    Brandon walked into the ASB Arena, excited to face off with one of his old friends deadfox. Still rusty from the extended time away, he knew he was in for a tough match; deadfox was one of the best around, and while neither had brought their best Pokemon, Brandon knew that deadfox would still do everything in his power to win. However, Brandon wasn't going to let that happen without a fight. "Alright, let's go Axestrike! Start us off right!"
