Round 15: Spinning Fury OF DEATH

Wanting to get away from the rapist Revenankh, Utilitand immediately starts spinning rapidly in a manner that even the Revenankh got spooked about! Despite Revenankh's apparent "Ghost" type, this succeeds in escaping the evil Revenankh once and for all, mostly due to the surprise factor! Fellow attempts to kick up a blinding Sand-attack, but Utilitand was still spinning and bounced the Sand-attack off toward the ground!

Once he stops spinning, Utilitand immediately leaps over Fellow's head in a stylish fashion and gives him a taste of his Acrobatics! He plucks his annoying tail, twists it, and smashes it with amazing grace! The fact that dozens of Eevee fur were plopped out signals a lovely critical hit! That said, Fellow's a bit in a daze. Is he... dreaming? He's just wobbling about! And then... suddenly, it's as if he saw a ghost! He just stares... at a wandering Yamask... who stares right back. At that moment, Fellow drops like he was just shot! Looks like he fainted...

Calculations

Utilitand
A1: Rapid Spin > [3 Energy]

Wow, Utilitand hardly used any energy at all for that round! God you're good at being economical, Utilitand! Yeah, you forgot to drop Utilitand's energy...

Anyways, time to eat a shroom! Start out by naturally floating to the top & using Gust & send Bushido flying into a Sarcophagus (And hope Bushido hits a Cofagrigus). If he does hit a Cofagrigus, excellent! You can safely use Acrobatics then round out with a Sludge Bomb. If not, then fire another Gust to slam him into another sarcophagus! If that one is a Cofagrigus, then use Acrobatics. Otherwise, use Sludge Bomb.

Start us off with a strong Stone Edge to maximize our damage output while his defense is down! Then while he's trying to Gust you attack with Headbutt to try and get enough moment to smash him backwards! If he gusts use Headbutt and if he uses Acrobatics dodge with a 4 Clone Double Team!

Stone Edge-Headbutt-Headbutt/4 Clone Double Team

I forgot to ask what ability for Breloom. Sorry about that. It's actually not needed though once you read the update.

Also, too many subs. I'm just using the first line. Other refs would surely penalize you and give you a null action!

Round 16: Shroomy Nightmare

With Fellow FINALLY fainting, we got Bushido joining the fray to attempt some pow pow onto Utilitand! Can he? We shall see!

Thanks to his faster Speed, Utilitand takes the lead and summons an eerie array of Gusts from the dusty temple that swirls madly toward Bushido! This manages to carry his entire weight toward a sarcophagus! DING DING DING! Open! And guess what folks! We've scored a nice, helpful Cofagrigus! This huge scary sucker links up with the incoming Bushido and mummifies him! Seconds later, it can only be said that Bushido now possesses the Mummy ability! As a good-bye note, Cofagrigus gives Bushido a nice, magical Hex that smashes his mind with crazy thoughts! The smashing onto the sarcophagus did one thing right for Bushido however: it created some broken "rocks" for use! Without thinking, Bushido immediately grabs one of the broken pieces of "rocks" and throws the stone's edge right at Utilitand's face! The attack makes contact and the effects are clear: Utilitand has a bloody face.

Glad that his trick was successful, Utilitand pushes his lucky momentum and gracefully performs an Acrobatics attack! From the air he lands onto Bushido's head and bashes him with swift, multiple hits. This must have been painful for the mushroomhead to bear! At that exact moment, Utilitand... was contracted with mummy fervor! Afterward, Bushido carries out a fast Headbutt that strikes Utilitand with revenge and hate! This knocks Utilitand a bit close to a sarcophagus, but not quite!

Utilitand keeps the pain rolling by gushing a Sludge Bomb onto Bushido's face! Sheeesh, just how painful was that! With the sludge drooping from Bushido's face, I'd say that was poisonous! Bushido sweats in competition from the attack... until he goes from area to area in the temple to create a Double Team of four clones! How will this change the outcome of Bushido's fate? Only next time will tell!

---------------------------------------------------------

Calculations

Utilitand
A1: Gust > 4 + 3 + (1.5) x 2.25 = [19 Damage/2 Energy]
A2: Acrobatics > 11 + 3 - (1.5) x 2.25 = [28 Damage/6 Energy]
A3: Sludge Bomb > 9 + 3 + (1.5) x 1.5 = [20 Damage/6 Energy]

Bushido
A1: Stone Edge > 10 + (4.5) + (1-0 x 1.5) x 1.5 = [24 Damage/8 Energy]
A2: Headbutt > 7 + (4.5) + (1-0 x 1.5) = [13 Damage/5 Energy]

End-game, is it? Well, time to wrap this up, Utilitand! With the speed advantage, we'll be sure to win! Now, I hate these clones, so use Whirlwind to obliterate them all, & critical hit or not, we'll still be alive, & he'll have no clones left. This will leave him wide open to a final assault from Acrobatics, which we shall use to deliver the final blow! If he's still alive, then use Acrobatics again to properly deliver the final blow. Speed Advantage FTW!

Bushido really should've used Spore there...

Round 17: Shroomy DEATH

Ohhh I feel it alright! Can't wait for some mushroom soup! Get cooking Utilitand!

So let's see what's going on. Utilitand is pretty worried about how there are five Brelooms... but he has a plan. By flapping his parachute back and forth, he creates a swift Whirlwind that dazes the temple with exciting dust and wind! This swooshes the multiple Brelooms into a phazing matter... blowing four Brelooms right into a wall. They all poof when they contact four separate sarcophagus... and they all open in wonder of what in the world just happened. They are... three Cofagrigus and one Revenankh. But seeing how there is nothing near that could've knocked on their doors, they just sit there and observe the quite interesting match that's happening. Anyway, I spot him! THAT IS THE ONE! GET HIM! Bushido is immediately shocked from the result of the haxwind and picks up a pretty sharp Stone Edge in which he uses to try to stab Utilitand with from afar! Or, to be clear enough, he threw it! However, his aim was very wonky and, as we all know it, it was a stone miss! Not quite the day to be a Breloom, huh Bushido?

Utilitand then takes advantage of the poor Bushido by flying skyward, and then diving right at the mushroom with an Acrobatic aim! He crashes, he tears, he rips, he shreds, he DESTROYS Bushido with a multitude of tricky movements and hits within seconds. As Utilitand steps off of Bushido's ruined body toward a safety area, all the Yamask stop their movements and stare at the result. Bushido, with green blood covering the floor he's standing on as well as his entire body, collapses in exhaustion from being beat up so much.

And then all the Cofagrigus, Yamask, and Revenankh celebrate Utilitand and his team's victory! The Cofagrigus learn to shorten their name to "(BAN ME PLEASE)", the Yamask finally get to open their eyes to the true light of the temple, and the Revenankh finally find out whose bodies they're possessing...? Dance dance revolution gogo!

You actually get 6 Ref Tokens, iirc.

Anyways, gg Solstice, it was a great battle, closely fought, & all in all, you were a quality opponent.

Thank you for Reffing this match Flora, the speed of the reffing was very good, the actual reffing was great, only one gaping error I could see & that was in Round 3 concerning who went first. I saw this as a fairly critical error. I was planning on switching again that round, & that mistake effectively made Excadrill dead-weight. Other than that, not bad for your first reffing of a switch battle.

Now for my strategy. Initially, I decided to bring Choragon, in case Solstice decided to bring his Kitsunoh, which he didn't, but he was there, just in case. Initially, after the first round, I planned to switch in Shovrill & get his evolution out of the way, then retreat, too bad he became dead-weight...Then after Spiroffin took care of Equinox, his job was to stall out Fellow as long as he can, then after that, Utilitand was to come in & clean up the game.

All in all, this is one off the better battles I've played, & I do hope there's a rematch somewhere down the line. Now to go & claim...

I don't think so. This was a plain 3v3 singles match. So it should be 4 but let me check again...

Yes, it's 4.

When did that happen? I'm checking the edit date lol.

I think that happened today or something. Looks like Deck_Knight bumped the rewards up so that's cool.

So wow, I should go edit my recent reffing posts for my ref tokens or something... if that was actually there the entire time? (I'm clueless. It's like a ghost happened.)

I keep repeating "or something". I'm just shocked.

Okay, thanks Its_A_Random. I've absolutely NO idea when that happened, but looks like I'm not done for the night yet.

You know, I might still just reward myself with 4... I feel really greedy and guilty taking 6 for a 3v3 singles.

I don't know anymore...

I think I misunderstood what deck said. I thought it was +1 when he probably meant "double". Ah, well, I need my sleep, gg!

That was an excellent, albeit somewhat dry in the middle, battle. And I would be all for a rematch one of these days! Also Flora you are an incredible red, amazing job! Good Game to everyone!
