"Uh oh I'm not sure if we can win this one Buster. I believe in you and your partner Grace! Buster lets see if we can use the type advantage over your fiery opponent use Air Slash to cut Flarelm down to size then spread your Toxic poison on him to add insult to injury. Finally take advantage of your opponents debilitated state as use Venoshock, if Flarelm is not poisoned from action 2 for whatever reason sub venoshock with Sludge Wave. Grace this is your first battle lets win this with style. However your first action will be less than stylish because you will Taunt Prinplup. Ignite your light by using Confuse Ray on Flarelm. Boredom will overwhelm you as Yawn at Prinplup.

Buster: Air Slash > Toxic > Venoshock/Sludge Wave All directed at Flarelm
Grace: Taunt (Prinplup) > Confuse Ray (Flarelm) > Yawn (Prinplup)

And it’s time for a battle at the ASB arena.

Two friends walk into the arena at opposite ends and their eyes lock. They both draw out 2 of the 4 pokeballs they brought with them. TravelLog sends out his Flarelm, Shemhazi, and his Prinplup, Pengwin.

At the other end of the arena,
DFrog calls out his Breezi, Buster, and his Scratchet, Grace.

    To start the battle,
the little Scratchet starts to use some foul language in an attempt to Taunt Pengwin, and it works brilliantly. Buster, wanting to get this battle rolling, fires off a super effective Air Slash at TravelLog’s Flarelm. Thinking to get ahead later on in the battle, Shemhazi decides to make everyone’s day a bit brighter by using Sunny Day, and activates his Leaf Guard. After the heat up, Prinplup thought Buster looked a bit overheated so he takes aim and fires off an Ice Beam at Buster, causing him to cool down a bit.

    Next up,
Grace fires a Ray of Confusion at Shemhazi, making him slightly confused. Feeling a bit queasy, Buster starts to spew up a Toxic liquid and hits Shemhazi, but it fails because of his Leaf Guard. Getting fed up with this Breezi, he decides to unleash his power from the sun with a powered up Flamethrower. Fearing for his safety after the foul language Grace used last move, Pengwin starts to Dig underground.

    To finish off his turn,
Buster decides to Shock Shemhazi with the feel of Venom . Getting tired of the battle already, Grace Yawns towards Pengwin, but Pengwin didn't notice the sound due to being underground. hearing a call for help from his friend Shemhazi, Pengwin pops up and fires an Ice Beam at Buster, while Shemhazi finds a chilly Hidden Power within himself and aimed at poor Buster who ends up getting hit by two moves at the same time.

At the start of the second round, the Scratchet known as Grace once again breaks out with some more foul language, to Taunt an opponent, this time aimed at her other opponent, the Flarelm, Shemhazi. While Grace is cursing out one of the opponents, Buster throws up a shield of sorts to Protect himself through the action. After the verbal attack from Grace, Shemhazi aims at Buster, and lets loose a supped up Flamethrower once again, but unlike last time Buster was unharmed from it. Just as his teammate finishes up his Flamethrower, Pengwin starts to spew Scalding hot water at the little Breezi, but just like his teammate it has no affect due to Buster's Protect.

After her 2nd outburst, Grace feels a bit sick and spits up a Toxic liquid at the Prinplup, Pengwin, who ends up badly Poisoned. Knowing full well that this could be his last move without his shield, Buster decides to make it count and hits Shemhazi with an Air Slash. Feeling a bit weak Shemhazi trys to heal by using Synthesis, but can't focus to do it due to the Taunt he endured last turn. Still feeling like it's still a bit to hot, Pengwin hits Buster with an Ice Beam, and with that Buster faints.

To end the round, Grace finds within herself a chilling Hidden Power that she unleashes at Shemhazi. After that hit, Shemhazi feels that he needs to Chill and recover some energy, but ends up too flustered to try and relax. Feeling pumped after taking out one enemy, Pengwin feels like he could Break a stack of Bricks, but feels Grace would do.

"This is suicide regardless, go Travis Arm Thrust*2 and then Drain Punch Flarelm into non-existence. Grace, Chill out then follow suit with Hidden Power*2."

Travis: Arm Thrust*2 > Drain Punch Flarelm
Grace: Chill > Hidden Power*2 Flarelm

Should Flarelm faint swap targets to prinplup with Grace using Rock Smash on said action.

    Great job guys!
Pengwin, I want you to start by Yawning at Privatyke. Then jump in front of Flarelm to take the damage for him while Biding. Then do it once more! I know the damage will hurt, but I believe in you!

    Flarelm:
I want you to open the round by using Energy Ball on Privatyke. Follow that up with Giga Drain, also on Privatyke. Close out the round by using Aromatherapy to cure Prinplup!

    Pengwin:
    Yawn (Privatyke)~Bide~Bide (hold)

    Flarelm:

At the start of the 3rd round, DFrog sends out Travis, the Privatyke, to take place of the defeated Breezi, Buster. With a new Teammate out on the field, Grace decides to Chill and recover some energy. While Grace was Chilling, Shemhazi decides to take advantage of it and hit Travis with an Energy Ball. After his teammate hit the new opponent, Pengwin thinks of him as nothing, and Yawns at Travis, making him drowsy. Finally able to get in a move, Travis Thrusts his Arms at Shemhazi 4 times.

Sensing some big hits coming towards his teammate, Pengwin Jumps in front of his teammate, ready to take any damage for him this turn. Feeling a bit weak, Shemhazi decides to use Giga Drain on Travis to recover some health this turn. After seeing her teammate hit like that the previous turns, Grace decides to get some revenge for him by unleashing her Hidden Power at Shemhazi, but this hits Pengwin instead. Travis decides to go in to try and hit Shemhazi with an Arm Thrust, but just like his teammate, it hits Pengwin instead. And after that, Travis falls Asleep.

For his final move this round, Shemhazi uses Aromatherapy on his teammate, Pengwin, and cures him of his Poisoning. After being cured, Pengwin starts to Bide. Wanting to finally hit her original target, Grace lets loose her Hidden Power once more, and ends up hitting her OT.

    Round 4

Seeing how her tutee is away for the moment, Flora steps into the front crowd on this sunny day and grabs the mic. "I will be your referee for today and you better like it!" she roared into the mic. This certainly caught the audience's attention, as well as the two battlers.

Penqwin resumes his endurance of Biding from last round despite the fact that his opponent is vastly aware of the state. Shemhazi quickly takes his eyes off me and begins to Giga Drain the life out of Travis, whose water particles is sure a good fit of health for the leafy monster! Desperate to eliminate this beast, Grace leaps onto Shemhazi and delivers a Rock Smash from who knows where that tickles Shemhazi's body. Ooo, a Defense drop, you say? Well, Travis is sure very Unaware of that as he lazily wakens up from his slumber and Yawns right at Pengwin's face! Uh-oh! That penguin is going to fall asleep any time soon now!

    Action 1 calculations (open)

    Penqwin: Bide
    Shemhazi: Giga Drain (Travis) > (8+3+3) x 1.5 = [21 DMG/11 HEAL/11 EN]
    Grace: Rock Smash (Shemhazi) > (4+3-1.5) = 5.5 ~ [6 DMG/2 EN]
-1 Def (Shemhazi) (Unaware negates this)
Travis: Yawn (Penqwin) > [7 EN]

Feeling a bit high, Penqwin feels ready to release his Bide at Grace. The fury of the energies immediately spark out of Penqwin and wrap around Grace for a bundle of goodiness! Shemhazi minds his own business and shoots an Energy Ball at Travis, who is really starting to feel the pain of the effectiveness! Recovering from the deadly Bide, Grace gets up and angrily unleashes the hidden power within herself onto Shemhazi. It hits... but the patheticness of the damage makes Shemhazi laugh chaotically! Travis grins at the madman's effort of endurance and slams a triple Arm Thrust onto Shemhazi, almost breaking parts of his body!

Afterward, Penqwin... suddenly falls asleep! Oh no! At least it's a light sleep of 1 action though.

    Action 2 calculations (open)

    Penqwin: Bide (Grace) > (4+9) x 1.75 = 22.75 ~ [23 DMG/18 EN]
    Shemhazi: Energy Ball (Travis) > (8+3+3) x 1.5 = [21 DMG/5 EN]
    Grace: Hidden Power (Shemhazi) > (7-1.5) = 5.5 ~ [6 DMG/5 EN]
    Travis: Arm Thrust (Shemhazi) > ((2x3)+3+1.5) = 10.5 ~ [11 DMG/3 EN]

Still alive due to his brokeness and whatnot, Shemhazi greedily starts to drain with giga amounts onto Travis. What is he - a bloodsucker? He just won't die! Penqwin sadly cannot do a single thing since he's in his wild goosechase of a sleep! Grace knows but she can't really do much about it so she just fires off another Hidden Power onto Shemhazi. The magic bursts into mystical dust and Travis makes his stance by leaping at Shemhazi for a smashing Drain Punch to the face! As he falls back down and backs away, it's only to his demise that the fire grass monster is still alive!

    Action 3 calculations (open)

    --------------------------

    Round 5

Not liking his low HP, Shemhazi reaches over toward the brilliant sun and uses his Synthesis to restore a bundle of health! Penqwin happily wakes up from his short slumber and thrashes his beak into Travis. By then, his beak is drilling into a peck! Uh-oh! Travis has a huge hole in him as a result of the attack... and then... he barfs out... pirate booty. His eyes swirl and swirl until... he just can't breath anymore. Seconds later, what do you know, Travis has fainted! Now alone, Grace goes FURIOUS and swipes with fury three times on Shemhazi, though the effort was lost due to the Synthesis... which heals too much. :(

    Action 1 calculations (open)

    Shemhazi: Synthesis > +30 HP [14 EN]
    Penqwin: Drill Peck (Travis) > (8+0) x 1.5 = [12 DMG/6 EN]
    Grace: Fury Swipes (Shemhazi) > ((2x3)+3-1.5) = 7.5 + 1.75 ~ [9 DMG/3 EN]

After successfully eliminating Travis, Shemhazi and Penqwin decide to take it easy and chill like a pair of homies. Grace just desperately tries to kill Shemhazi by doing the Rock Smash technique onto her, which sadly doesn't really do much damage. Well, at least with Travis gone, the Defense drop will be noticed!

    Action 2 calculations (open)

    Shemhazi: Chill > [+12 EN]
    Penqwin: Chill > [+12 EN]
    Grace: Rock Smash (Shemhazi) > (4+3-1.5) = 5.5 ~ [6 DMG/2 EN]
    -1 Def (Shemhazi)

Now ready to rock and roll, Shemhazi plucks some Leech Seeds onto Grace and sucks her blood! Penqwin rolls in and chops Grace's face with a cracking Brick Break hit. As for Grace, well, she's getting pretty beat up, but that doesn't stop her from becoming an enraged ape and Fury Swiping Shemhazi two times! Man, she needs to do some real damage sometime soon!

    Action 3 calculations (open)

Shemhazi: Leech Seed (Grace) > [9 EN]
    Penqwin: Brick Break (Grace) > (8+0) x 1.5 = [12 DMG/6 EN]
    Grace: Fury Swipes (Shemhazi) > ((2x2)+3-1.5) + 1.75 = 7.25 ~ [7 DMG/3 EN]

    +3 HP (Shemhazi)
    -3 HP (Grace)

Soon after, the sun decides it wants to go away because it hates you guys... well, you can always call it here again!

    --------------------------

    Round 6

DFrog returns his fallen Travis and unleashes the more healthy Desmond, though god knows how much of an impact he'll make!

Fresh out of the ball, Desmond immediately extends his shadow toward Shemhazi and sneaks right into his body. A deadly, sneaky blow that was! Exhausted and weary, Shemhazi sits down and chills off, cooling his body and mind and restoring some energy. Pengwin continues to jump onto Grace and pound the little cub with a hardened Brick Break. With powerful endurance, Grace takes the attack on and goes after Shemhazi. With her fury, she swipes the wood creature twice! That did very little damage...

Looks like the Leech Seed is taking its toll on Grace. Shemhazi feel much better with the little sapping, but how much of a help will it be? Additionally, Shemhazi's curse of a Defense drop has vanished!

    Action 1 calculations (open)

    Desmond (Shadow Sneak Shemhazi): (4+3+0) + 1.75 = [9 DMG/2 EN]
    Shemhazi (Chill): [+12 EN]
    Pengwin (Brick Break Grace): (8+0) x 1.5 = [12 DMG/6 EN]
    Grace (Fury Swipes Shemhazi): ((2x2)+3-1.5) = 5.5 + 1.75 ~ [7 DMG/3 EN]

    +3 HP (Shemhazi)
    -3 HP (Grace)

Once again, Desmond attacks Shemhazi from within the shadow. Sneaky eh, ghost? Shemhazi is at last refreshed and restored and goes burns some cubs called Grace with his inferno Flamethrower, whose pressure seems a bit overwhelming for the little creature to endure. Pengwin is exhausted as well and blows some air into his system with a deep chill. Grace goes in and furiously swipes at Shemhazi with two slashes. Uhh, twice in a row? You can do better! But still, Shemhazi was a bit too weak... in fact, WAY too weak! The little scratches cause the woodman to daze over the horizon and fall down into a faint!

Due to the fainting, the Leech Seed cracks into pieces and dissipates. But, it's too late to save Grace from her destiny!

    Action 2 calculations (open)

    Desmond (Shadow Sneak Shemhazi): (4+3+0) = [7 DMG/6 EN]
    Shemhazi (Flamethrower Grace): (10+3+1.5) = 14.5 ~ [15 DMG/6 EN]
    Pengwin (Chill): [+12 EN]
    Grace (Fury Swipes Shemhazi): ((2x2)+3-1.5) = 5.5 ~ [6 DMG/7 EN]

Desmond smiles as the mighty Shemhazi finally falls, then turns his attention to Pengwin, who's been sticking around for far too long! He charges in with his Shadow Sneak and smashes the penguin, albeit lightly. Pengwin just leaps in and smacks Grace a new one with his smacking Brick Break! Uh-oh! Grace is totally not feeling it! She's gone! She has fainted!

    Action 3 calculations (open)

    Desmond (Shadow Sneak Pengwin): (4+3-1.5) = 5.5 ~ [6 DMG/10 EN]
    Pengwin (Brick Break Grace): (8+0) x 1.5 = [12 DMG/6 EN]
