If you're hitting close don't update and see if you keep hitting close. Eventually you'll hit your seed. Looks like you hit pretty close with -49 so you should just keep using that and see what happens. You should try several times before updating. Sometimes you'll hit too high or too low with the same calibration which is why updating after every one try isn't such a good idea. This happens to me all the time in this game.

Few questions about cgear rng and zomgtimer

when you enter the seed into generate more times, it gives you a list of times and dates. How do you which secod is the right one? In ther words, if you have a delay of 1935 how do you know how many seconds it will take you?

Also, at the end of the first timer (zomg) what are you supposed to be doing? And at the second?

You choose whichever second you want. I've always used 50 so I insert that in the little box at the top and it automatically brings up all the times and dates that have 50 seconds.

The end of the first timer is exactly the same as Gen 4 (soft reset or press A to load game from DS menu).

At the end of the second timer you have to click "yes" in-game to turn on the C-Gear on that screen that gives you the warning. So you click on continue, click no when it says "launch c-gear communications," click "yes" when it says some functions of the c-gear will be restricted. Now it'll say the season and you'll be in game. You click on the power-on button of the C-Gear and press yes when the second timer reaches 0.

can c gear seeds use a seed with a frame of 5? i cant seem to find any target spreads i want for frame 3. im RNGing on my dsi.

Are you in a quiet zone? If so, walking 128 steps with 2 pokemon in your party will advance you by two frames.

Sorry that was a brainfart on my behalf. I was hoping to edit my post before you saw it.

When I did my Zekrom the first time I needed frame 7 so I had 4 pokemon in my party, did laps of the throne room for 128 steps then encountered him. You want frame 5 so do the same thing but with only 2 pokemon in your party.

Why is the first timer set to a time other than one minute. Won't that cause you to, for example, SR at 11:23:49 if your target time is 11:24:50

is there any way to control what pokemon that will appear because ditto only has a 15% chance to appear and i haven't seen it at all even after 9 times trying (granted i haven't hit my seed either)

Agreeing here. Just set it to -50 (which seems to be your average here) the rest just seems to be your own variance. You'll get there though.

It takes 32:25 for 1935 delays to elapse, if that's what you're asking. Any second will work though. You don't need a specific one. I incorporated a better version of "suggested second" into EonTimer. This gives you the second that'll get you the lowest overall time given how fast you can start the game (right-click for anyone interested).

And to the last question you posted, I'm not sure what you mean...

Hey guys. Right now, I'm planning to start calibrating for the first time.
For now, I have to use Cobalion, a syncher, and a spare Master Ball I have.

How will I calibrate? I tried reading on the first page, but it seemed to be a bit confusing.
Do I also have to mash the buttons quickly, like in 4th Gen, until I'll "talk" to Cobalion?
And do I have to use the Seed Finder in the RNG Reporter 9 Beta 1?

No button mashing. Just use the default settings to aim for a seed you pick. Use the IV search to find out what delay you hit. Update the timer with that delay. Congrats, you're calibrated.
