Good luck both of you, and have fun!

(Psst, you need to pick your ability.)

Let's go Phloem, in your first appearance! Use your Battle Armour ability!

Let's start with a Will-o-Wisp, then hit him with Bullet Seed and Seed Bomb. Sub Earth Power if he uses Dig - you're cracking the earth and whatnot, if that doesn't work, I'd be shocked.

WoW >>> Bullet Seed >>> Seed Bomb
(Sub Earth Power if Dig is used)

Frank, with your shed skin ability (see what i did there)
use leer follow up with a double team with 2 clones then use payback to doll out serious damage

Leer > Double Team (2 clones) > Payback

Once upon a time, this was a famous football (american or soccer?) field, but has been abandoned for as long as anyone can remember. Two daring trainers decide to battle here though, so let's see what happens!

Phloem the Embirch, being somehow faster, starts off by launching a fiery Will-o-Wisp. However, he was a little too eager and the move missed! Frank the Scraggy is just shocked that he would try such a thing and Leers at him. Scary!

Phloem slowly starts preparing a ton of seeds, and it looks like he'll be at it for a while. In the meantime, Frank creates a couple of clones with a Double Team. Finally, Phloem is ready to attack, and launches a barrage of Bullet Seeds. Once the first one hits the real target he immediately launches the final Seed Bomb at his foe, doing even more damage! Quite angry, Frank ends the round by unleashing some Payback, and the force is so powerful that it knocks Phloem into the goal (or goal post if this is american football). Looks like it would have been a critical if it wasn't for Battle Armor!

note: everything was done in the correct order, I wrote the flavor that way because I felt it was more interesting. Bullet Seed hit (twice) before the Double Team, and Seed Bomb also hit after it

DFrog, you're up!

Start with Dragon Dance then use Drain Punch and follow up with a Brick Break
Sub Brick Break or Drain Punch with Detect if he uses will-o-wisp

Dragon Dance > Drain Punch/Detect > Brick Break/Detect

Aw man, hax. Well, if he's statting up, so are we. Use Growth, then Will-o-Wisp to force his Detect. Then finish up with another Seed Bomb.

Growth >>> WoW >>> Seed Bomb

Yeah, I just forgot to include it in the post, sorry.

We come back to the battle in the old football arena to see these two pokemon continue to battle... very slowly. They both start out by trying to intimidate their foe; Frank starts out by performing an ancient Dragon Dance, which his ancestors believed would summon a dragon just as a dance of rain might summon rain, while Phloem tries something a bit more physical and makes himself Grow thicker and taller.

Frank, with his new additional speed, originally plans to attack, but his trainer commands him to Detect instead. Just in time, because another large fireball was coming at him from Phloem's Will-o-Wisp! Frank isn't too happy about the interruption and decides he is going to attack this time, no matter what. He even Breaks a few Bricks to prove his point, and some of the pieces fly off and hit Phloem! Using his size to his advantage, Phloem responds by spitting out a gigantic Seed Bomb, probably big enough to eventually sprout into the world's largest tree

Phloem's Seed Bomb: 11 damage, 4 energy

Son of Shadoo, you're up!

Phloem, let's go for a status assault. Use Leech Seed, Will-o-Wisp, then Flamethrower. If he Detects, slide your actions back one.

Leech Seed >>> Will-o-Wisp >>> Flamethrower

Slide actions back if Detect is used.

Start with Detect to block his seeds, then follow up by Fainting your Attack then ram him with a powerful Drain Punch

Detect > Faint Attack > Drain Punch

HP: 60
Energy: 63
Other: +1 Attack and Speed (2 more actions)

HP: 55
Energy: 69
Other: +1 Attack and Special Attack (2 actions), -1 Defense

As we begin another round, Frank decides to do nothing besides Detect his opponent's move. He sees a Leech Seed coming, and is able to avoid it completely! He then disappears briefly, coming back behind Phloem and hitting with a Faint attack. Still at close range, however, Phloem hits him with another Leech Seed, hitting this time with every seed. Knowing that his foe will be able to absorb his health, Frank decides to give him the same with a Drain Punch, doing a ton of damage. Phloem quickly considers his options, knowing he is starting to run low on health, and simply launches a Will-o-Wisp at Frank, and it hits! This should make things much easier for Phloem!

Wait, what's happening? Suddenly, Frank steps out of his pants. His trainer was originally angry and confused at his act, but quickly realized it was simply Frank Shedding his Skin! The burn already healed, what a shame!

DFrog, you're up!

okay lets rinse and repeat:
Frank do your Dragon Dance then Drain Punch Pholem in the face then use Faint Attack, if he attacks you first on action three, switch Faint Attack with Payback

Dragon Dance > Drain Punch > Faint Attack/Payback

... God damn it. 30% my ass. Fine, as he dances, turn him into a disco inferno. Protect the Drain Punch, then use another Flamethrower.

Flamethrower >>> Protect >>> Flamethrower.

HP: 60

Other: Leech Seed (4 more actions)

HP: 30
Energy: 41
Other: -1 Defense

As we start the round, Phloem comes to a realization: he's faster now because Frank's Dragon Dance has worn off! He uses the opportunity to fire a Flamethrower, doing a bunch of damage and even inflicting Frank with a burn! Poor guy! In a panic, he (Dragon) Dances around wildly, hoping that something will put out the small fire and forgetting to stop drop and roll!

Frank's trainer tells him to slow down and relax, and perhaps try a Drain Punch to ensure he doesn't lose too much health. Phloem's trainer, however, had warned him that he might try something dangerous, and the creature was already prepared to Protect against the hit. He was not anticipating the next attack though, as Frank disappeared and came back right behind him for a Faint Attack! Still in close range, Phloem scrambles backwards and launches a Flamethrower, doing enough damage to get Frank to back away.

Son of Shadoo, you're up!

... Wow, burn is being a troll today.

Phloem, just go all out.

Flamethrower >>> Chill >>> Flamethrower
Sub Earth Power if Dig is used on a Flamethrower.

We can do this lets get your first KO counter
Lets get payback for burning you, since I be going first for the next couple actions I want you the hit him with your strongest Drain Punch then pull out your sunnies and Chill then hit him again with another powerful Drain Punch
Drain Punch > Chill > Drain Punch

DAMN YOU RNG!!!!!!!!(unless you pull a shed skin...)

Both pokemon step up, prepared to knock each other out. Frank runs at Phloem and Drains him with a powerful Punch, and at the same time becomes engulfed in another Flamethrower. Both attacks do quite a bit of damage, although only one of these two is actually healing the pokemon...

Next, both pokemon decide to play it safe and relax. Frank lets his pants drop, revealing the extra pair underneath, while Phloem pulls out a cigar and lights it with a bit of his fire breath. The two of them spend the next few minutes conversing with each other and chilling, not wanting to do anything strenuous.

Finally, their trainers remind them that they are in a battle, and they continue attacking. Frank picks up his pants and runs at Phloem, losing his pants again on the way there, and attacks with a Drain Punch, doing a bunch of damage and healing himself at the same time. Barely surviving from the hit, alive only because of the one more action of Leech Seed, Phloem launches another Flamethrower, which is actually enough to knock out Frank! Those seeds combined with the burn to finish his foe off! How unexpected!

Well that sucks... stupid burn

Well come on out Steve, the Totodile.

Finish him with Aqua Jet

DFrog sends out his next pokemon, Steve the Totodile. This pokemon looks a little bit more fierce than the previous one, and immediately starts out on the offensive with an Aqua Jet. Phloem, however, somehow manages to stand up and Protect himself from the attack, despite how weakened he is! Sadly, he can't keep that up, and another quick Aqua Jet finally takes him down!

Let's go, Marle the Feebas! I could be a total dick and make her evolve with this match's EC... But I won't. I'm a nice guy. I want you to Toxic Steve until it works, then use Confuse Ray. If you have any actions left, use Hypnosis.

Toxic til it works >>> Confuse Ray >>> Hypnosis

YAY for not being a dick, lets hope my actions don't change this...
Start with a Leer to lower defences, then use Dig to avoid the confuse ray. Then while you're still close the feebas run around to its flank and Crunch down. Hopefully getting a fabled defence drop!!!

Leer > Dig > *run around to flank* Crunch
