OK, so, some changes here:
1) the reffing 202 battle changed. check the rules. it is now 7vs7 triples. But that isn't the bad part of it... Also, I doubled the mentor compensation from 5uc to 10uc. because seriously, 202 is some insane mental work -_-
2) White-Listed players that AREN'T on the reffing 202 tutor list can only get mentorings to do if their license is within 45 days away from expiring. Or if I call them (tag them) in this thread. The reason is simple: tutors are picked based on the people I feel can convey the information, not only know it. So being white-listed is not guarantee that you will be a good tutor. Since the white-list is increasing in size, I better do this to ensure some quality. If the white-listed person tutors someone, it is mostly so I can see if you are still up to date and still you are to be evaluated on how well you can play tricks.

deadfox081 is the new reffing program manager. We thank jayelt413 for applying too, but we needed someone with more experience as a ref and willing to be extra harsh if needed. Also, longer period here and involvement on policy is better, since many rulings come from policy discussions.
deadfox081 is responsable for picking mentors, white-listing people and managing the white-list, including the validity of the licenses.
Finally, the manager is not obligated to mentor 202s to renew their license. Although he will probably mentor a lot regardless <_<;.

Thanks to Frosty for allowing me to take this on. I'll try my best to run it with the same tough but fair spirit he has to date. With that in mind I have a couple of points I'd like to make note of for anyone involved in the Reffing 202 program either currently or looking to take it in the future.
- Only those people listed as Tutors in the OP hide tag about Reffing 202 should be accepting jobs as Tutors, those who are white-listed to self ref need only take on tutoring jobs if they are contacted by me in order to renew their license. Basically having the skill set to pass the program does not necessarily mean you have the skill set to teach it.
- Anyone who has followed my thoughts on reffing in the past would be aware that I strongly believe flavour should be mandatory on all serious reffing jobs. This means Gym, Tournament and yes, Reffing 202 battles. Flavour need not be a novel, it can be as simple as a narrative telling of the actions that round, some snide and somewhat snarky commentary from an impartial referee about the events of the round or a conversation between the referee and one of their Pokemon as many have used to good effect. Those who have passed Reffing 202 are to be held up as the best referees ASB has to offer and should display this throughout their training and especially after. That is to say, if you do not provide flavour in your 202 match and the accompanying Gym/Tournament/whatever reffing then do not expect to pass the program. I have ONE slot for people interested on it. I will run it once and if/when I am satisfied with the result, I will open the floodgates for the others.
Also I will need someone to ref it. I am not insane to ref it myself.
Any takers? The offer will be open for 48h. After that period I will handpick one volunteer from the bunch based on who I think should be able to be a good guinea pig (decent enough, follows DQ etc). If no one gets interested after that period then I suppose I will postpone it? Or extend the deadline idk.

Strict 96h Disqualification. One warning per player. If pupil gets DQ'd twice, he can be kicked out by tutor. If tutor is DQ'd twice pupil may ask for replacement.
2 Recoveries / 5 Chills per Pokémon.
Three Substitutions per player excluding KO Substitutions.
Switch = OK
Abilities = ALL
Items = ON
Mega: One
Sendout = Tutor sends out first.
Pupil PMs Tutor, which gets the battle started (either looks for a ref or refs it himself, regardless of being white-listed or not). Then a battle is played. The twist is: any and every move made by pupil must be justified. Up to and including the pokemon sent. And if the Tutor doesn't accept the justification or knows of an action-set that accomplishes the same more efficiently, he may demand the pupil to reorder, resend the team, send out a different pokemon or a different item, or to explain further his strategy, until the tutor is satisfied. Yes, this means that "surprise" won't be a good strategy to use here, simply because of how unreliable that is. The tutor won't need to justify whatever, so surprise remains a good option for him.
Terrible repetitive plays from the pupil may cause the tutor to call a DQ, with the approval of the Manager of the course. This program is for mildly experienced players. If you don't much idea of how things work, then the best way to fix it is with practice, not this program. Same way: if you are bringing your A-Game, then why bother?
After taking this course, there is a 4-week cooldown before any other battling 202 course can be taken.
Payment: Tutor gets standard prizes for mons (and for reffing if that is the case) as well as 18UC for the tutoring. Pupil gets standard counters

Can I ask for a sub-tutor on this? I've been in battling 101 for so long that I've progressed way beyond it. I'd like to get this done with eventually and I've been having to wait for long periods of time, several times, with over-a-week long gaps happening very often.
