350 Cup

350 Cup is a metagame where all mons below 350 Base Stats total are doubled, every single stats. This basically make them powerful and can stand up to Ubers (and some of them are even more powerful than them). They are also as bulky now.

Rules

All mons with 350 Base Stats total or below have all of their stats doubled

Clauses
: Ubers Clauses

Pokemon bans: The following pokemon is banned from 350 Cup:
  • Mega Rayquaza
  • Pawniard
  • Rufflet
Ability bans: The following Ability is banned from 350 Cup
  • Shadow Tag
  • Arena Trap

Item bans: The following items are banned from 350 Cup:
  • Eviolite
  • Light Ball
  • Deep Sea Tooth
  • Eevium Z

Sample Sets

Stufful @ Leftovers / Life Orb
Ability: Fluffy
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Return
- Hammer Arm
- Earthquake
- Swords Dance / Bulk Up

stats: 140 / 150 / 100 / 90 / 100 / 100

Stufful is a newcomer from Alola that have high bulk and Attack, very good Ability. With 140 / 100 / 100 bulk AND Fluffy, Stufful is a threat that is hard to take down Physically AND it hits hard. With Normal/Fighting typing and Fluffy, it's able to check threats like Pawniard and Cranidos and basically many Physical threats. It also has boosting move in Swords Dance and Bulk Up depending on your needs.

Charmander @ Firium Z
Ability: Solar Power
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest / Timid Nature
- Sunny Day
- Fire Blast
- Dragon Pulse
- Hidden Power Ground / Rock

stats: 78 / 104 / 86 / 120 / 100 / 130

What is this? Well, now Charmander has a niche of utilizing Z-Sunny Day + Solar Power and sweep. Fire Blast hits incredibly hard. The rest of the moves is just for coverage. Modest is preferable because it gives more power.

More sample sets in post #36. Credits to TheBurgerKing99.

Q&A

Q: Will Shedinja have more than 1 HP?
A: Shedinja is hardcoded to 1 HP, so no.

Q: Will Wishiwashi-School have doubled stats? If not, what's it's exact mechanic?
A: Wishiwashi-School will have normal stats with exception of HP, where it'll be doubled because it doesn't change it's HP upon transformation. So yeah, it will have 90 HP, rest are normal stats.

Q: Why didn't you ban Thick Club and Deepseascale?
A: I won't blanket ban all pokemon specific items, because it seems unfair. Reason why I banned Light Ball is because of Pikachu has 110/100 offenses AND 180 Speed, while Clamperl has 147 SpA, Shell Smash with 70/170 Defense, so I believe only those two are broken at first glance with items. Cubone needs testing because it only has 70 Speed. Regarding Deepseascale, it increases SpDef, not firepower. So I don't think it's quickban worthy.

So I looked at some of the new mons. Some that caught my eye besides Yungoos having an awful BST and being awful are mentioned below.

Pikipek @ Choice Band / Life Orb / Sky Plate
New Stats: 70/150/60/60/60/130
Ability: Skill Link / Keen Eye
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- U-Turn
- Return
- Brick Break / Bullet Seed / Flame Charge

Pikipek gains insane attack and good speed, although its frail as all hell. A nice glass cannon. Brave Bird and Return are STABs, U-Turn is pivoting, and the final move is for coverage. I'd suggest Brick Break or Flame Charge for Steel types, but Bullet Seed is always nice on Skill Link mons and it helps break rock types better than Brick Break.

EDIT: Basically outclassed by Staravia

Sandygast @ Leftovers
110/110/160/140/90/30
Ability: Water Compaction
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shore Up
- Shadow Ball
- Earth Power / Infestation / Protect
- Toxic / Sandstorm /

Sandygast has good physical bulk, acceptable special bulk, an interesting typing, nice Spa, and the best recovery in the game (well maybe OWing is better...). It should be a good physical wall, like Hippowdon but more ghosty. Shore Up is for recovery, Shadow Ball and Earth Power for stabs, and then filler. Infestation or Protect should be used alongside Toxic to wrack up the damage. Sandstorm not only increases Sandygast's healing but makes it a good supporter for sand teams, also you would probably want Hippopotas over it.

Salandit @ Life Orb / Focus Sash / Air Balloon / Black Sludge
96/80/142/80/154
Ability: Corrosion
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Fire Blast / Flamethrower
- Sludge Bomb / Taunt
- Hidden Power [Grass] / Dragon Pulse / Toxic / Taunt

Salandit @ Choice Specs
Ability: Corrosion
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dragon Pulse
- Fire Blast / Flamethrower
- Sludge Bomb / Sludge Wave
- Hidden Power [Grass]

Salandit is blazingly fast, amazingly weak to Diglett, and pretty goddamn strong. The Nasty Plot set tries to sweep late game, and can also funtion as a neat stallbreaker with Taunt. Hidden Power Grass hits Rock, Ground, and Water types that give Salandit trouble, while Dragon Pulse is somewhat stronger and can hit Dragons... like Garchomp I guess? It also hits Alolawak and Chandelure better than the other options listed... I'd run HP Grass.

The Specs set is basically the attacking options from the first set lumped into one set. Hits hard, and fast, dies to Diglett, not a complex set.

Grimer-Alola looks promising:

New stats: 160/160/100/80/100/50
Basically a tankier but slower Slaking. Could run something like this:
Grimer-Alola @ Black Sludge
Ability: Power of Alchemy
- Explosion/Substitute
- Poison Jab
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge

I was thinking something more like this:
Grimer-Alola @ Black Sludge
Ability: Poison Touch
EVs: 252 HP / 72 Atk / 184 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit
- Shadow Sneak
- Gunk Shot
- Knock Off
The coverage obviously isn't the best, but this baby switches into Gastly and Abra like it weren't no thing, with the EVs adjusted to guarantee that it can switch into HP Ground from Life Orb Abra while rocks are up, and KO with either Shadow Sneak or Pursuit. Gunk Shot 2HKOs any Spritzee except Kee Berry (which sounds pretty scary tbh), and Knock Off hits plenty hard while also providing utility.

Ban Archieves - Light Ball in 350 Cup

Light Ball.png

Light Ball is an item exclusive to Pikachu that doubles its attack and special attack inbattle. With doubled stats Pikachu gains relevancy in 350 Cup amongst threats like Primal Groudon and Xerneas. It now packs a stat spread of 70/110/80/100/100/180 and a base stat total of 640 making it into a terrifying revenge killer. In conjunction with Light ball a hasty (+Spe, -Def) Pikachu invested in both attack and special attack is roughly as powerful as Adamant (+Atk, -Sptk) base 241 attack while its special attack is as powerful as Modest (+Sptk, -Atk) base 223 special attack. In practise a Pikachu packing Light Ball therefore has a stat spread of 70/241/80/223/100/180 and a base stat total of 894. Although Pikachu can easily afford to run a modest/adamant nature.

Its coverage is nothing to laugh at either. Pikachu is gamefreaks baby and they've consistently given it better and better coverage moves throughout the generations. Packing Extreme Speed, Grass knot, Volt Tackle, Fake out, Knock off, Brick Break, Hidden Power Ice, Nasty Plot, Surf, Volt Switch and Thunderbolt Pikachu had the capabilities to 2HKO everything in the tier, nothing springs to mind either way. Common Electric checks like Rhydon, Primal Groudon, Arceus-Ground and Zygarde-Complete get 2HKOd by its vast coverage options. Pikachu is also extremely fast with access to the best priority move in the game making it almost impossible to revenge kill.

To further make my point, here are some calcs
252 SpA Light Ball Pikachu Grass Knot (120 BP) vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Groudon-Primal: 168-198 (41.6 - 49.1%) -- 82.4% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Light Ball Pikachu Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Zygarde-Complete: 328-388 (51.5 - 61%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Light Ball Pikachu Grass Knot (120 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Arceus-Ground: 374-440 (84.2 - 99%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Light Ball Pikachu Grass Knot (100 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Rhyhorn: 476-564 (90.8 - 107.6%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Light Ball Pikachu Volt Tackle vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Grimer-Alola: 348-411 (66.4 - 78.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Light Ball Pikachu Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 136 SpD Hippopotas: 216-256 (45.3 - 53.7%) -- 91.8% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
-1 252 Atk Light Ball Pikachu Volt Tackle vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Growlithe: 253-298 (59.6 - 70.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

This is why Light Ball was banned in SuMo 350 Cup

In gen 6, Eviolite was only banned on mons that got a BST boost. Is there a specific reason why this has changed?

Looking at the new mons, there are surprisingly few which stick out to me (besudes those already mentioned). Yungoos has 140 base attack and Adaptability/Stakeout which is really strong, and Dewpider has 80/80 offences with Water Bubble (but Pdon exists). Mareanie also looks fairly cool with 100/124/104 bulk + regenerator, but it's not a huge amount bulkier than Tangrowth. My favourite buff is Mantyke, though MANTYKE CAN'T LEARN ROOST THERE IS NO JUSTICE IN THIS WORLD

Cranidos is amazing, though.
Stats: 134/250/80/60/60/116
TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY BASE ATTACK

Cranidos @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake / Superpower
- Zen Headbutt
- Rock Polish / Swords Dance / [insert preferred coverage here]

EQ for steels and Pdon, ZHB for fighting types. Superpower hits some steels harder but it's easier to take advantage of it.
252+ Atk Life Orb Cranidos Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Groudon-Primal: 343-406 (85.1 - 100.7%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252+ Atk Life Orb Sheer Force Cranidos Rock Slide vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Arceus: 328-386 (86 - 101.3%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Or if you really want things to drop dead:
Cranidos @ Choice Band
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Head Smash
- Earthquake
- Superpower / Fire Punch
- Zen Headbutt / [insert coverage here]

Fire Punch hits Ferro and 'zor harder, but it's not really needed.
252 Atk Choice Band Mold Breaker Cranidos Head Smash vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Groudon-Primal: 313-370 (77.4 - 91.5%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Choice Band Mold Breaker Cranidos Head Smash vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Arceus: 390-459 (87.8 - 103.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Choice Band Mold Breaker Cranidos Head Smash vs. 248 HP / 56 Def Arceus-Ground: 249-294 (56.2 - 66.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock (this is a resist)
252 Atk Choice Band Mold Breaker Cranidos Superpower vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Ferroseed: 304-358 (80.2 - 94.4%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Yes, it's a suicidal mon, but you smash a massive hole in things. It's not even that frail:
252 Atk Life Orb Arceus Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Cranidos: 322-382 (78.7 - 93.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Life Orb Arceus Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Cranidos: 97-114 (23.7 - 27.8%) -- 87.6% chance to 4HKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Timburr (160 base Attack) Mach Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Cranidos: 306-360 (74.8 - 88%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

BST: 90 / 130 / 80 / 120 / 80 / 140

Litten looks very interesting. It has decently high attacking stats and a fantastic speed of 140. However, it does have heavy competition as a fire type mixed attacker from Salandit and Growlithe. Despite its weaker stats, it can hold its own against them with its fantastic movepool, including swords dance, taunt, u-turn, and decent coverage. Here are some possible sets:

Litten @ Life Orb / Focus Sash
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Flamethrower
- U-turn
- Will-O-Wisp
- Taunt

This set functions as an anti-lead or stallbreaker, outspeeding the opponents team and harassing them with status, taunt, and switching.

Litten @ Life Orb / Focus Sash
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Flare Blitz
- Crunch
- Leech Life

A standard sweeper. Leach life is only really here because Litten has somewhat poor coverage options, but it does have utility in keeping it somewhat healthy.

If you type /learn Doduo, Swords Dance, Jump Kick...

Doduo @ Life Orb
Ability: Early Bird
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Brave Bird
- Jump Kick
- Knock Off

stats: 70 / 170 / 90 / 70 / 70 / 150

In gen 7, Doduo is blessed with two new moves that it didn't normally have in previous gens: Swords Dance and Jump Kick. These two moves makes Doduo have a really good coverage (unlike Staravia who doesn't have any fighting moves) and potentially become the best bird in 350 Cup. You don't need any other coverage besides Brave Bird, Jump Kick and Knock Off because it already hits everything. The only drawback of Doduo is it's useless Ability and fairly low defenses by 350 Cup standards. But it can be really good though.

Clefairy is (still) overpowered.

New stats: 140/90/96/120/130/70

It's best to run something like this:
Clefairy @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Soft-Boiled
- Heal Bell
- Moonblast
- Calm Mind

With a great typing and stats comparable to Lugia, not many pokemon can prevent it from CM + Moonblast sweeping.

+2 4 SpA Clefairy Moonblast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Groudon-Primal: 130-153 (32.1 - 37.8%) -- 96% chance to 3HKO
0 Atk Groudon Precipice Blades vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Clefairy: 139-165 (28.7 - 34%) -- 98.5% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
+2 4 SpA Clefairy Moonblast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Slowpoke: 288-339 (51 - 60.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
36 SpA Slowpoke Psychic vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Clefairy: 67-81 (13.8 - 16.7%) -- possible 9HKO after Leftovers recovery

Possible Checks and Counters:
Magnemite - Flash Cannon coming off of 190 SpA puts a big hole in Clefairy, and its acceptable 110 SpD takes even boosted Moonblasts easily.
252+ SpA Magnemite Flash Cannon vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Clefairy: 306-362 (63.2 - 74.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 4 SpA Clefairy Moonblast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Magnemite: 110-130 (36.1 - 42.7%) -- 95.8% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

Ferroseed - Its massive 88/172 bulk eats boosted Moonblasts like it's nothing, but can't do much back.
+2 4 SpA Clefairy Moonblast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Ferroseed: 75-88 (19.7 - 23.1%) -- possible 6HKO after Leftovers recovery
Lugia - Even with uninvested SpD, Lugia tanks like a boss.
+2 4 SpA Clefairy Moonblast vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Multiscale Lugia: 82-97 (19.7 - 23.3%) -- possible 6HKO after Leftovers recovery

Clef is somewhat outclassed by this lil pink guy:

156/104/120/126/130/46
Spritzee trades some speed (mostly irrelevant) for more bulk, more power, and the ability to dodge taunt. It IS limited to Wish for recovery, but this also allows it to support your team. I've had some success using it alongside Pdon, who is still one of the best mons in the metagame.

It's also possible to run Flamethrower over Heal Bell if Clefairy is your wincon. At the cost of clerical value, Clefairy can KO Magnemite.

So this post is more than one line, let's talk about birds. Man, I love birds.

140/166/100/74/100/120

Abilities: Keen Eye / Sheer Force / Hustle

Rufflet is a destructive beast. This creature of mass destruction does not just break walls, he looks them in the eye as he eats their children. 166 base Attack is unbelievable, and Hustle gives it a HUGE multiplier on top of that natural stat. If you're afraid of missing, you don't need Hustle! Just switch to Sheer Force and get some secondary effects in your life. Let's talk sets.

Breaking Bird
Rufflet @ Life Orb / Choice Band
Ability: Hustle
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Superpower
- Rock Slide
- Shadow Claw

Subblet
Rufflet @ Leftovers
Ability: Hustle
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird / Aerial Ace
- Superpower
- Bulk Up
- Substitute

Standard Sub Bulk Up set. Rufflet pulls it off very well.

Some new promising pokemon [with brief explanations]:

note: these are not the best, they are just some of the new mons that haven't been talked about

BST = 80/160/200/60/60/40

Moveset: Rock STAB [Stone Edge], Normal Moves [Return/Double Edge/Explosion], Coverage [Brick Break/Earthquake], and Status [Rock Polish/Stealth Rock]

Geodude-Alola seems like it could do very well in the current metagame. It has quite a good attack stat, at 160. It can be used offensively with Rock Polish + STAB + coverage, defensively, or even a suicide lead with Explosion + SR.

BST = 100/150/180/20/70/80

Moveset = Ice STAB [Icicle Crash], Steel STAB [Gyro Ball/Iron Head], Coverage [Earthquake/Rock Slide], Status [Rapid Spin/Swords Dance]

Even though Alolan Sandshrew's typing is not that great, Earthquake for coverage makes up for it. Maybe not as powerful as Alolan Geodude, but it has some promise.

BST = 110/110/160/140/90/30

Moveset = Ground STAB [Earth Power], Ghost STAB [Shadow Ball], Coverage [Energy Ball/Giga Drain/Psychic], Status [Toxic/Shore Up/Destiny Bond]

Sandygast has some decent bulk, reliable recovery, and quite a good movepool. With its 140 SpA, coupled with dual STABs, coverage, and Shore Up, Sandygast could become a monster. However, that 30 speed is sort of unreliable.

This, people, is why Delibird is a lord. Type /learn Delibird Splash and you'll know.

Delibird @ Normalium Z
Ability: Hustle
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Splash
- Drill Peck / Ice Shard
- Ice Punch
- Brick Break

stats: 90 / 110 / 90 / 130 / 90 / 150

Z-Splash, making this THE wallbreaker of the century. Z-Splash is better vs defensive teams, while Z-Happy Hour is better vs offensive teams (though you need Insomnia to use Happy Hour). Tbh I'm kinda liking Z-Splash, due to POWER to break defensive teams. Calcs:

+3 252 Atk Hustle Delibird Ice Punch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Hippopotas: 426-504 (89.4 - 105.8%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO (68% if Stealth Rock)

+3 252 Atk Hustle Delibird Drill Peck vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Spritzee: 276-325 (53.4 - 62.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO - rip Spritzee. Ice Punch also 2HKO, no need to worry if you don't carry Drill Peck

+2 252 Atk Hustle Delibird Ice Shard vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Staravia: 350-414 (96.9 - 114.6%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO - No, Staravia can't revenge you if you have Ice Shard

+3 252 Atk Hustle Delibird Ice Shard vs. 132 HP / 0 Def Yveltal: 456-536 (107 - 125.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO - No Sucker Punch revenge for you

You get it? Delibird is powerful.

If you use Happy Hour over Splash, you'll make it bulky, but you will need Insomnia. Proof.

4 Atk Hippopotas Rock Slide vs. +1 0 HP / 4 Def Delibird: 220-260 (68.5 - 80.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after sandstorm damage

You 2HKO Hippopotas after +1 with Ice Beam (you'll want to use Special or mixed if you use Happy Hour), so in case Hippopotas tries to 1HKO you with Rock Slide, you win. Remember that this is a 4x Supereffective move and it doesn't 1HKO. And you outspeed Scarfers, so no need to worry about revenges.

Edit: Apparently you can't use Happy Hour and Hustle, so I changed it a bit

At the request of Why Nerdy

Burn got nerfed! Timburr will be good.

New stats are 150/160/110/50/70/70

Timburr @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Mach Punch / Poison Jab
- Drain Punch
- Bulk Up / Mach Punch
- Knock Off

Slash Ice Punch in there somewhere. Superpower is another option, if you want to hit harder and don't really care about boosts. Guts boosted STAB priority coming of 160 attack is going to hurt, and you can't use burns to hinder it. Drain Punch lets you recover off the burn damage, while Knock Off hits ghosts and Poison Jab hits Fairies such as Spritzee. Timburr is also nicely bulky with 150/110/70 bulk. Depending on what threats emerge you may want to ev it to live certain hits, but for now I just invested fully in attack (do this) and put the rest in HP (up for argument).

Tl;dr: Burn nerf make timburr gooder it hit hard

EDIT: ALSO
Crabrawler @ Choice Band / Choice Scarf
Stats: 94/164/114/84/94/126
Ability: Anger Point
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature / Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Crabhammer
- Earthquake / Rock Slide / Stone Edge
- Pursuit / Rock Slide / Stone Edge

Nice high powered base stat moves, relatively useless abilities until tutors inevitably give it the elemental punches, good attack, not awful speed, Pursuit to trap ghosties... I'd run Knock Off but it doesn't get it. It can also run Rock Slide / Stone Edge to smach incoming flying types and like, Cottonee (seriously, the coverage had to miss out on one type combo). Otherwise Crabrawler's movepool is pretty barren.

EDIT LIKE A YEAR AND A HALF LATER: lol it got ice punch and tpunch who called it i did

I haven't played this tier yet, but looking at how it works I imagine Numel could be ok.

Numel @ Firium Z / Shuca berry
Ability: Simple
EVs: 80 HP / 252 SpA / 176 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Earth Power
- Fire Blast
- Growth
- Sunny Day / Flame Charge

New stats
120 / 120 / 80 / 130 / 90 / 70

It struggles a bit versus P-don before set-up but it can weaken P-don for other sweepers on your team (if you're the shuca version). Numel can be quite threatening once it has boosted its speed as it has enough bulk to set up a Growth & even without a growth it hits decently hard with 130 base attack.

It's probably not as good as I think it is - but hey, it's a Numel. :toast:

Offensive Defog
Pidgeotto @ Leftovers / Life Orb
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Defog
- Return
- Brave Bird

126/120/110/100/100/142

Pidgeotto's BST is just low enough to nab that delicious 350 BST doubling. With doubled stats, Pidgeotto gets very good bulk, an attack stat that can damage opponents with STAB Brave Bird and a speed allowing it to make like a Tapu Koko and U-turn whenever it can't beat its opponent. It can also use the switches it causes to Defog.

Buneary @ Normalium Z
Ability: Limber
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Splash
- Quick Attack/Baton Pass
- Jump Kick
- Return

Stats: 110/132/88/88/112/170

Buneary is already one of the fastest mons in 350 Cup, but now it can use Z-Splash to become a powerful sweeper. After boosting, it can 2HKO pretty much anything that isn't a Ghost type. The only non-ghost things dodging a 2HKO 100% of the time is Max Defense Slowpoke with Leftovers, Bronzor, and Unaware mons. Not being able to touch Ghosts sucks, but if you like you can make it pass the Attack boosts to something else too. Its high speed and priority makes it very effective against offense, as common mons that outspeed it (Abra, Diglett) are frail enough to take big damage from a Quick Attack. It might face competition from something like Arceus, but Buneary is actually much stronger and not reliant on a Normal attack to beat everything. Definitely a threat to look out for.

Staravia pretty much ouclasses Pidgeotto in every way. The only downside is it being less bulky, but running an offensive Life Orb set with Brave Bird you're losing HP pretty fast anyway so the bulk isn't that helpful. It has better Attack and Speed and an actually useful ability in Reckless. You can run what you want ofcourse, Pidgeotto might work regardless, just pointing out.

Now this is a monster.

New Stats: 86/160/130/100/70/70
Corphish @ Life Orb/Choice Scarf
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Crabhammer
- Dragon Dance
- Knock Off
Although it's slow, it can take a hit with good 86/130/70 defenses and retaliate with a 200 base power Crabhammer along with a 80 power Aqua Jet. Choice Scarf can somewhat alleviate its slow speed while Life Orb can boost its already sky-high power.

70 speed is really slow for this meta. I'd still with Life Orb or Band. Also Swords Dance might be better than Dragon Dance, and is definitely worth a slash. Superpower is the best last option on the band set.

Abra @ Life Orb/Focus Sash
Magic Guard
Timid/Modest Nature
- Psychic/Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
- Dazzling Gleam
New Base Stats:
50/40/30/210/110/180

One of the biggest threats in LC due to its raw power and speed, and the same seems to hold true here. Though it gets torn apart by any form of physical priority, 210 base SpA STAB Psychic tears through almost anything the metagame has to offer. Additionally, the weakness to priority can be temporarily offset by Psychic Terrain support.

Meditite sounds promising:
New stats: 60/80/110/80/110/120
Like Azumarill and Diggersby, but much faster, and with HJK. No STAB priority though. Could run something like this:

Meditite @ Life Orb
Ability: Pure Power
EVs: 248 Atk / 8 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Poison Jab / Bulk Up
- High Jump Kick
- Zen Headbutt

Woobat sounds good too:
New stats:130/90/86/110/86/144
Basically Swoobat but much more bulky, allowing it to boost up, and quick to sweep teams without much problem.

Sample Set:
Woobat @ Leftovers
Ability: Simple
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 96 SpA / 80 SpD (idk what to use here)
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Stored Power
- Roost
- Shadow Ball

Regarding Woobat, I think I need to point out it's buff this gen and tell people to use Woobat because unlike last gen, Woobat is no longer frail now.

In 350 Cup, Woobat has +20 HP boost, from having 110 / 86 / 86 defenses to 130 / 86 / 86 defenses. How significant is this?

With old stats:

252+ Atk Groudon-Primal Fire Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Woobat: 294-346 (81.4 - 95.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

With new stats:

252+ Atk Groudon-Primal Fire Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Woobat: 294-346 (73.3 - 86.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

You are now nearly 10% bulkier, which I think pretty significant. Another thing notable is, you are now a bit bulkier than Mew, which I'd say the baseline of bulky attacker in 100 / 100 / 100 defenses.

252+ Atk Groudon-Primal Fire Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Woobat: 294-346 (73.3 - 86.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ Atk Groudon-Primal Fire Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mew: 259-306 (75.9 - 89.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

In conclusion, unlike last gen, Woobat is no longer frail this gen and I think people need to consider it as a threat.
