This looks like it could be a good match!

I'll go with Bagon and Duosion! I'll evolve Bagon into Shelgon, but I'll do the not-dicky thing and not evolve Duosion for obvious reasons.

Wow, Shelgon really sucks. It doesn't even get Sheer Force, and only a 5% accuracy boost. At least Salamence gets 14%...

Maximus and Hades, lead them to their graves! Deblob is our bigger threat, so Maximus, hit him with Crunch, followed by a Leaf Storm. Finish off with another Crunch. Hades, hit Deblob with Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Shadow Ball. If Beblob faints at any point attack Drake instead (this goes for both Max and Hades).

Okay Deblob, we're in a tight spot here. Luckily, we're slower than both our opponents! Start with a Trick Room. Next, use Light Screen so we don't have to take their BS. End with Imprison!

Drake, we need to do some damage here! Start with Draco Meteor on Hades, and follow up with Outrage!

Ugh, the first round is the most annoying (for me at least).

This match startsin the tournament arena, seeing as how it is between rounds and the competitors wanted to take advantage of it. The trainers each came with their three Pokemon, and they have both sent out the two that they are using. -Charmander- sent out Deblob the Duosion, who is refraining from but evolving, but Drake the Bagon evolved into a Shelgon! Alphajolt sent out Hades the Gastly and Maximus the Grovyle. Maximus immediately Crunches on Deblob, which is very disgusting! Hades follows up by shooting a Shadwo Ball at Deblob, who already has a chunck of health missing. Drake starts strong by summoning a massive Draco Meteor right on Hades! Deblob takes advantage of his slowness and creates a Trick Room, changing the dimensions and making slow Pokemon fast. Now faster, Deblob sets up a Light Screen for the incoming special attacks. For some reason, Drake is simple Outraged, and randomly attacks Maximus! Hades shoots a Dark Pulse at Deblob. Maximus summons a Leaf Storm at Deblob, who is seriously hurt a lot for a first round. Deblob continues anyway and mentally connects with Hades, and Imprisons the moves they have in common. Drake is still Outraged and once again randomly attacks Maximus. Hades tries to summon a Shadow Ball, but Shadow Ball is imprisoned, and so it simply fails. Maximus wraps this round up by again Crunching on Deblob, who has really taken a beating. Let's take a look at how the Pokemon are doing:

Gastly should only have 73 health due to Draco Meteor. Also, Pokemon don't pay the consecutive energy cost for Shelgon, so Shelgon should have 70 energy (even with consecutive energy, I'd have 58, not 57). Light screen reduces base power, not damage output. That means Dark Pulse should have done 9 damage and Leaf storm should have done 15 damage.

tl;dr Hades has 73 health, Drake has 70 energy and Deblob has 26 health.

Okay Deblob, you've done super well so far. First, use Reflect. Then, use Recover. End with a painful Psychic on Hades!
IF Gastly uses Protect A3, THEN use Hidden Power on Maximus.

Shelgon, you're also doing super well. Finish your raging, then set up 4 clones with Double Team. End with another Outrage!

Oops, sorry about those stupid mistakes, I will fix them ASAP.

EDIT: Umm, Drake spent 20 energy evolving, 7 energy on each Outrage, and 9 energy on Draco Meteor, which adds up to 43, 100 - 43 = 57.

EDIT: Deblob should have 27 HP because Leaf Storm did 14, not 15. I just forgot about the Draco Meteor hitting Hades, but that is fixed now.

This is looking a bit grim. Maximus, you're slower than hades, use a Brick Break on Deblob to break all the screens (should break for both of them). Then use two Crunches on Deblob. Hades, damage Deblob with everything you have: Dark Pulse, Sludge Bomb, Dark Pulse.

Deblob, already having taken a lot of damage, puts up a Reflective wall around his team to take less physical damage. Drake continues being Outraged, still at Maximus for some reason, but seems to have given himself a headache. Actually, it seems he became confused for 2 actions. Hades fires off a Dark Pulse at Deblob, not doing a ton because of the Light Screen. Maximus sees that these walls are a problem, and so he attacks Deblob, Breaking the walls as if he threw a Brick through them. Deblob, now feeling very vulnerable, tries to Recover some health, but fails since there are no recoveries allowed in this match. Drake takes some time to Double Team, creating 4 clones of himself. Hades pays no attention to Drake, and hits Deblob with a Bomb of Sludge, knocking the blob to the ground, knocked out. Maximus must be hungry, because he starts Crunching on Deblob's unconscious body. Drake is very confused by this, and hits himself, making things more clear for him (Drake is no longer confused). Hades also continues attack Deblob, shooting a Dark Pulse at the thing. Maximus is still just Crunching on Deblob, who is now extremely over-killed.

OK team we got this! Hades, hit with Will-o-wisp to lower his damage output, then use Sludge Bomb and follow up with Dark Pulse. If at any point he uses OUtrage, use Disable and replace whatever action goes there. Maximus, open with Leech Seed to heal a little bit. Then use Rock Slide followed by Crunch. Maximus tries to plant Leeching Seeds into Drake, but again the Substitute absorbs it. Drake now goes on offense and Blasts Maximus with Fire. Hades attacks a Drake with a Sludge Bomb, but it hits the wrong clone. Maximus tries to hit Drake with a Rock Slide, but hits the wrong clone. Drake charges Maximus, and Headbutts him! Hades sends a Dark Pulse at Drake, finally hitting the right one, but the Substitute stills stands. Maximus simply flinches from receiving the Headbutt. That is not a legal Substitution as you must specify which attack, so he shouldn't have used Protect.

Action 1:
Hades: Protect: 7 + 17/3 = 13.667, rounds to 14 Energy
Drake: Draco Meteor: 14 + 3 + (2-2)*1.5 = 17 Damage(blocked), 9 Energy, faints from exhaustion

Alphajolt wins! -Charmander- almost came back, but the energy was too big of a problem! Claims:

Alphajolt and -Charmander- each get 2 TC;
Drake (Shelgon), Deblob (Duosion), Hades (Gastly), and Maximus (Grovyle) each get 1 EC, 2 MC, and 1 DC;
Drake gets 1 KOC;
Hades gets 2 KOC;
C$FP gets 4 RT.

Good game man. I really hate that -20 energy from evolving, would have won without it :( (plus the Recover fail which also could have made me win ;_;). Nice job though. I honestly think I would have gotten better results if I didn't evolve. The stats didn't really change, I lose Sheer Force, and lose a ton of energy...GG though =)

Good game! Agreed that the evo and that recovery fail were big things. Still a fun match and we should rematch sometime!
