Introduction
Hi Smogon, this is my first ever RMT in the forums and my first competent team this generation (it's so goddamn hard to make a decent team without weather abusers), i still haven't played much this gen because of the university, girlfriend, have been writing things, and bla bla bla. So i wanted to make my first GOOD team to start playing again so i came up with this :^I Team Theme and Preview Well i just wanted to use my favorite 5th gen mon (competitive wise, because mah actual fav is Galvantula wich is good but not enough), and that's Virizion, so take a look at the crew ;I. Team Jobs Roxie the Mew @ Leftovers Trait: Synchronize EVs: 252 HP / 220 DEF / 4 SAtk / 32 Spd Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Will-o-wisp - Psychic - Magic Coat / Taunt - Softboiled My beloved Roxie, she is my "lead", i still think that leads exist this gen, maybe not like last gen but you can still use the same lead in most battles without problems. Her job is to scout a bit with her moves, burn physical attackers, break stall, and serve as death fodder later, sorry Roxie, but you're so damn good at your job <333 Evs and stuff: Bold Nature to take hits, will-o-wisp is especially for Tyranitar, Scizor, Ferrothorn and some Gliscor without Poison heal of i can catch them on the switch. I prefer to run Magic Coat instead of Taunt because it allows me to reflect hazards, status, and priority taunts by Prankster users, Psychic for stab and is not that bad of an attack it 2HKOes Conkeldurrs who think that i'm going to switch. A pretty good set that does almost anything and more that my last set does.
...
Rampage the Deoxys-S @ Life Orb Trait: Pressure EVs: 12 Atk / 244 SAtk / 252 Spd Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef) - Thunderbolt - Superpower - Psycho Boost - Ice Beam Good Damn Deoxys-s, i made this set two months ago after watching a Deoxys-A, but i just wanted to try this form in order to outspeed Salamence, Gyarados, Haxorus after a DD and Garchomp, Landorus and Hydreigon with scarf. Evs and Stuff: The evs are simple, 12 attack does 100 % min to 252/0 tyranitar, the speed is to outspeed most scarfers and dragon dancers, and the rest into spA. The attacks are obvious too, BoltBeam for general coverage and revenge killing purpouses, Superpower to OHKO Tyranitar, Blissey, do a lot to Ferrothorn and anything that doesn't resist it, Pyscho Boost is for Conkeldurr and fighting friends, especially Virizion, i can't OHKO it at +1, but it still does a shit ton of damage. Rabanito the Quagsire (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Unaware EVs: 252 HP / 176 Def / 80 SDef Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Scald - Rest / Recover - Sleep Talk / Toxic - Stockpile This...thing...is....FUCKING AWESOME!, good lord Cthulhu i thank you for this awesome defensive wall. So that's it, i needed a counter to most physical attackers and talking with some friends they tell me how good and underrated Unaware Quagsire was, i didn't believe it but i wanted to try it so here it is, i was wrong, VERY wrong, this thing is so goddamn bulky that even LO Excadrill can't 2HKO it Earthquake. Good thing that it was released from DW too . _. Evs and Stuff: First the name, when i was playing for first time my Soul Silver version i catched a Wooper and my girlfriend say "oh that thing is so cute!" i replied "yeah, wanna name it?" and she name it "Rabanito" so...yeah, spanish is my first language and rabanito is a kind of food with...fish, i don't know. EVs are tipical, all into hp, a lot into def and the rest into spD, i don't wanted to run the 252/252/4 variant also, the attacks first it have ice beam but i noticed that my team already have 3 ice attacks and that Rabanito was very toxic weak, so wynaut?. Stockpile rounds the set with the new mechanics (unaware doesn't ignore my boost so i'm almost unkilleable at +3. I decided to run Rest + Sleep Talk instead of Recover because it let me beat stall teams easier, i was facing problems with toxic spikes so i decided to run this, it worked perfectly and i'm very happy with it, not gonna change it, but still, the other options are viable especially if Mew runs Taunt Luji the Virizion @ Leftovers Trait: Justified EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Calm Mind - Giga Drain - Hidden Power [Ice] - Focus Blast I love this thing, is like the Superachi of gen 5, she destroy teams even when she only have 90 spA base, i don't want to see what Keldeo can do with his 129 base. The first time that i saw this set was watching a battle from BadRomance, just that his Virizion have hp rock to troll dittos in the DW. Evs and stuff: All into spA, enough speed to outspeed Garchomps, and the rest into hp to survive a little more. the attacks and the nature are the classic ones, leftovers for longevity. Apocalypse the Tyranitar (M) @ Expert Belt Trait: Sand Stream EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SDef Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd) - Crunch / Stone Edge - Pursuit - Stealth Rock - Fire Blast I first have an Agility Lucario here but then i notice that i was weak as fuck to Sunny Days, and needed something to take trick, so i thought in Hydreigon...but then i wanted something more to take draco meteors, especially because i can't predict if Lati@s is going to spam that thing or trick me so Tyranitar was perfect for the job and wanted to join my team :>, he's doing pretty good right now, he take DM like a boss, trap like a boss and help me with those bloody Ninetales Evs and stuff: Super specially defensive Tyranitar with stealth rock, is working pretty good for me, it doesn't even need attacking evs it OHKOes some Reuniclus with crunch, and 2HKOes max hp / max spD Ferrothorn with Fire Blast. But most importantly it let me beat weather teams like Sunny Day or Rain Dance if i can kill their starters (Poli, Nine, Abomas).
...
Flask the Scizor (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Technician EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 SDef Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Bullet Punch - U-turn - Pursuit - Roost Flask was named after the admin of another forum who loves Scizor, and is a pretty cool guy. This is my custom Scizor i take the idea from the Scizor on team Layla, and give it more spD evs in order to take Draco Meteors and special hits better and is doing very good. Evs and stuff: Not much to explain, classic attacks just with LO and Roost, it helps me a lot to recover and switch moves because some people don't notice the LO recoil sometimes. Scizor is my check to things like Virizion, and physicall sweepers who doesn't resist bullet punch too, just in case, priority always comes in handy on a team ths generation.

Have you considered giving your Virzion Max Speed to tie with the other base 108 fighting types? Infernape could really ruin your day as mentioned in the threat list and this could at least give you an opportunity to end it's sweep. I know the standard Gen 4 Ape runs 192 Spd and a Naive nature but I've seen more and more Infernape running 252 Spd.
You seem to be using Quagsire to defend against Sand teams entirely. Once you've taken their TTar down you will only be giving them their weather back. I think Life Orb Starmie would work well in TTars spot. I know it doesn't do the same job but it can give you much better coverage. Test it.

I actually need Tyranitar to win against sunny day teams, ss never give me trouble unless they run a Storm Drain Cradily, Virizion also can destroy most ss teams, she beat Garchomp, Landorus, Tyranitar, Hippowdon, Gliscor, can take a hit from Excadrill, etc. If i kill their tyranitar is not like the weather will stop anyway. Thanks again :>

You might want to consider using a more defensive Mew set because it can deal with Tyranitar just as easily as your current one without so many Attack EVs. I like Bold, 252 HP / 220 Def / 36 Spe Mew with Taunt / Will-O-Wisp / Softboiled / Psychic and Leftovers because it's a great way for luring Scizor and Tyranitar and burning them. It's also a reliable counter for non-Toxic Gliscor and Roobushin, and it's one of the best stallbreakers I've ever used. Changing Mew's set means you lose Stealth Rock, but that's okay since your Tyranitar is probably more suited for setting up the entry hazard. I would suggest you drop Ice Beam on Tyranitar, because you're not weak to Gliscor in the slightest, and replace it with Stealth Rock. You might also want to consider changing your spread to 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD since you don't need any Special Attack EVs to 2HKO max Special Defense Nattorei with Fire Blast. The extra Special Defense is helpful when switching into Latios and also for beating Politoed and Ninetales on weather teams.
Quagsire gets Recover, so I have no idea why you're using Rest and Sleep Talk. I'd replace those two moves for Recover and Toxic, since they will help you beat bulky Waters (hi Jellicent) and Grass-types, all of which can normally switch into Quagsire with ease. Toxic also works nicely with Stockpile because you can more easily stall out your opponents with poision damage rather than waiting for a burn to slowly take them out. Your lack of Bug-resist is really concerning, because although Quagsire can sponge Scizor's attacks, it really doesn't like to take repeated Choice Band U-turns if it's not in pristine condition. I suggest you try a more bulky Scizor set with Leftovers and 252 HP / 40 Atk / 216 SpD to help slightly cover that weakness, and also to counter Reuinclus and Virizion more reliably. Reuniclus in particular is going to bring a Deoxys-S sweep to a halt, so getting it out of the way with a bulky Scizor can help facilitate a sweep. You're a little weak to super offensive stuff like Infernape because you've decided to forgo a fully defensive team to use Deoxys-S, but that's fine as long as you're smart when revenge killing with Deo. Anyways, not much to change here, nice job.

Good job on this Charro! Wow, good to see new members having such great potential :D
First off, I see quite a weakness to a Grass + Bug + Fire (really can be an Ulgamoth + Virizion, or any good grass for that matter lol). So, obviously be weary of that, if you don't want to change any team members though, i'll rate this team on the way it is now. For Mew, the set looks good to me really, nice EVs and everything. So, great job with that. Very interesting Deo-S and it looks like it will work, so I have nothing to say to that especially when it OHKOes Ttar. I agree with Iconic in which you should run Recover and let up rest and rest talk (2 for one, very good :p). Because otherwise you just have nothing to hit other bulky waters as well as any other walls/counters. The Virizion set is good, and can do some awesome sweeping if you don't encounter some counters right away before you can set up too soon (ScarfShandera, Scizor, etc.) This probably will be the standard as well because of its great coverage. Speaking of standard, this is (atm) the standard Ttar and of course it is great with the current metagame and excellent coverage for some of its past counters (namely, most dragons, as well as Natt). Good set. This isn't a bad Scizor set at all, be because of Reuniclus/Rank being able to survive a U-turn, you should probably run SD + Bug Bite + Pursuit/Bullet Punch + Roost (which really is the standard atm). As well as anything I didn't mention, obviously keep Iconic's suggestions in mind especially. All in all, wonderful team. Good job with this, and I hope this helped!

Thank you guys really appreciate it :D
On Quagsire i run rest + sleep talk because i was always facing problems with Toxic and/or Toxic Spikes, i already test it with recover, but i'm going to try that again Also that Mew sounds apealing gonna try it out and test SR on Tyranitar and the alt evs on Scizor, thank you very much again :>

Deoxys-S is a beast i already had him as a revenge killer but runnin boltbeam, psyshock and grassknot, your set is much better ;) though a problem i ran into with ttar i think he was just bulkier or something but i got around 93% of his health down. quite the amazing revenge killer :)
that quagsire is also quite annoying i had to face one with stockpile nd it was hard to take down :p |
