Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
I'm still waiting for Leethoof to give legal orders. He can't order a mon to flinch (e.g, order them to do nothing), especially considering that it's Cole Claw that is the target of the combo and not Squirtwig.
Either way, it hinges on the rule against ordering "nothing".
If you feel you've waited long enough, you have the option to disqualify him and gain less rewards sooner, or you can wait for the match to conclude (and likely message Leethoof) and gain further rewards.
Please do. I've got enough on my plate; I always seen to get to this battle too tired to ref further. Make sure you explain your arena rules to any new ref you get. This should have occurred about ten posts sooner, but I have been awful lately.
Leethoof's mons hide behind their Protect shields. Weaklings. Pow! and Yum! take advantage of their cowardliness with some Defense Curl and chill, biding their time. Waiting for the chance to strike.
Pow! strikes with a Fake Out + Brick Break, but unfortunately, as a Normal-typed assault, it does little against Squirtwig’s tough shell. Fortunately, turtles are all pussies, and Squirtwig flinches instead of doing something useful. This leaves it up to Cole Claw to do something. He does nothing but drench the field in mud with a Mud Sport, mitigating the damage of a devastating Thunderbolt + Thunderbolt combination.
As yarnus’s pokemon take a break, Squirtwig and Cole Claw Waterfall and X-Scissor their exhausted bodies.
OK, should've seen this earlier, but it appears that you were using the HP totals after R1, instead of R2. The correct HP/EN is in this post. In addition, it is sandy and they take sandstorm damage, as well as reducing the T-bolt's combo even further. Speaking of which, the Mud Sport reduces the total damage after everything else, so I get 13 Damage. Herp, just realized that was a pretty pointless nitpick
Look's like I forget about the fact that Fake Out flinches.
Squirtwig: Water Gun (Pow!) -> Waterfall (Pow!) -> Rollout (Pow!)
IF Pow faints, then target Yum!
IF Pow is bouncin' in the air, then target Yum!
Cole Claw: X-Scissor (Pow!) -> Rock Blast (Pow!) -> Rock Blast (Pow!)
IF Pow faints, then target Yum!
IF Pow is bouncin' in the air, then target Yum!
Yarnus, it’s 10 (Base Power) minus 2 (Sandstorm) minus 2 (Solid Rock) minus 1 (Sturdy), which equals 5, times 2.25 for the combo, times 1.5 for being super effective, times .5 for Mud Sport.
Unless I’m missing something?
Round 4: Faster Than A Speeding Monkey Possum Thing
Pow! uses an Evasive Agility to whizz out of the way of a Water Gun and X-Scissor, and Yum! swamps the two with a Muddy Water, but the Sandstorm mitigates the damage. The Sandstorm isn’t gonna protect Cole Claw from a purple monkey falling on his face, though.
The Aipom blasts off into the air with a Bounce, once more completely denying the enemy pokemons’ attacks, a Waterfall and Rock Blast, respectively. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows though, for one, it’s the middle of a sandstorm, and two, Yum!’s Supersonic completely misses the prehistoric Cole Claw’s ancient head.
Evasive Agility number two, both attacks missed. What a horrible round for Leethoof. More Muddy Water.
