Some Rules:
• All matches will be played over wi-fi.
• You MAY NOT join this tournament if you are on the wifi blacklist.
• Make sure you have the right cartridge for your metagame! (i.e. VGC '11 is a black/white metagame and DPPT will not be accepted.)
• Each team will have 3 participants.
• One member per team will play VGC '09, VGC '10, and VGC '11, respectively.
• These are doubles 4v4 matches that will be played at level 50.
• Matches will be best of two out of three.
• You may join either as a complete team or sign up individually. Full teams will be taken first, and the remaining players will be placed on teams by metagame preference. Both registration forms are listed at the bottom of the post.
• YOU MAY SWITCH YOUR TEAM BETWEEN MATCHES

• Each player may have 6 Pokemon, but may only bring 4 at a time into the WiFi room
• Players are allowed to use up to 6 Pokemon and up to 6 items in one set. Meaning, You may use 4 Pokemon in match 1 and then you may switch in 2 subs for the following matches.
• Item clause - no two Pokemon may carry the same item
• Moves and Pokemon obtained over level 50 may NOT be used. (NO TYRANITAR, DRAGONITE)

• A player’s team may not contain two of the same Pokémon.
Each Pokémon in a player’s party may use held items, though no two Pokémon in the party may hold the same item. Items allowed include held items from Pokémon™ Platinum Version and earlier video games, including Berries 1–64. The Soul Dew item may not be used.

• Pokémon Restrictions:
The following Pokémon are ineligible for use in the tournament:

• Doubles Clause: All matches with be held with Doubles format, with two Pokemon out on each side at a time.
• VGC Team Registration Clause: You must use the same six Pokemon and same six items throughout the entire tournament. Pokemon's natures, stats, and moves must remain the same throughout, however, items can be switched among the six Pokemon.
• Fresh Start Clause: Only Pokemon from the Isshu Pokedex can be used. This begins at #494 in the National Pokedex
• Item Clause: No 2 Pokemon on the same team can carry the same item when entering battle. It is fine if an item held by another Pokemon is Tricked onto a Pokemon.
• Level 50 Cap: All Pokemon will be leveled down to level 50 if they are above, but Pokemon are allowed to be lower than level 50.
Species Clause: No two Pokemon can be the same, such as having 2 Zoroark's on a team.
• Dream World Clause: Only released Dream World Pokemon may be used.
• Uber Clause: Zekrom, Reshiram, and Kyurem may not be brought into battle.
• Event Clause: Victini, Melodia, Kerudo, and Genosect may not be brought into battle.
