Perfect so when I walk to the grass to go and catch him his IVs will not have changed because its like talking to the roamer or encountering a wild pokemon right?

IVs\nature are set by the time he flies away.

About the Missing No 0...
When plugged into Breeding BW, BW Internatioal, or Method 5 PIDRNG the seed with or without the 0 gives you the same result.

Oh, I see. Standard seed only uses the first half, so if you plug in:
FBC52543C5D91C2 you get results for seed FBC52543 (incorrect seed)

but if you plug in:
0FBC52543C5D91C2 you get results for seed FBC5254 (correct seed)

All other results will be the same, though. I'll see what I can do.

Alright, I gave up on entralink abuse for now. I'm trying to calibrate for standard abuse, but whatever seed I seem to hit does not show up. I'm using the IV Check code to check IVs (saved in front of Kyurem, so I just press A and toss a Master Ball), my MAC address and date/time are the only boxes I've changed. I'm assuming I have to fill in VCount with whatever the seed tells me, only no results come up and I've tried several times (both RNG Reporter and PPRNG).

EDIT: There seem to be conflicting opinions about flashcarts and AR codes (particularly the former). I have deactivated all AR codes, but I am stuck on my Acekard 2i unfortunately. For calibration, what should I change the parameter range to? Also, will flashcarts or AR codes affect C-Gear seeds at all?

You're using an Action Replay. If you start the game with the AR inserted, it messes up your seed.

An unusual question but how does using a seed from Gift Pokemon option within Time finder in works on/affects the inheritance formula on daycare eggs? Does it completely overrides how that system works and insert the desired IVs said seed has given you?

Oh, I thought you were using an Action Replay on a real cart. If that's the case it doesn't really matter if you have codes enabled on an Acekard. If it works for your Acekard it'll work even if you have codes enabled, if not it doesn't matter if you don't.

p.s. try way wider than C00-CFF.

Trying to RNG Tornadus and am in a bit of a fix, keep getting the IV's right but the nature wrong. How can I know what the RNG shift will be as I can get tornadus to roar before the weather starts. It shifted by 2 with no saving, but I saved more than 3 times and got serious nature the next time I tried which is on frame 101 after 51. This is odd since the starting frame for this seed is 48. This is the seed I'm using is EE8084653B855955 and my target is a timid tornadus. The IV frame is 4 and I do so by walking 128 steps in the house. I always get this right, but miss the nature.

The stats are set when it flies away, not when it roars. You won't be starting anywhere near the seed's initial frame. The rain advances it inconsistently between advances, and there's currently no way to predict it.

No. You can't override inheritance. Generate your list of PID frames and you'll see what stats are inherited from the parents for each PID frame.

I really hate RNGing countless months/years to find a seed. And then when I do find the perfect seed.. wrong encounter slot. Is there a better way to get the amazing flawless seed you want? or is it really just a.. keep searching till you find it.. type of deal. [and is this why people just breed flawless shinies]

By breeding flawless or half-flawless parents you have so much more odds of getting what you want since the babies inherit three stats. If you're going for flawless shinies do it that way :P There's a guide for that here too ^^

yeah i was reading up on it a little bit.. so even with the rng.. its not guaranteed that you'll get the exact iv spread as the parents and be shiny? even when you get the seed, etc?

Well actually you can define nature, ability, gender, IV spread, shinieness anyway you want with that method. Say you want a 31/30/30/31/31/31 poke. You've got parents with an x/x/x/31/31/31 spread. This means that RNG Reporter only has to look for seeds with 31/30/30/x/x/x (which are quite a lot ^^) and of those check which one has the inheritance of x/x/x/31/31/31. It increases your chances a lot on getting exactly what you want. You just have to hit your seed and the PID frame right (PID also determines inheritance besides gender, nature etc.).

um am i doing something wrong in eontimer because i put my time and delay in it but when i start it the second timer only gives me 11 seconds to get to the game and turn on c gear so do i have to do something else? Im C-gear RNGing

Is your delay lower than 1600? With C-gear you should have a delay higher than that. If the delay IS higher please give details as to the seconds and delay and I'll let you know what you could be doing wrong. =)
