Let's not be mean and instant kill with Swampert,

let's go Cake the Corphish!

Alright Cake, this is your first battle so let's make it count!

Start with a Dragon Dance to boost attack and speed. Follow up with some water attacks, a BubbleBeam should do and finish with Scald

watch out for those tricky moves that Vulpixes are known for, if you see a Will-o-Wisp or a Confuse Ray coming your way use Protect to block it and push all actions down.

Hmmmph Rokon, let's show him just how tough we can be! We'll play this offensively in our own way!

Start with a Toxic, it should wear Corphish down a lot, and we don't need to worry about weakening his attacks thanks to Drought anyways. Follow that up with a Bide!

Toxic ~ Bide ~ Storing energy

Steampowered, that is an illegal substitution, I am pretty sure. You have to make a substitution based on only 1 particular move. The substitution rules can be found in the referee training grounds.

Rokon starts Biding his time, while Cake shoots a Beam of Bubbles at Rokon. Rokon just continues to Bide. Cake spits up some Scalding water at Rokon to finish this round.

OK, Rokon, start by releasing your Bide! Follow that up with a Confuse Ray, and end with an Energy Ball! If Corphish decides to Protect on a1, use Disable on it next turn and push actions down. That will leave him vulnerable to all our other attacks!

Release Bide ~ Confuse Ray ~ Energy Ball
IF (Corphish uses Protect a1), THEN (change actions to Release Bide ~ Disable (Protect) ~ Confuse Ray)

Shouldn't my attack and speed still be at +1? I thought that +1 and -1 bonuses don't decrease towards 0, it's only +2 and -2 that decrease.

Alright, this strategy will be somewhat harder to pull of but we can do it, let the Bide hit yourself and instead Dragon Dance for some extra speed and power, then use Protect on the Confuse Ray, finish up by killing Rokon with Scald

@Steampowered: Yes, I did forget about putting the boost into the "Other" section. However, it does decay, as does EVERY stat increase from a stat boosting move (I think that only certain ability increase/drops are permanent if anything). After this round, Corphish actually wouldn't have any stat increase if you hadn't used another Dragon Dance. Also, I am not sure why you said Scald would kill Rokon...
