[OVERVIEW]

Azumarill is blessed with a strong STAB combination and Huge Power to boost its Attack to about as much as base 149, making it one of the best offensive Pokemon in Doubles OU. In addition, with its solid bulk, typing, and access to priority in Aqua Jet, Azumarill stands as the best and only viable Belly Drum sweeper in the metagame. It works well as a bulky Water-type for teams that also appreciate offensive presence, something that other bulky Water-types such as Suicune and Rotom-W lack. In spite of these good traits, Azumarill does possess low Speed, and it is threatened by common Grass- and Electric-types such as Rotom-W and Breloom. Also, as it is a physical attacker, it is susceptible to burns and Intimidate.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
Belly Drum is a high-risk, high-reward move that maximizes Azumarill's Attack and, combined with Aqua Jet, can be deadly. Aqua Jet helps with Azumarill's poor Speed thanks to priority and turns it into a reliable sweeper; a +6 Aqua Jet can OHKO most Pokemon that take neutral damage from it, Metagross and Aegislash being notable exceptions. Play Rough is Azumarill's best Fairy-type STAB move and strongest STAB move overall. Lastly, Protect stalls out field effects and protects Azumarill from its partner's spread moves. It also buys time for its partner to attack

Set Details
========
The EVs and an Adamant nature give Azumarill the most overall bulk and most attacking prowess possible. Sitrus Berry improves Azumarill's longevity and acts as recovery for Belly Drum's HP cut. If Azumarill is being used on a Trick Room team, it should be running a Brave nature and a 0 Speed IV to minimize its Speed.

Usage Tips
========
Azumarill works best late-game against weakened teams when it can clean up with Aqua Jet. However, avoid switching it into incoming attacks, as otherwise Azumarill will not have enough HP to use Belly Drum. It should only use Belly Drum if Electric-, Steel-, and Grass-type checks have been removed, when there is a teammate with Fake Out or redirection moves on the field, when foes can't threaten or KO it with 75% of its health remaining, or if a double-protect is predicted. Once its checks are removed, Azumarill can go on a rampage and wipe out entire teams with Aqua Jet and Play Rough. After setting up a Belly Drum, Azumarill becomes one of the opponent's primary targets, which you can often take advantage of. By having Azumarill use Protect to soak up hits and switching its partner out to a Pokemon with redirection moves or Fake Out on the same turn, Azumarill is able to better threaten the opposing team on the following turn. Lastly, Azumarill can beat common Intimidate users such as Landorus-T and Scrafty, but it doesn't appreciate the Attack drop from Intimidate.

Team Options
========
Fake Out support can give Azumarill a free turn to set up Belly Drum. Some common Fake Out users include Mega Kangaskhan and Scrafty. Pokemon that can hit Electric-, Grass-, and Steel-types super effectively such as Landorus-T and Kyurem-B are good partners that can cover up Azumarill's weaknesses. Mega Diancie and Kyurem-B are particularly good partners for checking common Electric / Flying type Pokemon such as Zapdos and Thundurus. Heatran and Talonflame are good partners for checking Ferrothorn, which completely counters Azumarill. Heatran can also absorb Will-O-Wisps for Azumarill, allowing it to avoid possible burns. Azumarill can also function on a Trick Room team, where it can work with setters such as Cresselia. Mew can provide Fake Out support to help set up Belly Drum, then it can transform into Azumarill, copying its stats and pressuring the opponent by forcing them to face two +6 Azumarills. Azumarill also enjoys Pokemon with status moves, as paralysis and sleep can help Azumarill set up and sweep. Follow Me or Rage Powder support is also crucial when using Belly Drum, as these moves redirect redirects attacks and give Azumarill time to set up. Amoonguss has great synergy with Azumarill, as it can spread status and has access to Rage Powder. Jirachi is also a good teammate, as it can redirect Grass-type attacks, unlike Amoonguss.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
Assault Vest can be used to make Azumarill a bulky pivot rather than an all-out attacker, but it comes at the cost of less power and the ability to run Protect. Choice Band can also be used so that Azumarill can run additional coverage moves such as Superpower and Knock Off, but it leaves Azumarill vulnerable because it can't run Protect or switch moves. Life Orb can be used over Choice Band to have the ability to change moves, but it comes at the cost of losing HP each turn. Aqua Tail can be used over Waterfall at the cost of accuracy and the flinch chance. Azumarill can also run Helping Hand to aid its partner. Lastly, a set with Sitrus Berry and three attacking moves is also an option.

Checks and Counters
=============
**Typing Advantage**: Venusaur, Amoonguss, and Ferrothorn all resist Azumarill's STAB attacks and can either cripple it with status or take it down with Grass-type attacks. Pokemon running Grass-type coverage moves can also check Azumarill. For instance, Mega Charizard Y can weaken Water-type attacks with Drought and OHKO Azumarill with Solar Beam. Electric-types such as Zapdos and Thundurus can also take out Azumarill quite easily. Other bulky Water-types such as Suicune can wall Azumarill and burn it with Scald. Rotom-W gets a special mention, as it resists Aqua Jet and can hit Azumarill with its Electric-type attacks or simply neuter it with Will-O-Wisp.

**Intimidate and Burns**: Common Intimidate users such as Landorus-T and Gyarados, as well as common Will-O-Wisp users such as Gengar and Rotom-W, can cripple Azumarill. However, most common Intimidate users are weak to Azumarill's STAB attacks, and previous Attack drops won't matter after Azumarill uses Belly Drum.

when you have Slow speed, but access to the priority move Aqua Jet

Overview
  • you could also say that azumarill is a good addition on teams that want a bulky water type but dont need the support from/are held back by the lack of offensive poweress from other bulky waters i.e. suicune, rotom-w
  • azumarill is not walled by electric types, electric doesnt even resist water. sure its threatened offensively by them but walled is not the right word:
  • +6 148+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Aqua Jet vs. 244 HP / 108 Def Thundurus: 322-379 (89.4 - 105.2%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO
  • +6 148+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Aqua Jet vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Zapdos: 316-373 (82.2 - 97.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Megabus Usage Tips
  • "It should only Belly Drum if Electric-, Steel- or Grass-type checks have been removed" you can also add on to this by saying that you should also only bd when there is a fake out using/redirecting teammate on the field
  • you can remove steel, the only steel that resists both of azumarills stabs is ferrothorn and that already falls under grass types
Megabus Team Options
  • "Pokemon that can hit Electric-, Grass-, and Steel-types super effective" like what?? some examples need to be given.
  • heatran or talonflame beats ferrothorn, amoonguss, and other grass or steel types
  • landorus-t or kyurem-b beats zapdos and thundurus, which pressure azumarill offensively
  • mew should probably be added lol. provides fake out support and then transforms into azumarill
  • amoonguss is the best redirector for azumarill thanks to their typing synergy but jirachi is also a cool option because amoonguss cant redirect grass types
Choice Band Moves
  • slash knock off as the last mmove on slot 4, its good to dish out neutral damage so its not a bad move to be locked into
Choice Band Team Options
  • heatran doesnt need trick room to pair well with azumarill, you can just say that it pairs well with it in or out of tr
  • mega camerupt is also a good aprtner when it comes to trick room
Other Options
  • add safety goggles for the purpose of ignoring rage powder and spore immunity, makes amoonguss a lot less of a threat
Checks & Counters
  • grass types and bulky water types should be lumped into the same tag of **Typing Advantage**
  • status and intimidate should both be **Intimidate and Burns**, scrap mentions of paralysis and toxic (paralysis would go under speed control, but azumarill isnt weak to that, and toxic is just plain irrelevant)
  • honestly just rewrite **Intimidate and Burns**. say that burns make it a lot less of a threat, and gyarados / lando weaken it if its not bd
  • remove the "faster pokemon" bullet; the most prevalent azumarill set is bd and anything that is faster, somewhat frail, and doesnt resist water will die to +6 aqua jet
  • remove the "residual damage" bullet

tag me when u implement

"It should only Belly Drum if Electric-, Steel- or Grass-type checks have been removed" you can also add on to this by saying that you should also only bd when there is a fake out using/redirecting teammate on the field
misleading, since you most definitely should BD when the opposing side can't really touch azu, for example the opponent has a hydreigon and idk a cresselia out.

so basically it should read:
BD if:
- opp does not have grass, steel, or electric type out (note that of those 3, only grass resists water)
- you can succesfully buy a free turn such as when you have a fake out user or follow me user
- the opponent has 2 mons out that can't do a lot of damage to azu

Do not BD if:
- none of the other situations are present

Possible BD if:
- you predict a double protect (see: Fake Out user for possible double protect scenarios)

Overview
  • Don't mention coverage options like Ice Punch and Superpower if you're not going to put them in at least OO. Maybe Superpower could have a place on the CB set, but I don't think Ice Punch is viable at all, especially when either +6 Aqua Jet or CB Waterfall OHKOs Lando-T anyway and Play Rough hits the Dragons that resist Water but would be hit by Ice Punch.
  • "Works well on teams that want a bulky Water-type but doesn't need the support from or isn't held back by the lack of offensive prowess from other bulky waters i.e. Suicune, Rotom-W" could be worded differently, it's a bit confusing right now. Maybe something more like "Works well as a bulky Water-type for teams that also need something with lots of offensive presence, something that other bulky waters like Suicune and Rotom-W lack."
  • Trick Room definitely deserves a mention in here somewhere
Moves
  • Bullet points should be reordered to reflect the order in the moveset
Set Details
  • Use Max HP/Max Attack like shaian suggested as the main set, put the current spread as an alternate option either at the end of this section or in OO.
  • Mention Brave/0 Speed IVs over Adamant if being used on a TR team
Team Options
  • Mention some TR setters here - Gourgeist and Gothitelle especially, since Gourgeist has great defensive synergy and Gothitelle can trap pokes that are setup bait for Azumarill, easing prediction
Other Options
  • Knock Off could deserve a mention here for a place on the Belly Drum set - I know a few people have used it to great success. Mostly for when the team is otherwise walled by Ferrothorn/Amoonguss and doesn't need Fairy-type coverage.
  • 'Amoonguss' not 'Amonnguss' ;)
Checks & Counters
  • Maybe work in something about Suicune and Rotom-W only walling an unboosted Azumarill - it OHKOs both with Play Rough at +6.

Check with a QC member before implementing!

qc. Some bullets are from thetalkingtree so you only have to read this post since i already tooksome from his

Overview
  • Condense the first three bullets into one, they just show Azu's qualities as a pokemon
  • "Most viable Belly Drum sweeper in the tier, making it a very scary offensive threat" - I'd reword this since, basically, it's the ONLY viable BD sweeper. Say what makes it a viable BD sweeper in the first place. Something like "With solid bulk and typing and access to priority in Aqua Jet, Azumarill stands as the best and only viable Belly Drum sweeper in the metagame" or w/e
  • "Decent coverage options in Ice Punch and Superpower" these aren't even in the main set so remove this.
  • "Threatened by Grass- and Electric-types" such as... (add Rotom-W here, others up to you)
  • "Works well on teams that want a bulky Water-type but doesn't need the support from or isn't held back by the lack of offensive prowess from other bulky waters i.e. Suicune, Rotom-W" could be worded differently, it's a bit confusing right now. Maybe something more like "Works well as a bulky Water-type for teams that also prefer offensive presence, something that other bulky waters such as Suicune and Rotom-W lack." -- thetalkingtree
Moves
  • Bullet points should be reordered to reflect the order in the moveset -- thetalkingtree
  • Say something about Play Rough being Azu's stronger STAB move.
  • Aqua Jet
    • "Aqua Jet helps with Azumarill's poor speed, and turns it into a reliable revenge killer." Why does it help with Azu's poor Speed? Because it's a priority move. Be sure to mention that. Also I'd mention reliable sweeper instead.
    • "It also allows Azumarill to keep it's boosts at +6 as Aqua Jet almost always hits first" Reword to something like "Lets Azumarill reliably sweep with a Belly Drum boost because priority" or w/e
Set Details
  • For now, run Max HP / Max Speed. Adjust accordingly.
  • Mention Brave/0 Speed IVs over Adamant if being used on a TR team -- thetalkingtree
Usage Tips
  • "Works best late-game on weakened opponents to revenge kill with Aqua Jet" I think you mean "clean up with Aqua Jet"
Team Options
  • "Pokemon that can hit Electric-, Grass-, and Steel-types super effective such as Landorus-T and Scrafty are good partners to cover up Azumarill's weaknesses" Mention Kyu-B instead of Scrafty lol
  • "Landorus-T and Kyurem-B are particularly good partners for checking common Electric/Flying-types such as Zapdos and Thundurus" Mention MDiancie instead of Landog.
  • Say something about burns too in the status bullet :)!
  • Mention TR users. Definitely mention Cresselia. Use thetalkingtree's other examples at your own discretion
OO
  • Mention Superpower here.
  • Knock Off could deserve a mention here for a place on the Belly Drum set - I know a few people have used it to great success. Mostly for when the team doesn't need Fairy-type coverage Azu would prefer to hit Ferrothorn and Amoonguss instead." -- thetalkingtree with an edit by le me.
  • Safety Goggles is pointless, as you said. Remove.
  • Azu is too slow to use Encore at an effective rate :( so remove that too
C+C
  • Mention Electrics such as Zapdos and Thund. Rotom-W getting a special mention is cool, mention it resists AJet too.
Ice Punch should disappear entirely. Other than that, cool, 2/3

Looks good overall. Just a few updates

Overview
  • This may not be super important but I think its a good idea to let the people reading the analyses know just about how strong Azumarill is after a huge power boost, so they can put it into perspective with other pokemon's stats. Namely modify the first phrase to "Azumarill is blessed with a strong STAB combo and Huge Power to boost its Attack stat to about as much as a base 149 Attacker," (This is what I did for reference http://prntscr.com/8uzdqa)
Set Details
  • We definitely want to mention what Azumarill can and cant OHKO with +6 Aqua Jet here since that is one of the main things its used for. Azumarill can OHKO most pokemon with +6 Aqua Jet that take it for neutral damage. Important exceptions to this from commonly used pokemon are that Mega Metagross and Aegislash can take the hit from full hp and it has a below 50% chance of getting the OHKO on Mega Kangaskhan from full hp.

    +6 252+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Aqua Jet vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Kangaskhan: 318-375 (90.5 - 106.8%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO
    +6 252+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Aqua Jet vs. 16 HP / 0 Def Mega Metagross: 223-264 (73.1 - 86.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
    +6 252+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Aqua Jet vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Aegislash-Shield: 223-264 (68.8 - 81.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Usage Tips
  • You can just add this somewhere since its kind of important: "After setting up a Belly Drum, Azumarill becomes one of the opponent's primary attack targets which means one can often take advantage of that. By smartly protecting Azumarill to soak in hits and having its partner switch out to a redirector or a Pokemon with Fake Out on the same turn, Azumarill is able to better threaten the opposing team on the following turn."

Team Options
  • A lot of new people dont know that transform copies stat changes so it would be good to say it explicitly. Namely modify "then can Transform into Azumarill for even more offensive pressure" to "then can Transform into Azumarill which copies its stat changes and puts on pressure on the following turn with the opponent staring down 2 +6 Azumarills."

Oh if you put Belly Drum in slot 3 you would make me and the people who have organized set conventions very happy ;)

Tag me when you finish this so I can do a final comprehensive look before approving for 3/3.

Overview [OVERVIEW]
######## (keep the blank line)

Azumarill is blessed with a strong STAB comboination and Huge Power to boost its Attack stat to about as much as a base 149 Attacker, making it one of the best offensive Pokemon in Doubles OU. In addition, with its solid bulk, (AC) and typing, (AC) and access to priority in Aqua Jet, Azumarill stands as the best and only viable Belly Drum sweeper in the metagame. It works well as a bulky Water-type for teams that also prefer (would change to need/appreciate) offensive presence, something that other bulky waters Water-types such as Suicune and Rotom-W lack. In spite of these good traits, Azumarill does possess low Speed, and it is threatened by (common?) Grass- and Electric-types such as Breloom and Rotom-W and Breloom. Also, being a physical attacker, its is susceptible to burns and Intimidate.

Moves

Belly Drum is a high risk, high reward move, (RC) that maximizes Azumarill's Attack, (RC) and, (AC) combined with Aqua Jet, (AC) (nice edits here) can be very deadly. Aqua Jet helps with Azumarill's poor speed due thanks to its priority, (RC) and turns it into a reliable sweeper; (SC) It also lets Azumarill reliably sweep with a Belly Drum boost because of its priority. (unnecessary) a +6 Aqua Jet can OHKO most Pokemon that take it for neutral damage from it, (AC) Metagross and Aegislash being notable exceptions Notable exceptions to this include Mega Metagross and Aegislash. Play Rough is Azumarill's best Fairy-type STAB move, (RC) and strongest STAB move overall. Lastly, Protect stalls out field effects, (RC) and protects Azumarill from it's its partners partner's spread moves. It also buys time for it's its partner to attack.

Set Details
========
The given EVs and an Adamant nature give Azumarill the most overall bulk and most attacking prowess as possible. Sitrus Berry improves Azumarill's longevity, (RC) and acts as recovery for from Belly Drum's HP cut. If Azumarill is being used on a Trick Room team, it should be running a Brave nature and a 0 Speed IVs to reduce (maybe "minimize") its Speed.

Usage Tips
========
Azumarill works best late-game on against weakened teams opponents to clean up with Aqua Jet. However, avoid switching it into (remove space) incoming attacks, as otherwise Azumarill will not have enough HP to use Belly Drum. It should also only use Belly Drum if Electric-, Steel-, and Grass-type checks have been removed, when there is a teammate with Fake Out or redirection moves using or redirecting teammate on the field, or when (when?). Azumarill should also use Belly Drum if the foes can't threaten or KO it with 75% of its health remaining, or if a double Protect is predicted. are out that can't threaten Azumarill and can't take it out with 75% of its health remaining, or if a double-protect is predicted, it should also Belly Drum. Once they its checks are removed, Azumarill can go on a rampage and wipe out entire teams with Aqua Jet and Play Rough. After setting up a Belly Drum, Azumarill becomes one of the opponent's primary attack targets, (AC) which you can means one can often take advantage of that. By having smartly protecting Azumarill use Protect to soak in hits and switching having its partner switch out to a redirector or a Pokemon with redirection moves or Fake Out on the same turn, Azumarill is able to better threaten the opposing team on the following turn. Lastly, Azumarill can beat common Intimidate users such as Landorus-T and Scrafty, but it doesn't appreciate the Attack drop from Intimidate.

Team Options
========
Fake Out support can allow give Azumarill a free turn to set-up (remove hyphen) (make sure it's two words too) Belly Drum. Some common Fake Out users include Mega Kangaskhan and Scrafty. Pokemon that can hit Electric-, Grass-, and Steel-types super effectively such as Landorus-T and Kyurem-B are good partners to cover up Azumarill's weaknesses. Mega Diancie and Kyurem-B are particularly good partners for checking common Electric(add space)/(add space)Flying-types type Pokemon (nice ^_^) such as Zapdos and Thundurus. Heatran and Talonflame are also good partners for checking Ferrothorn, which completely counters Azumarill. Heatran can also absorb Will-O-Wisps for Azumarill and avoid possible burns. Azumarill can also function on a Trick Room team, so it works with setters like such as Cresselia. Mew can provides desired Fake Out support to help set-up (remove hyphen) (two words again) Belly Drum, and then it can transform into Azumarill, copying its stats and pressuring the opponent by forcing them to face two +6 Azumarill which copies its stat changes and puts on pressure on the following turn with the opponent staring down 2 +6 Azumarills. Azumarill also enjoys Pokemon with status moves users, as paralysis and sleep can help Azumarill set up and sweep. Follow Me or Rage Powder support is also crucial when using Belly Drum, as it they redirects attacks and gives Azumarill the time to set up. Amoonguss has great synergy with Azumarill, as it can spread status, (RC) and has Rage Powder to help Azumarill set up. Jirachi is also a cool (meh) redirecting option teammate, as since it can redirect Grass-type attacks, unlike Amoonguss.

Other Options
########=============
Assault Vest can be used to make Azumarill into a bulky pivot rather than an all-out attacker, but it comes at the cost of less power and the ability to not running Protect. Choice Band could can also be used so it Azumarill can run additional coverage in moves like such as Superpower and Knock Off, but it leaves Azumarill vulnerable since because it can't run Protect or switch moves, and it also cannot switch moves. Life Orb could can be used over Choice Band to have the ability to change moves, but it comes at the cost of some HP recoil each turn. Aqua Tail can be used over Waterfall at the cost of accuracy and the flinch chance. Azumarill can also run Helping Hand to aid its partner. Lastly, a set with Sitrus Berry with and 3 three attacking moves is also an option. (period)

Checks & and Counters
########===================

**Typing Advantage**: Venusaur, Amoonguss, and Ferrothorn all resist Azumarill's STAB attacks and can either cripple it with status or take it down with Grass-type attacks. Pokemon running Grass-type coverage moves can also check Azumarill. For instance, Mega Charizard Y can weaken Water-type attacks with Drought, (RC) and OHKO Azumarill with Solar Beam Solarbeam (see notes). Electric-types such as Zapdos and Thundurus can also take out Azumarill quite easily. Other bulky Water-types such as Suicune can wall Azumarill and burn it with Scald. Rotom-W gets a special mention, (AC) as it resists Aqua Jet, (RC) and can hit Azumarill with its Electric-type attacks or simply neuter it with Will-O-Wisp.

**Intimidate and Burns**: Common Intimidate users such as Landorus-T, (RC) and Gyarados, as well as common Will-O-Wisp users such as Gengar and Rotom-W, (AC) can cripple Azumarill's attack power. However, most common Intimidate users are weak to Azumarill's STAB attacks, and previous Attack drops won't matter after Azumarill uses Belly Drum.

However, most common Intimidate users are weak to Azumarill's STAB attacks, and previous Attack drops won't matter after Azumarill uses Belly Drum.

Also, as it is being a physical attacker, it is susceptible to burns and Intimidate.

Moves
========
Belly Drum is a high-risk, high-reward move that maximizes Azumarill's Attack and, combined with Aqua Jet, can be deadly. Aqua Jet helps with Azumarill's poor Speed thanks to its priority, [rc] and turns it into a reliable sweeper; a +6 Aqua Jet can OHKO most Pokemon that take neutral damage from it, Metagross and Aegislash being notable exceptions. Play Rough is Azumarill's best Fairy-type STAB move and strongest STAB move overall. Lastly, Protect stalls out field effects and protects Azumarill from its partner's spread moves. It also buys time for its partner to attack

Set Details
========
The given [repetition of give(n)] EVs and an Adamant nature give Azumarill the most overall bulk and most attacking prowess possible. Sitrus Berry improves Azumarill's longevity and acts as recovery for Belly Drum's HP cut. If Azumarill is being used on a Trick Room team, it should be running a Brave nature and a 0 Speed IV to minimize its Speed.

Usage Tips
========
Azumarill works best late-game against weakened teams when it can to clean up with Aqua Jet. However, avoid switching it into incoming attacks, as otherwise Azumarill will not have enough HP to use Belly Drum. It should also only use Belly Drum if Electric-, Steel-, and Grass-type checks have been removed, when there is a teammate with Fake Out or redirection moves on the field, [comma > period] when Azumarill should also only use Belly Drum if the foes can't threaten or KO it with 75% of its health remaining, or if a double-protect is predicted. Once its checks are removed, Azumarill can go on a rampage and wipe out entire teams with Aqua Jet and Play Rough. After setting up a Belly Drum, Azumarill becomes one of the opponent's primary targets, which you can often take advantage of. By having Azumarill use Protect to soak in up hits and switching its partner out to a Pokemon with redirection moves or Fake Out on the same turn, Azumarill is able to better threaten the opposing team on the following turn. Lastly, Azumarill can beat common Intimidate users such as Landorus-T and Scrafty, but it doesn't appreciate the Attack drop from Intimidate.

Team Options
========
Fake Out support can give Azumarill a free turn to set up Belly Drum. Some common Fake Out users include Mega Kangaskhan and Scrafty. Pokemon that can hit Electric-, Grass-, and Steel-types super effectively such as Landorus-T and Kyurem-B are good partners to that can cover up Azumarill's weaknesses. Mega Diancie and Kyurem-B are particularly good partners for checking common Electric / Flying type Pokemon such as Zapdos and Thundurus. Heatran and Talonflame are good partners for checking Ferrothorn, which completely counters Azumarill. Heatran can also absorb Will-O-Wisps for Azumarill, [ac] allowing it to and avoid possible burns. Azumarill can also function on a Trick Room team, where it can work so it works with setters such as Cresselia. Follow Me or Rage Powder support is also crucial when using Belly Drum, as it these moves redirect attacks and gives Azumarill the time to set up. Amoonguss has great synergy with Azumarill, as it can spread status and has access to Rage Powder to help Azumarill set up [already explained]. Jirachi is also a good redirecting teammate, as it can redirect Grass-type attacks, unlike Amoonguss.

Other Options
=============
Assault Vest can be used to make Azumarill a bulky pivot rather than an all-out attacker, but it comes at the cost of less power [? you have to put something here and I assume that's what you meant] and the ability to run Protect.

=============
