viva la darmz
I can confirm that Darm-Z is indeed not very good. As an avid Darm-Z lover in XY, I used it in a lot of roles from Soundproof trapper to Regen to Fur Coat to Unaware to Prankster. When the 510 EV limit was introduced, though, it became a lot harder to use. It could really only pick either Special or Physical. I mostly used it to combat Pixilate Xern, but once that happened, it became difficult.
Then actual Aerilate users appeared and began to destroy all non-resists lol
Yeah I'm still trying to work on a niche for Darm-Z. It counters most special Contrary sets pretty well with Unaware, but that's about it. As of right now, nothing that's really worth putting on a team in my opinion.

I used it as an Unaware Quiver Dancer on a team in Gen V and it worked decently then. But, I have doubts about it being able to pull that off between the power creep and the speed creep. At the moment, as far as I know, it's pretty much one of those "this covers a very specific gap in my team's defenses" niche Pokemon, which means you won't use it on most teams.

So, I went ahead and compiled a list of speed tiers for BH. I think I went a little overboard, but data is data. The list contains everything from the viability rankings plus a few off of it I've used or seen before (because I'm just like that). Everything is listed at no EV investment and no EVs with a positive nature. And then everything offensive, or anything with the same speed as anything offensive for lazy copy and paste, gets full investment with neutral and positive natures. As well as +1 for potential Scarf sets (or Quiver Dances). Anything with common/official alternate spreads that I remembered and could find is included too. All common Shift Gear/Shell Smash users also get +2 calcs for all of their spreads.

So yeah, this is very dense information and might be a bit overwhelming. Apologies about that. I could clean it up by removing the uncommon/probably-non-existenant calculations, like Timid no investment Ytwo, but I spent way too much time crunching the numbers to prune all of that. Plus, the data is hard data that won't ever change, so it can still be useful to someone somewhere someday.

To read it, it's basically...

Speed - Pokemon (Boost EVs<insert a + here for positive nature)

So, for example, 538 - Mewtwo X, Gengar-M (+1 252) would mean that Xtwo and Mega-Gengar reach 538 speed with max EV investment, a neutral nature, and a +1 boost, likely from a Choice Scarf, Quiver Dance, Contrary V-Create, or turn of Speed Boost.

If your Pokemon or spread isn't on the list, simply plug in your EVs and nature into Showdown and find its stat then compare to the list. If you need to account for boosts, just multiple your speed by 1.5 for +1, 2 for +2, 2.5 for +3, etc. Or do the equation X = S * (B * .5 + 1), where S is your unboosted Speed and B is the number of boosts you're calculating.

Lemme know if I've missed any Pokemon or common spreads. I'm sure I did since this was a ton of data to sort and crunch. Also, there may be some inaccuracy with some +1 boosts, since I assumed the game rounded the speed values up to the nearest whole number whenever a .5 appeared on the end. If it drops the decimal, then those speeds would be a point lower which, in a few cases, may really matter.

Great resource Rumors, I can help you get some of the 0- numbers as well if you want them since negative speed tiers also are important for BH now

Some common numbers I've seen or used as well, in no particular order
94 - Chansey, Registeel, Regirock, Aggron-Mega, Audino-Mega (0 IV, -Spe)
363 - Arceus-* (216+) (Needed to outspeed Mega Ray, common on PH sets)
324 - Kyogre, Groudon (0) (+1)
432 - Kyogre, Groudon (0) (+2)

Speed tier lists are great tools to compare everything altogether. If you just want to compare two Pokemon on Showdown, though, there's a command! It's called /statcalc (no I didn't create it lol).

/statcalc aerodactyl-mega speed positive +1
gives you: Base 150 at level 100 with 31 IVs, 252+ EVs at +1: 658.

/statcalc dialga speed 0ev 0iv negative
Base 90 at level 100 with 0 IVs, 0- EVs: 166.

/statcalc registeel lvl99 speed 0ev 0iv negative
Base 50 at level 99 with 0 IVs, 0- EVs: 93.

It works with Attack and other stats, too.

I'm surprised more people don't know about it because it's really useful. If you need to quickly check, "ah what do I need to invest to outspeed Mega Gengar?" just plug it in and there you go. Overall, though, the list above is probably more helpful, as you can compare a variety of Pokemon more quickly. Either way, speed tiers are really important in BH and neglecting to use either one of these resources won't get you very far. Happy outspeeding! (outslowing? idk)

E4 Flint Sure, that'd be great!

AnybodyAgrees Added those, thanks!

AWailOfATail Statcalc would have been great to know beforehand. Would have probably saved me a lot of time from punching in all the boosted speeds to calculate them. I should use it to check my +1s for accuracy later when I'm up to spending more time on it. (Took me around 4 hours to compile it all. Eesh.) Still, a really good tool, probably best to use on the fly in the middle of a battle whereas a speed tier list would be better for team building since you get everything before you and it's easy to see if you're over or under-investing. Of course, both can be used for both, just a little less efficiently.

While it theoretically doesn't do anything that Sand doesn't already do, Hail benefits my team more than Sand would because the only things that would be immune to Sandstorm have Safety Goggles Anyway, and avoiding the SpD boost given to Rock types helps, in addition to the fact that less mons are immune to Hail compared to Sandstorm.
In truth I was actually kind of starved for ideas at the time I made the set, and I remembered an old Kektus challenge set (snow warning yveltal) and tried to make it into something remotely viable. Breaking through Gale Wings Mega Rayquaza's sash and OHKOing it before it boosts is also nice(don't try to do it if it's already boosted, it'll just ohko you)

Posting this here because it's probably more relevant to this meta than any other: Hyperspace Fury can be used by Pokemon transformed into Hoopa Unbound.

It'll be implemented next restart/update It's implemented now! But just to reiterate, the actual mechanic is things Transformed into Hoopa-Unbound can use Hyperspace Fury, and a Hoopa-Unbound Transformed into anything else cannot.

I have a pretty sick strategy for sweeping in balanced Hackmons. I call it the gambler's chuckle. If you choose to take your chances with this strategy, I'm sure you'll laugh happily at the results.

Deoxys-Attack @ Focus Sash
Ability: Contrary
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- V-create
- Explosion
- Bolt Strike
- Close Combat

Shuckle @ Quick Claw
Ability: Speed Boost
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SpD
Jolly Nature
- Belly Drum
- Agility
- Cotton Guard
- Baton Pass

Here's how it works: First, you send out Shuckle and have him belly drum. Then, you baton pass over to Deoxys-Attack. If Shuckle survives, You have won.

With Shuckle, your primary goal is to add attack stats to your deoxys as quickly as possible while surviving two turns. With the ability speed boost, it's less likely to die in the process. Also, your Deoxys will get an extra speed modifier from it.

With Deoxys, your main goal is high attack and high speed. The ability contrary, when combined with the higher-damaging moves, is perfect for boosting speed, attack, and defense.

I hope you all have as much fun with this sweeper as I have! Keep being awesome!

As kind of bad as it seems I guess this could somehow work like really late game when the opponent doesn't have many Taunt/priority mons left.

I definitely think you're using the wrong mons for this, however. Shuckle may have the highest defenses in the game, but it brings 0 offense to the table and therefore cannot win on its own, forcing it to only ever be used for this one idea. I would try a bulky normal type like Slaking that could actually use the Belly Drum boost with something like STAB Extreme Speed or something. Also, why settle for Deoxys-A when you could use Mewtwo-Mega-X? It has better bulk, STAB Close Combat, and of course a higher attack stat.

Also, Quick Claw is a terrible item for Shuckle to have (in fact, it's outright useless in every meta game), as it only has a 20% chance to work. That means 1/5 times you will actually have this good luck and be able to have success with this strategy, assuming yet again that there are no Taunts/priority mons. Not only that, but Quick Claw+Baton Pass means you let Deoxys-A take a hit on switch-in; Shuckle can afford to take the hit.

Except Chansey and other Imposter Pokemon easily turn the match into a 50/50, which isn't good for your team. Stuff like Prankster Giratina and other priority moves also destroy Deo-A, and your Shuckle is destroyed by Taunt.

All it takes to get rid of a chansey is a whirlwind. Also, if taunted, you can switch to another pokemon until you feel like trying again.

If you're not facing something with Taunt/Chansey/other random stuff that beats this, you're facing a powerful mon that can easily break Shuckle, especially after a Belly Drum. Keep that in mind when discussing how good this is.

Shuckle brings little to the table, especially when you think of using something like, say, Regigigas over it in this position (not that it's really a great niche anyway lol).
Shuckle brings:
  • Slightly more bulk
  • A resistance to Normal
Regigigas brings:
  • The ability to not lose to Taunt immediately
  • Powerful moves such as Extreme Speed that can really punch holes, especially after a Belly Drum
  • An additional win-condition after you lose a lot of your mons
Considering Mega Rayquaza, Mega Diancie, and Imposter Chansey are prevalent, Baton Pass as a whole is just going to face a thousand issues. However, if you want an effective way to use this (I would definitely not advise doing it in the first place), try using something that can deal damage itself.

1) How are you going to Whirlwind an Imposter of your boosted Deo-A away? After all, you have a +6 Deo-A breathing down your neck and Whirlwind has negative priority, so all the Pranksters in the world aren't going to save you. And if they get your Shuckle after it boosts, they can pass to their sweeper. And once they realize you have Whirlwind, they can pass to a Bouncer. Also, really, just Imposters in general.

2) Fakespeed, especially with -ates. I don't care if Deo-A is at +20, it's way too frail. (0 Atk Aerilate Mega Rayquaza Fake Out vs. +6 0 HP / 0 Def Deoxys-A: 73-87 (30.2 - 36%) -- 39.9% chance to 3HKO | 0 Atk Aerilate Mega Rayquaza Extreme Speed vs. +6 0 HP / 0 Def Deoxys-A: 145-172 (60.1 - 71.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO) And that's with 0 attack EVs on Ray, which won't happen.

3) Prankster Topsturvy, Heart Swap, Haze, and Destiny Bond all shut down the sweep.

4) Unaware, as rare as it may or may not be right now.

5) Shuckle taking a 25%+ damage hit from anything reasonably fast, particularly from special attackers since you're relying on Cotton Guard. Shuckle is 50 speed with a neutral nature. So, it gains 25 speed from every boost, going 75 > 100 > 125 > 150 > 175 > 200. At max speed, which takes six turns with Speed Boost, you outspeed... unboosted, uninvested Gyarados-Mega. Woo? So, getting hit is likely and, if the opponent outspeeds and can do at least 25% damage, you cannot Belly Drum.

6) (+6 252 Atk Deoxys-A V-create vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Fur Coat Giratina: 214-252 (42.4 - 50%) -- 0.4% chance to 2HKO) - Not bad, but Fur Coat Giratina is probably running at least some Defense investment, whether Bold nature or EVs. In any case, you still only have a .4% chance of not being stalled out of V-Create PP in this instance, at which point your Deo-A loses to Fur Coat Gira. Additionally, any Giratina with at least some defensive investment, even if just maxing HP, can survive a non-crit V-Create to phaze, if they have the moves to do so with.

And if you don't get the B. Drum passed, then Deo-A auto-loses to Giratina in almost all instances, if not every one of them.

7) Shedinja. That is all.

Not to say your idea is terrible, mind, but it does have a number of very definite flaws. Maybe you have all this covered on the rest of your team? I don't know, but it's worth pointing them all out regardless.

Passing to sash Deoxys is decent idea and can work but it needs more work to make it able to properly do its sweep and it will require heavy team support.
Shuckle isn't also the best passer, even tho it is very defensive, its typing leaves lot to desire so its better to use even eviolite furcoat chansey or gira with magic bounce, sturdinja or literally anything else cause shuckle unfortunantly won't last long with common BH threats. Shuckle's low HP also is big factor in the survival and when foes imposter copies the shuckle, oooh boy, prepare for pain.
Deo-A itself should also have an ability that will let it sweep better and have tools to foil the imposters/ates/sturdinjas, I'd recommend moldbreaker with spiky shield tossed in the set and then coverages.

But eitherway, Deo-A sweep is pretty solid when done right, as its easier to revenge when impostered and generally packs a punch, but you should aim to build further and take more common BH threats into account to make it work.

imo; you should have 2 more support/revenge ability on top of the deo-A itself and passer that takecare of imposter issues, rock issues, ate issues.
And build em to be also slightly able to sustein self and still be useful with deo-a gone.

So really, it can work, but it will be lot of work and not so simple as it might seem cause BH can be really harsh even with most common sets

With my reaching 37 on the ladder, I decided to show my team. Thanks to everyone who helped, whether by having their ideas stolen and altered, by suggestion, or by beating up my team. I'm also looking for more suggestions :)

The team
Blaziken-Mega @ Focus Sash
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- V-create
- Superpower
- Extreme Speed
- Leech Seed
V-create nukes everything while boosting my defenses. Superpower hits Flash fire mons and Diancie and increases my attack, but is a bad move if the opponent has a Chansey. Extreme speed lets me damage priority users like Rayquaza or Diancie if I'm not boosted- this is especially useful because I don't mind kings shield. Leech seed beats Shedinja reliably while hurting opposing impostors.

Mewtwo-Mega-Y @ Focus Sash
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dark Void
- Nature Power
- Psystrike
- Parting Shot
Prankster is amazing priority. Dark void hits faster mons like chansey transformed into my Blaziken, while psystrike Ko's MGar and does lots of damage to most switchins. Nature power is priority attacks, while parting shot lets me avoid Shedinja.

Rayquaza-Mega @ Lum Berry
Ability: Aerilate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Extreme Speed
- Leech Seed
- Boomburst
- King's Shield
Leech seed for Shedinja and impostors, King's Shield to stall alongside it. Boomburst hits even after kings shield drops, while extreme speed is obvious.

Giratina @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Scald
- Heal Order
- U-turn
- Leech Seed
Half my stall core. U-turn prevents whirlpool/infestation trapping, while scald liberally applies burns. It was chosen over steam explosion for the higher PP. Heal order is generic healing- really, anything will do.

Chansey (F) @ Eviolite
Ability: Imposter
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Whirlwind
- Parting Shot
- Wish
- Night Shade
whirlwind beats setup sweepers who think that they are safe behind a substitute, while Wish allows me to bring a Pokemon back from the brink Night shade hits MGar while making me immune to any impostor (Free Arceus Switchins), and parting shot prevents trapping. It also incidentally phases out magic bouncers.

Arceus-Flying @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 12 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def / 240 SpD
Impish Nature
- Facade
- Knock Off
- Shift Gear
- Leech Seed
Shift gear lets me set up on my one imposter resistant mon, while facade and knock off hit most of the tier. leech seed beats Impostor, opposing poison heal mons, and Shedinja
