The Smogcast is back, and this time we're tackling the OU Metagame after its first round of Suspect bans! Join our hosts, Chris is me and Seven Deadly Sins, as well as panelists Elevator Music and JabbaTheGriffin, for this fun-packed episode of The Smogcast. Tackling everything from the top threats to best strategies, this Smogcast is sure to provide the information you need to stay competitive in the 5th Generation!

Never really used Sazandora or Manaphy anyways. But that Smogcast was hilarious.

I so did not know that the Pokemon Online server, had Latios at UU o.o

Great job, I think that it definitely should be uncensored fin the future. Or at least make Jabba add in the beeps after the fact.

i agree with how dangerous calm mind manaphies are, i use one for myself and find it funny how unboosted physical attackers usually have no chance if no electric move, and even with a electric move usually wouldnt kill me, even nattorei can be stalled out of power whips if they get no crits,(even though slight chance if at full hp and they crit), then special attackers get owned to if you get past a +1 boost and its not super effective, even magenzone can get stalled out with a combo of calm mind+rest if min-max damage is on your side

I feel entirely vindicated in my predictions:

1. locopoke is n00b.

2. Sazandora was way overhyped.

Poor Forry. Looking back it really got slaughtered. Sturdy is not enough I don't even think Custap release is going to help.

By far the BEST smogcast yet. The coverage was fantastic, it was funny and it was decently long too. Jabba was fucking hilarious and Elevator_Music was great too.

Im listening to the hype around Dory, and im surprised nobody mentioned scarf, or hell even timid since most Dorys arent max speed, Golduck, who can even take a non boosted EQ without any hp/defense investment and wreck shit with a surf.

Not to mention, balloon Magnezone can easily check it, coming in and trapping it, magnet rising on the rock slide/etc. and hp firing it to death.

I love the fact that you guys realised just how anti-metagame Azumarill is.

Bulky water, who can deal massive damage with Superpower. OHKO's Landos and Dory. OHKO's Nattorei and Tyranitar. That's basically destroying the entire metagame...

But, yeah, Pringles is a pain to Azumarill, but you can't kill everything...

Oh, and imagine using Azumarill on a rain team. Rain boosted Huge Power CB STAB Aqua Jet. That basically kills everything not resistant that isn't a wall.

Although more people tend to set up Stealth rock once they know there isn't a Espeon on the team lol.
