[OVERVIEW]

* Alomomola's greatest role is acting as a pivot, taking physical hits and passing on Wishes to teammates.
* Alomomola's ability Regenerator paired with its huge HP stat allows it to have a high sustainability and act as a great wall for physical attackers.
* Alomomola has decent Defense but lackluster Special Defense.
* With Wish, Alomomola is able to take hits and heal itself back to full HP or alternatively take advantage of Regenerator and use Wish to heal up other Pokemon in your team while healing itself as well.
* Although Alomomola has a very low Special Defense stat, it can take advantage of this by using Mirror Coat, as its high HP stat allows Alomomola to take some super effective moves and fire back with huge power.
* Alomomola can wear down the opposition with moves such as Scald, Toxic, and Knock Off.
* Alomomola fits better on stall teams than on offensive teams due to its passive and momentum-draining nature, though it is also useful on balance.
* However, it can quickly become setup fodder to Pokemon with Taunt or Substitute.
* It acts as a great wall but has next to no offensive presence; this means it relies solely on utility and status to chip away at foes.

Moves
========

* Wish allows Alomomola to send Wishes to teammates, healing them, though Alomomola can use it to keep itself healthy.
* Scald is used mainly for the chip damage as well as the 30% chance to burn the target. It's useful for crippling and forcing out physical attackers, as well as wearing down Toxic-immune Pokemon.
* Protect is used for multiple reasons: it works well in conjunction with Wish, allowing Alomomola to safely heal itself; it is useful for gaining extra recovery from Leftovers; it can help scout for Choice-locked threats such as Xurkitree; it can even be used to PP stall; and it can help scout for coverage moves.
* Mirror Coat is used to KO special threats lured in that Alomomola can survive a hit from. It is most used for bringing in Mega Charizard Y and Magearna.
* Alternatively, Knock Off removes foes' items, softening them up.
* Toxic is another option that can be used to wear down foes.

Set Details
========

* Regenerator allows Alomomola to stay healthy and gives it multiple switches in to many heavy-hitting Pokemon.
* Leftovers provides gradual recovery. Leftovers with Protect usually allows Alomomola to gain a fair bit of HP back before switching out and getting its Regenerator boost.
* 64 HP EVs alongside 192 Special Defense EVs allow it to take special attacks from Pokemon such as Magearna, Latios, and Mega Charizard Y and OHKO them back with Mirror Coat.
* 252 Defense EVs with a Bold nature allow Alomomola to tank most of neutral physical hits; for example, Choice Band Excadrill's Earthquake fails to 2HKO after Leftovers.
* A more specially defensive spread of 88 HP / 168 Def / 252 SpD with a Calm nature can be used instead. With this spread, Alomomola always survives Life Orb Tapu Koko's Volt Switch and Xurkitree's unboosted Thunderbolt, allowing it to Mirror Coat against them safely.

Usage Tips
========

* Take advantage of Alomomola's ability each game by switching it in as much as possible against physical Pokemon.
* Try to keep Mirror Coat hidden on Alomomola until you are 100% sure the foe is attacking. Once revealed, Mirror Coat is a lot harder to pull off.
* Utilize Wish as much as possible to heal up the rest of your team.
* This EV spread allows Alomomola to survive Volt Switch from almost all variations of every Pokemon that uses it, so make sure to take advantage of Mirror Coat on such Pokemon.
* Be careful when using Wish or Protect against potential setup Pokemon; otherwise, Alomomola could just become setup fodder. Only use it if you're absolutely sure that the foe is not going to set up; if the foe is Choice locked, using Protect to scout for its move is very useful to help decide your next move.
* Alomomola's use of Knock Off early-game can help to clear out the items of its switch-ins. A great example of this is Chansey and its Eviolite. However, a lot of walls carry Toxic, so it's advised to use Knock Off on the switch and not one-on-one.
* If you wish to use Mirror Coat successfully during a match, you will want to keep Alomomola's HP topped up to a point of it surviving any attack.
* As Scald is very spammable, don't be afraid to spam it against physical attackers, as Regenerator will give Alomomola a majority of HP taken back.
* Keep Alomomola away from Toxic users, as it doesn't appreciate being whittled down by the damage, even if it has a partner like Lanturn that can remove the status.
* Keeping Alomomola at full HP with Wish isn't necessary, as its teammates would rather appreciate the recovery, and Alomomola has Regenerator to keep itself healthy anyway.

Team Options
========

* Alomomola fits best on stall teams due to its passive nature.
* Regenerator and Wish give Alomomola amazing synergy with other bulky Water-types that lack reliable recovery, such as Swampert and Empoleon.
* Toxapex is great for dealing with the special hits Alomomola cannot take. Toxapex also has Regenerator, meaning switching between the two to wall whatever is sent out usually ends up with no drawbacks. Toxapex has access to Toxic Spikes, potentially putting everything that Alomomola walls on a timer. Toxapex can counter some setup Pokemon with Haze, and it only takes neutral damage from Grass-type attacks. Finally, Toxapex can take on most Grass-type moves, while Alomomola can take on Earthquake users such as Excadrill, making the two an outstanding pair.
* Lanturn is a necessity, as Volt Absorb allows it to wall the Electric-type Pokemon that scare out Alomomola. It can also use Heal Bell to keep Alomomola healthy.
* Mantine is another great special wall to support Alomomola; it can use Defog to clear away entry hazards that would wear down Alomomola.
* Quagsire is great support for Alomomola, even though it is another physical wall, as it can handle most setup Pokemon. Its ability Unaware allows it to take normal damage from Pokemon that have set up. It also provides another Electric immunity and can use Earthquake to combat Electric-types.
* Swampert is another good choice thanks to its immunity to Electric.
* Azumarill works really well with Alomomola, as Sap Sipper allows it to absorb all Grass-type attacks. It also has the move Perish Song, which helps to beat Pokemon behind a Substitute that Alomomola cannot hit.
* Empoleon and Swampert can phaze Pokemon and set up Stealth Rock to help weaken the opposition. Empoleon can also be used to remove hazards with Defog. They also appreciate Wish recovery.
* Keldeo, Kingdra, Sharpedo, Gyarados, and Manaphy greatly benefit from Alomomola's Wish support to aid their sweep.
* Mega Slowbro also benefits highly from Alomomola's support, as Calm Mind + Iron Defense Mega Slowbro can check setup sweepers as well as capitalize on Alomomola's use of Knock Off. For example, it is a lot more likely Mega Slowbro will beat Chansey at +6 if it does not have its Eviolite.
* Tapu Fini does not get any form of recovery, so Wish support from Alomomola is greatly appreciated. Make sure to take note of Misty Terrain, as you will not be able to status grounded Pokemon with Alomomola while it is up. On the other hand, Pokemon will not be able to status Alomomola and spamming Knock Off will become easier.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* Physically defensive Alomomola with Rocky Helmet and Toxic or Knock Off instead of Mirror Coat is another option that can check physical attackers a lot better.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Electric-types**: Electric-types such as Z-Hypnosis and Tail Glow Xurkitree are able to fully set up on Alomomola. The Special Defense EVs will not allow Alomomola to survive any STAB Thunderbolts, and many Electric-types are specially offensive, exploiting Alomomola's lower Special Defense.

**Grass-types**: Grass-types such as Choice Band Tapu Bulu can get burned and still beat Alomomola with Horn Leech and Grassy Terrain in a one-on-one situation. Other Grass-types such as Cradily have Storm Drain to counter Alomomola; have a secondary Poison typing, such as Mega Venusaur, that makes them immune to Toxic; or can use Leech Seed to wear down Alomomola, such as Ferrothorn.

**Wallbreakers**: While Alomomola can beat a lot of physical attackers, some wallbreakers such as Choice Band Diggersby and Dragonite can run right through it. Alomomola can also burn them early-game for an easier time, though special attackers aren't particularly bothered by burns.

**Stallbreakers**: Any Pokemon that carries Taunt or Substitute and a setup move, such as Gliscor, Mew, or Mega Sableye, is the biggest threat to Alomomola. This limits its options to just Scald, which isn't especially strong, and even that fails to burn foes behind a Substitute.

**Setup Sweepers**: Setup sweepers with Swords Dance, Bulk Up, Calm Mind, Quiver Dance, or Nasty Plot are a huge issue for Alomomola, especially specially attacking ones and those can hide behind a Substitute.

[Set Details]:
* 252 Defense EVs with a Bold nature allow Alomomola to tank most of neutral physical hits, such as Choice Band Excadrill's (not sure which move) fails to 2HKO after Leftovers.
+ Would assume you mean Earthquake here? Since it has a 20.7% chance to 2HKO After Leftovers and Alomomola can just Protect afterwards for even more recovery.

[Usage Tips]:
* As Scald is very spammable, don't be afraid to spam it against physical attackers, as Regenerator will give you a majority of it back.
+ Give what back? Alomomola prefers to take some damage as a trade in using Scald to get burns as Regenerator helps recover back much of its health.
+ Add that Alomomola should be kept away from users that tend on poisoning it with Toxic. Even if Alomomola has Lanturn as its partner it still doesn't appreciate being inflicted by it.

[Team Options]:
* Keldeo, Kingdra, Sharpedo, and Gyarados greatly benefit from Alomomola's Wish support to aid their sweep.
+ Add Manaphy too.
+ Add Swampert being another good choice for Electric-type immunity.

[Checks and Counters]:
+ How does Xurkitree set up on Alomomola? Z-Hypnosis + Tail Glow.
+ When discussing Z-moves, be specific on what notable threats utilize Z-moves that Alomomola should be wary of.

[OVERVIEW]

* Alomomola's greatest role is acting as a pivot, taking physical hits and passing on Wishes to teammates.
- Its role should be somewhere near the top, this is way too low. Consider combining it with the first bullet.
* Alomomola fits better on stall teams than on offensive teams, though it is also useful on balance.
- Why? Expand on this because this seems like a Team Options bullet. Mention how passive it can be, killing momentum.

Usage Tips

* Be careful when using Wish or Protect against potential setup Pokemon; otherwise, Alomomola could just become setup fodder.
- Expand on this, when to use Protect is a very essential bullet. Make it clear that there is almost no harm in going for Protect if you're absolutely sure the foe's not going to set up. If against a Choice-locked foe, Protect is crucial for scouting the move it chooses to go for. For example, if against a Choice Scarf Xurkitree, don't switch in your Electric-immune Pokemon immediately, as it may go for Energy Ball. Go for Protect to scout first.
- Make a bullet about how it isn't necessary to get healed up by your Wishes even if you're not at maximum HP. Most teammates greatly appreciate receiving Alomomola's Wishes and Alomomola can heal itself up through Regenerator anyway.

Team Options

* Regenerator and Wish gives Alomomola amazing synergy with other bulky Water-types.
- Especially those without reliable recovery such as Empoleon and Swampert.
- Make another blanket statement about fitting best on stall teams.
- Mention the type synergy in the Toxapex bullet, Toxapex can take most Grass-type moves and Alomomola beats most Earthquake users such as Excadrill. You also (lol) keep saying 'also' which gets kinda repetitive, change the wording a bit.
