Mowtom

Snorlax [Om Nom] (M)

Om Nom comes from a strange land, where creatures live in boxes and wait for candy to be delivered to their mouths. When Mowtom visited, he got very good at cutting the ropes needed to deliver candy to Om Nom, who decided to tag along with him in secret when Mowtom left. Obviously, he was a Munchlax at the time, and has since changed drastically.

Type: Normal
  • Normal STAB; +1 BAP on attacks that match dominant arena type after 3 actions. Unable to have Thrash or Outrage disrupted by oncoming damage.
Abilities:
Immunity / Thick Fat / Gluttony (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon's body has an immensely strong immune response to venom and does not take poison damage when Poisoned. Toxic Poisoning will not do damage; however, it will continue to grow more severe.
  • This Pokemon has a great deal of extra fat or muscle that increases its resistance to extreme heat or extreme cold, reducing the type effectiveness of Fire- and Ice-typed attacks to the next level of resistance (2x weak becomes neutral, neutral becomes resistance, etc.)
  • This Pokemon devours healing and stat increasing berries at 50% health (flat) instead of 25% health (flat). It also regains three (3) HP per action when holding Leftovers.

Swalot [Bump II] (M)

Bump II is a descendant of a well-known Swalot from the Kanto region. When Mowtom visited there, a strange Kabutops that was part Steel offered Bump II to Mowtom as a companion. Mowtom, always happy to gain a new team member, gratefully accepted, and was never disappointed with his choice.

Tangrowth [Mystery] (F)

Very little is known about Mystery's past. Even less is known about what her face really looks like, behind those vines. She almost always speaks in a whisper, when she speaks at all. One thing is certain though: Whatever she did and wherever she went before joining Mowtom, her life after joining him was much more enjoyable.

Type: Grass
  • Grass STAB; immunity to Leech Seed, Worry Seed, and all "Powder" based attacks (Poisonpowder, Powder, Rage Powder, Sleep Powder, Spore, Stun Spore). Unable to have Petal Dance disrupted by oncoming damage. Ignores Arena restrictions on Grass attacks requiring an external grass source. Bloom Command.
    • Bloom Command: For the next six (6) actions, this Pokemon's "Grass," "Powder," and "Seed" status-moves will have fifteen (15) added points to their Base Accuracy (e.g. Grass Whistle goes from 55 Base Acc to 70 Base Acc). Type Exclusive commands can only be used by Pokemon that are naturally that type, and are still available if the Pokemon changes type.
      Command Type: Type Exclusive | Accuracy: -- | Energy Cost: 5 | Priority: 0 | CT: None
Abilities:
Chlorophyll / Leaf Guard / Regenerator (Unlocked)
  • During bright sunlight, this Pokemon's cells absorb more solar energy, doubling (x2) their speed.
  • In bright sunlight, the Pokemon is surrounded by a faint green glow. The glow protects it from all permanent and temporary status conditions.
  • When this Pokemon is switched out during a switch battle, it reacts to the energy in the Pokeball and (ten) 10 HP is restored. When this Pokemon Chills, it restores six (6) HP in addition to its 12 Energy.

Rock Head (Passive): This Pokemon's hard body prevents it from taking recoil damage from moves such as Double-Edge, Flare Blitz, and Head Smash.
Sturdy (Passive): This Pokemon's body is solidly constructed, reducing the Base Attack Power from an opponents incoming attacks by one (1). The effect is amplified on OHKO Moves, which are reduced by ten (10) Base Attack Power.
Sheer Force (H) (Toggle): No default effect. When toggled, this Pokemon can energize all its attacks with a secondary effect (These are damaging moves that either lower the target's stats, raise the user's stats, or inflict a status condition on the target). Fake Out - Taunt - Ice Punch

IF
Tangrowth is not under the effects of Taunt when it would act on A2 or A3, THEN replace that action with Taunt, but not if the below sub activated that action.

IF Tangrowth is under the effects of a Protective / Evasive move, THEN use Hone Claws that action, but not consecutively.

"That really isn't how the chance rolls for effects on the fang moves are supposed to work. The method you used (rolling for a 1/10 chance twice) has a 19% chance of an effect being activated, instead of the 20% chance that is supposed to happen. A much better way to do it is roll a 1/5 chance for some effect, and then a 1/2 for which one. Or just roll a d10000 with 1-1000 being flinch, 1001-2000 being burn/freeze, and 2001-10000 being no effect."

"Pretty sure Fire Fang can't flinch AND burn. I meant that if some effect is rolled, that effect has a 50% chance to be a flinch. If and only if it isn't a flinch, then it is a burn."
