"So here we are in ASB Tournament Arena/Stadium. This is Round 1. Roosevelt and Hatchet Intimidate the opponents. Hatchet then uses a speedy Tailwind. Dogfish44 shouts an order of "ROCK SLIDE"! His mons look at him, confused. He says, "COME ON, ALL OF YOU!" They understand, and use a Triple Rock Slide. But first, Roosevelt erects a Protective wall around itself, deflecting the barrage of rocks. Ike gets "flinched" twice, so it gets +2 Speed. Thanks to Inner Focus, it then uses a Close Combat on Teresa, and the dragon is hurt.

Then, Ike moves first and uses an Aura Sphere on Teresa, striking a critical hit! But then dogfish44 shouts to his Pokemon: "HEAT WAVE!" Short Fuse looks confused, for it does not know Heat Wave. Dogfish then says, "Not you, THEM!" Teresa and Rawk then unleash Heat Waves, and this time Roosevelt is not protected. Roosevelt has his own plans, however, and Dragon Claws Teresa, stacking on the damage. Short Fuse then sends an Ice Punch at Roosevelt, damaging the dragon. Hatchet then uses an Aura Sphere on Teresa, but she SURVIVES WITH ONE HP!

End Round 1, and dogfish44 has dealt a lot of spread damage, but jas61292 has used single targeting to pick off Pokemon one by one. Will it work, or will dogfish44 ultimately win with spread attacks?"

"Welcome back to the ASB Team Tournament, Finals Triples battle. This is Round 2.

jas61292 begins by having Roosevelt erect a Protective wall around itself. Hatchet erects a Protective wall around Ike. Then, Ike uses a Flash Cannon on Rawk. "Round three, here we come.

First, Hatchet uses a swift Quash to keep Rawk from attacking until the very end. Roosevelt then Aqua Tails Rawk. Ike has not moved yet, signaling that it is trying to do something very big. Short Fuse uses an Ice Punch on Roosevelt for some damage, and the newly sent-in Nimbus summons a Thunderbolt out of the sky and onto Hatchet. Hatchet, however, miraculously hangs on with 2 HP remaining. Rawk still doesn't move, as it must wait for Ike. And Ike finally moves with a Focus Smash combo, on Rawk. Looks like Rawk won't be moving this round at all.

Hatchet then speedily takes its remaining 2 HP and converts it into a 20-HP package, sending it at Lucario. This is Healing Wish. It sure is broken when you have 1 or 2 HP left. But I digress. Ike cools down, and Roosevelt flies into the air. Short Fuse drops a Rock Slide, hitting Ike for ONE DAMAGE, and Nimbus unleashes a Blizzard, but again it only hits Ike for mediocre damage. Roosevelt then uses Fly on Short Fuse.

Round end, and jas61292 has established a solid advantage. But now dogfish44 has Tailwind all to himself. What happens next?"

You guys kicked out the old ref..? *gulp* Here we go then, round four:

jas61292 sends out Squishy, making its premiere in this tournament. It quickly uses its Imposter ability to duplicate Dogfish44's Short Fuse. Squishy then shoots out blue sparks towards Ike with Helping Hand, boosting the power of Ike's Bonemerang. This deals some pretty good damage to the real Short Fuse, though not enough to make it faint. In retaliation, Short Fuse launches a Shock Wave at Roosevelt, putting it dangerously close to fainting. Nimbus seals the deal with Ice Beam, causing poor Roosevelt to crash and faint before it can move. Murena then finishes the counter assault by scorching Squishy with Flamethrower.

With one enemy down, Dogfish44's team gets ready for a second bout of offense. Electivire ironically mimics its duplicate, and shoots a Helping Hand towards Nimbus. Ike can sense something coming, and attempts to dodge the oncoming onslaught with Detect, though it looks really tired from doing so. Squishy shoots a Taunt at Nimbus, daring it to attack, while Murena rains a Rock Slide down on Squishy and Ike, although Ike manages to dodge the attack. Finally, Nimbus unleashes a devastating Earthquake+Earthquake. Squishy takes a huge hit from the attack, and though both Murena and Ike dodge it, Short Fuse it hit by the attack as well, and faints.

Dogfsih44 only has two Pokemon left, but jas61292 is down to his last three Pokemon with two severely weakened. This is gonna be close!

Down his last three pokemon, jas61292 sends out Blaster, who quickly scans its opponents and boosts its Special Attack with Download!

Ike, about to faint from exhaustion, chills out. Squishy and Blaster provide cover for their teammate, and use Psychic on Nimbus and Blizzard respectively. Murena attacks Squishy with Flamethrower, while Nimbus cools down from its attack last round.

All of a sudden, Squishy sends a huge Helping Hand+Helping Hand at Ike, and while it had enough energy to make sure the attack worked, it still fainted using it. Ike then uses Me First to steal a Dragon Pulse Nimbus, and with the power that Squishy sent it, manages to knock out Nimbus. Blaster shoots a Tri Attack at Murena, which Murena counters with a Thunderbolt that paralyzes Blaster!

This match is winding down, as the number of Pokemon on both sides is low.

Yeah, Objection got a ruling from Deck & Pwnemon was correct. Here was the post he made before I cleaned up this thread:

In other words, as much as I hate to do this to my teammate, Pwnemon is right.

On a slightly related note, Deck actually wasn't aware that Helping Hand combos were legit until I pointed out that HH is CT Passive.
I do not need these battle threads filled up with pointless bickering either, otherwise, carry on as normal. jas61292 is up.

Ike, dangerously close to fainting again, has to Chill out and recover some energy. Meanwhile, Murena fires another Flamethrower, this time at Ike, while Blaster... blasts... Murena with an incredibly powerful Hyper Beam that is boosted by all three of its abilities. Damn.

Ike continues the offense with a powerful Bonemerang on Murena, and Blaster attempts to as well, but freezes up from paralysis. Murena, done charging its attack, shoots out a completely unrealistic Flamethrower+Hyper Beam that I'm baffled worked, and almost manages to faint Ike. It looks really tired after that attack though, and running low on both HP and energy...
