• Razor Shell is Barbacle's best Water-type STAB option; it also has a 50% chance to lower the foe's Defense stat by 1
• Earthquake provides great coverage versus a lot of common Pokemon that resist Water-type moves
• Stone Edge is extremely powerful after a Shell Smash and puts a large dent in any Pokemon that doesn't resist it; however, the accuracy is an issue
• Cross Chop can be used instead of Stone Edge to hit bulkier Normal-types for super effective damage, but doesn't merit much more than that
