Our ref has made his way too the field, let’s tune in and listen to the conditions of today’s battle.
“This contest will be a one-on-one match, first to KO their opponent wins! Rolf will send out his first pokemon, then shadowbone66 will send out his pokemon, and issue his commands. Then Rolf will issue his commands, and I will judge the condition of each pokemon. The only way to win is to KO the opponent’s pokemon, or if your opponent expends all his energy. Rolf, your pokemon, please.”

Let's make this Guardia's first battle.

Let's let off a Screech, to blow Heather's eardrums and leave her weakened. Then, Club her with your Bone! Just for good measure, Headbutt her with that helmet of yours.

Summary:

Screech -> Bone Club -> Headbutt

Start by using Super Fang to knock off a quarter of this lil guy's health, then Counter both of its moves for good measure!

Hello everyone, and welcome to the Battle of the Day, here at Pokemon Stadium. Rolf, in the Blue Corner, has decided to release his newcomer, Heather the Rattata. Shadowbone66, in the Red Corner, has chosen his own newcomer, Guardia the Cubone. The two pokemon are squaring off, let's see how they both start off their first match.

Heather the Rattata starts off the match by using the Super Fang technique, taking a large chunk of health from Guardia. Guardia lets out a horrible Screech in pain, and its so loud its cracking the glass here in the announce booth! It is also taking its toll on Heather, it looks like the Screech lowered her defense.

Guardia hopes to take advantage of Heather's temporary lack of balance, by using her Bone to Club Heather hard, hoping to hurt her hard. It was certainly a solid hit, but what's this? Heather took the blow and Countered it, hitting Guardia even harder.

Being countered so easily appears to have angered Guardia. So much so that she's blindly running at Heather, and Guardia connects with a Headbutt!! But Heather saw it coming, and retaliates with yet another Counter, hurting Guardia even further.

Heather the Rattata

Heather has started this match off with a ton of damage, but its taken a toll on her energy. Guardia has taken a beating, but has set herself up to but a big hurting on Heather. Who will win their first match, here at Pokemon Stadium? Find out when we return!

Rolf, your actions, please.

Great job Heather! Lets try and finish this with two Hyper Fangs followed by an Endeavor. If he uses Dig to try and get away from the relentless assault, follow him down the hole in a Pursuit!

Hello everyone, and welcome back to Battle of the Day, here at our grassy field here at Pokemon Stadium. Our two battlers are using their new pokemon, as Rolf and his Rattata Heather take on shadowbone66 and his Cubone Guardia. Rolf and Heather have taken an early lead, but Heather's defense is down. Can Guardia capitalize? Let's take a look;

Heather is getting a good workout for her teeth, as she throws herself at Guardia, sinking her teeth in with Hyper Fang. The bite, once again, was so painful, that Guardia lets out another piercing Screech. That probably is gonna cause some permanent damage if Heather listens to any more of those at close range!

Heather seems to enjoy the idea of "if it isn't broke, don't fix it," and is going in for another Hyper Fang, but Guardia Detects Heather's game plan, and the attack fails, side stepping Heather's charging assault.

It looks like Heather thinks Guardia has more health, but is sadly mistaken. She attempts to use Endeavor, but it fails since she still has more health. Guardia takes advantage of the lapse in judgment and goes to her trusty bone club to hit Heather hard while her defenses are so low. She whips her bone club across the arena at Heather. Its connecting, but how will she retrieve her weapon of choice? Oh, what's this? Its coming back around, Guardia used Bonemerang!!

Guardia won that exchange, but she is still dangerously low on health. And while Heather has more health, she has expended a lot of her energy. Does she have the endurance to win her first match? Stay tuned to find out!!

Shadowbone66, your actions, please.

Heh. Barely got out of that one.

Guardia, we'll have to step it up. I have faith in you! Send a trio of Earthquakes in that Rattata's direction! You just might do enough damage to KO her! But if she Endeavours to lower your health, Detect her envious attempt!

Heather the Rattata has built up an early lead in damage, but its come at the expense of her defense! Let's see how this match will play out!

Guardia realizes she needs to let loose some major damage, and the sooner the better! So she thrusts her bone club into the ground, causing an Earthquake! Dirt flies up into Heather, hitting her hard, but Heather is prepared, and Counters to put even more hurting on Guardia!! It seems Guardia took her last hit, she falls to the ground, Guardia has fainted! HEATHER WINS!!
