Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
If an Evasive damaging move is used, replace your action with Thunderbolt+Thunder-wave Combo. If Weavile is paralyzed, make that Power gem + Weather Ball Instead.
With Arcanine defeated, TRG sends out his second pokemon: lasfirlan the Weavile. Of course, I won't remember such a name so I'll call it....fluffy.
And Fluffy starts the battle by calling Cloud an overrated character ?! He said that Sephiroth sucks and is still ten times cooler! Dear god! Such true yet harsh words! Cloud was taunted! As he was so mad that he couldn't even fire a Thunder Wave!
And Fluffy isn't done, he powers up an Ice Punch for CRITICAL damage, escaping Static in the process, while Cloud evokes the power of the sand to create a Weather Ball that smashes the Weavile with its rocky awesomeness.
Finally, Fluffy Fake outs Cloud, flinching him. But the Cyclohm leaves a parting gift, as static páralyses Fluffy.
Weavile: Taunt for 9 energy - taunted for 6 actions
-2hp due to sand
Cyclohm: Thunder Wave for 6 energy - failed
Weavile: Ice Punch: 8 + 3 + 2.5 + 3 = 16.5*1.5 = 24.75 damage for 5 energy
Crit: 1/16 (yes)
Static: 38/100 (no)
-2hp due to sand
Cyclohm: Weather Ball: 10 + 3 = 13*1.5 = 19.5 damage for 6 energy
Crit: 4 (no)
Weavile: Fake Out: 4 + 2.5 + 3 = 9.5 damage for 4 energy
Static: 25 (yes)
Crit: 1 (yes)
Weavile was Paralysed!
-2hp due to sand
Sandstorm for 2 more rounds (sorry about that, I thought weather lasts for 5 rounds...it turns out that it lasts for 4, so only this round and one more of sand!)
Round Will Count At The End
And Fluffy starts this round by showing that regardless of paralysis he is still a fast sonuvagun. His throws several Ice Shards at Cloud to show who is the boss. If that actually worked is a different question, though. The Cyclohm, in the other hand, counters with Double Team to create 3 clones that will surely make fluffy's life miserable coupled with paralysis and a little bit of hax. I don't know, I just feel it.
And to entice fluffy to try and find him, Cloud absorbs the power of the sand to fire yet another rocky Weather Ball at the Weavile. Fluffy takes some time to recover from the blow and tries to attack the real Cyclohm with Ice Punch, but it hit a clone!.
Not giving up, Fluffy tries again with Ice Shard and the valiant weavile finally manages to...miss again and hit a clone. Tough luck! Cloud seizes the opportunity and fires another Weather Ball to end the round.
It seems that Fluffy is not a lucky fella!
Turn 1:
Weavile: Ice Shard: (4 + 3 + 2.5)*1.5= 14.25 damage for 3 energy
Paralysis: 92 (no)
Crit: 12 (no)
-2hp due to sand
Cyclohm: Double Team: 3 clones for 12 energy
Turn 2:
Cyclohm: Weather Ball: 10 + 3 = 13*1.5 = 19.5 damage for 6 energy
Crit: 10 (no)
Weavile: Ice Punch: (8 + 3 + 2.5)*1.5 = -1 clone for 5 energy
Paralysis: 71 (no)
Hit (1/4 = yes): 3 (clone)
-2hp due to sand
Turn 3:
Weavile: Ice Shard: (4 + 3 + 2.5)*1.5= -1 clone for 3 energy
Paralysis: 92 (no)
Hit (1/3 = yes): 3 (clone)
Crit: 6 (no)
-2hp due to sand
Cyclohm: Weather Ball: 10 + 3 = 13*1.5 = 19.5 damage for 10 energy
Crit: 7 (no)
You do have a clone. Why do you think I posted Cyclohm's sprite twice?
Anyway, on a normal day I would post an entire reffing with flavor and whatnot. BUT I have like 10 minutes before class and this seems like a fast round, so here goes the abridged version:
HP: 31
EN: 71
Other: Paralysed (15%)
VS
Team Arcanite
HP:56
EN:51
Other:
Cyclohm: Power Gem: (7+3)*1.5 = 15 damage for 5 energy
Crit: Won't make a difference
Weavile: Combo Revenge + Revenge.
Paralysis: 58 (no)
Hit (1=Real/2=Clone) = 2 (Clone
Defeated the Clone for (8 + 12)*1.75 = 35 energy
-2hp due to Sand
Cyclohm: Weather Ball: (10 + 3)*1.5 = 19.5 damage for 7 energy
Crit: No Difference
FINALLY NO MORE DAMAGING WEATHER SHENANINGANS! I CAN BE HURT TOO, YOU KNOW!
Also:
ENOUGH WITH CLONES, I WANT MY MONEY <_<.
But I digress.
Anyway, Cloud, seeing that it worked before, creates three clones with Double Team for the joy of his opponent and this UC-hungry ref. VonKarma, the evil bastard he is, tries to Toxic the dragon, but, to add insult to injury, misses completely. That is right! it missed even the clones!. Bad luck!
Cloud Strife seizes the opportunity and starts part 2 of plan "(meteo)rain on Vankarma's parade". But it failed, as the thunder missed. Probably because Cloud can't actually use meteo. lol. I wonder why it tries to beat the classics. Oh well.
Oh, while I was babbling, Seviper tried to Venoshock the opposition. Which hit. If you consider "opposition" the clone and not the real thing, of course.
Finally, the Cyclohm aborts the operation and goes old fashioned with Thunderbolt (Thundaga?) hitting a critical spot on the process. Seviper tries to fight back with Poison Jab, but it once again (Arcanite you lucky bastard) hit a clone.
I swear this seems like friggin' Star Wars with all the clones!
Cyclohm: Double team (this is getting old way too fast >_<): 3 clones for 12 energy
Seviper: Missed completely for 6 energy.
Hit: 96 (nothing! not even a clone >_<)
Cyclohm: Thunder: 12 + 3 + 4.5 = missed for 7 energy
Hit: 96 (what a coincidence, it missed too!)
Seviper: Venoshock: 7 + 3 + 3 = -1 clone for 7 energy
Clone wars (1 = true): 2 (clone)
