded, so I should ask you all to put in as much work as possible to get these done. Before anyone asks, no, I don't know how this will affect the Grammar-Prose team. Hopefully they will be operating here soon. This also means that all new items, new abilities, new moves, etc. will also need write-ups. Stay tuned.

EDIT: Also I don't want to double-post, but I'll just say here that Jirachi is available for reservation due to the disappearance of the previous thread.

bmb, would it be possible to have the old names of the 5th generation Pokemon in parentheses next to the "English" names? That way people who haven't adjusted to them (like me) can still search them up with the Romanized names.

Seconding this. I've made it for Goruugu but I don't wanna have to open every analysis to find out which is the one I want.

Since apparently the English names are confirmed, does this mean I have to go through my analyses and change the names to the English ones? I mean, it's obviously not a problem as I have find + replace, I'm just wondering. Plus, I'm a little reluctant to replace Mebukijika with Sawsbuck.

I don't think you absolutely need to do it right away. Obviously the romanised names will need to be replaced at some point, but I'm only using the new English names in the Index for organisational purposes.

To be honest, it's probably easier to keep the romanised names until the last minute, and then do a quick find+replace, since then everybody knows what you're talking about. It only takes a few seconds to change the names anyway, so until you see another announcement about it, you shouldn't worry. You can change the names if you want, but it's entirely up to you.

It's been brought to my attention (thank you, zdrup15) that Dusknoir seems to need a new owner. The OP of that thread states that it is on offer to anybody with more competitive battling experience.
EDIT: sax king's Emboar also needs taking over.
EDIT2: AAAND Shaymin as well.

If anybody wants to take it on, please post here.
