With a fresh Pokémon on the field, the Gym Leader orders his Venusaur to use the power of the sun itself to blast his foe. Delta retaliates with a frigid snowstorm attack, but Tanka simply smiles, and fully heals off the attack thanks to his Big Root and a Giga Drain attack, before finishing him off with a light seismic wave. A crushing blow for Jesseus, but how will he retaliate?

Energy: 100
Speed: 39
Stats: 0
Status: Fine
After a lot of switching, the battle recommences. Seeing the massive bone in Rho's hand, Sasori does the smart thing and swats it away into the mud. Granted, Rho has another one which he... Pulls... Out... of hammerspace... Yeah... And unleashes a torrent of seismic waves which batter Sasori heavily, but he still manages to inflict some damage and scare off the Marowak with a fierce Roar! The weakened Tau takes his place, but how will the battle progress from here?

IF (Counter is used) THEN (Mega Crunch instead and replace your remaining actions with Faint Attack - Pursuit)
Encore~Chill~Recover
This gets us out of here, and forces him to order first again. Unfortunately it'll leave you on lw hp and energy... Venusaur will be tough.
For a second, I was really confused and thought Jesseus was Encoring Crunch. You would not believe how freaking hot it is right now, that's my excuse. Now that I get it... DAMN, that's a nice move. Props. Must keep it in mind for myself.
Tau is back, and in a very bad position... Or is he? So impressed by the Roar he heard, Tau demands an Encore, forcing a flattered Sasori to do it again, twice, while Tau chills out. Engineer tells Sasori to snap out of it, causing him to blush embarrassedly before nomming down on Tau for critical damage! Good thing he recovered first... The Roar take effect now, and Tau returns to his Pokéball, with Rho replacing him. Jesseus has totally reversed the situation. This one could go either way folks!
Calcs:
Alakazam used Encore! (10 energy, Roar Encored 2a)
Drapion used Roar! (7 energy, Alakazam roared out)
Alakazam chilled out! (+12 energy)
Drapion used Roar! No effect! (7 energy)

Actually I did expect it, I just hoped it wouldn't happen. :p
I guess I'll switch to Alakazam.

Tau is not going down without a fight, despite being on his last legs, and he blasts Venusaur with a hideously powerful Psychic wave, followed by some kind of mind ray for almost as much damage, but he soon falls to an exploding seed and an energy sapping laser. Only in Pokémon. It's time for the final showdown folks - Engineer's Venusaur vs. Jesseus' Marowak. Who will come out on top?

Alakazam used Psychic! (crit roll: 6737 - no, drop roll: 8809 - no) (26.25 damage, 6 energy)

Alakazam is hurt by Life Orb! (2)
Venusaur used Vine Whip! (crit roll: 6810 - no) (12 damage, 2 energy)
I just realized that Venusaur actually doesn't have Mega Drain. If you could just replace that with something like Vine Whip and deduct the healing that'd be great
Alright then, let's see what we can do here.
Giga Drain - Energy Ball - Giga Drain
IF (Protective Action is used successfully) THEN (Reflect the first time, Ingrain the second, and push actions back)
IF (Marowak is in a stage of Dig when you act) THEN (Earthquake and push actions back)
