It's finally here. The long awaited, 2:17 monstrosity of a Smogcast is ready for listening! Host Chris is me and panelists Seven Deadly Sins, Deck Knight, Lee, and Rising Dusk, it's our most packed Smogcast yet, going over some of the major changes to Pokemon so that you're all set to start playing this new generation of competitive battling. A selection of 10 new Pokemon are talked about in detail, as well as a nice overview of the new items, game mechanics, and the Dream World. Listen!

Fuck I have absolutely no bandwidth left this month so I won't be able to listen to this for another four days. Come to think of it I actually don't know how much bandwidth it takes to listen to the direct link, anybody got any idea?

I think the dynamic between the entire cast in this show was one of the best. It's been a month since B/W was officially released, and even less than on a simulator but all of the predictions about said Pokemon are absolutely right!

This is a must listen if not for all the jokes they were churning out.

And listening to Seven's voice of course. :P

Possibly the best Smogcast to date. It was interesting the hear your take on the various changes brought by gen 5.
The jokes were pretty funny too.

Honestly, if you are completely in the dark about gen 5, I highly recommend that you listen this Smogcast.

It's far, far too long for that, a transcript would be more than 10 hours of work. It's not like the content we talk about isn't present on the forums if you look hard enough...

Seriously just listen to it while you're battling or whatever and it's a lot easier to digest, or listen in parts.

In addition, I'd say that a lot of the value gets lost in translation, since it's tough to capture banter in transcript form. There's a reason the Smogcast is audio-based, and you should try just putting it on while doing something else in the background.
