Arena: Typing Inversion Chamber II
All moves are allowed. At the end of each round, a random type is chosen to be inverted, which reverses weaknesses and resistances except for immunities with retain their immunity. Abilities that cause a weakness to the chosen type will retain the weakness, while the same holds true for abilities that grant resistances as well. If a type is chosen twice in a row, the move effectiveness on that type will return to normal.

Team Engineer:

Roobushin (Benkei) (M)
NATR: Adamant (Atk increased by *, Sp.A decreased by *)

Type: Fighting
Fighting STAB; ignore weight restrictions of throwing/grappling moves. Superior reaction time in close quarters.

ABILITIES
Guts: (Innate) This Pokemon is tenacious and will work ever harder when under a status condition, raising the base attack power of all its physical attacks by two (2). Pokemon with Guts ignore the attack drop from burn.
Sheer Force: (Can be Enabled) This Pokemon can energize all its attacks with secondary effect chances less than 100%. When Enabled, the Base Attack Power of every move with an effect chance less than 100% increases by two (2), but they will never have a secondary effect.
Iron Fist (Unlocked): (Innate) The Base Attack Power of this Pokemon’s “Punch” attacks is increased by two (2). (Known attacks effected: Bullet Punch, Comet Punch, Dizzy Punch, Drain Punch, Dynamicpunch, Fire Punch, Focus Punch, Hammer Arm, Ice Punch, Mach Punch, Mega Punch, Meteor Mash, Shadow Punch, Sky Uppercut, Thunderpunch)

Alakazam (Tensai) (M)

NATR: Naive (+15% Speed, Accuracy increased by 22% [21.89%], Special Defense decreased by *)

Type: Psychic
Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

ABILITIES
Synchronize: (Innate) Pokemon with this ability mentally link their condition to an opposing Pokemon and pass on any status inflicted on them to their foe. Due to their body structure, Poison-types cannot be poisoned and Fire-types cannot be burned in this manner.
Inner Focus: (Innate) When an opponent attempts to flinch this Pokemon, it stands firm and continues its attack. If it has another ability that would be activated by flinching, that ability activates.
Magic Guard (Unlocked): (Innate) This Pokemon is infused with a powerful psycho-electric energy that makes it immune to damage from Spikes, Stealth Rock, Hail, Sandstorm, Leech Seed, Poisoning, and Burn. It can still attack itself in confusion, but will not take any damage from it. Additionally, the energy protects the Pokemon from its own reckless recoil attacks. Toxic still increases in damage each round, although if Magic Guard is in effect the Pokemon will not suffer any damage. Life Orb recoil is not negated.

Abilities:
Levitate(Trait): This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading the Ground moves Bulldoze, Earthquake, Fissure, and Magnitude. Otherwise Dig and Dive will miss. Ground moves can still hit. Levitate Pokemon will retain the Levitate trait when they use Skill Swap on an enemy, and will steal the opponent's ability (the user can specify if they want a foe or ally to gain Levitate from a Skill Swap.) If a Pokemon with Levitate uses Role Play, they will copy the opponent's abilities and retain Levitate.

"Tensai, they're going after you, huh? I guess they'll have to be satisfied with disappointment."

Benkei: [Sheer Force] Fire Punch (Theodore) - MEGA FOCUS PUNCH (Theodore) - cooldown / Low Kick (Theodore)
Tensai: Skill Swap (Theodore Snow Cloak / Tensai Inner Focus) - Encore (Nakaya) - Psychic (Theodore)

In this All-Star caliber battle, a Gym Leader goes toe to toe with the instigator of ASB's most unique recent event, the Ultimate Showdown!

Enough with the pleasantries, try to call the match instead!

Fine, fine... We start with a selection of pure ice types for Glacier Knight, Theodore the Beartic and Nakaya the Cryogonal, put against Tensai the Alakazam and Benkei the Conkeldurr, sent out by Engineer Pikachu.
Engineer starts the match with a favorite tactic of his, Skill Swap shenanigans! Alakazam gains a precious Hail immunity while giving up Inner Focus, and that was a smart move, since Nakaya calls forth a massive Hail storm with a mesmering dance. Theodore then strikes Tensai with a Dark-imbued claw, but is answered by a boosted Fire Punch right in the gut!
Tensai apparently loved Nakaya's dance, since he requested an Encore, and the snowflake is happy to oblige. Another, less welcome, encore is given by Theodore, who again strikes with a ghostly claw. In the resulting confusion, nobody paid any attention to Benkei, who had been collecting his focus for a MEGA FOCUS PUNCH. Now it's too late to stop the constructing carny, who unleashes his strike at Theodore for massive damage! Tensai then finishes what's left of the bear with a Psychic attack, while his teammate cools down and Nakaya keeps on dancing.

The arena then activates itself, inverting the Normal type! That's... not very exciting.
