-Round 8 begin-

May the Hax Gods be with you, Timmetmannetje...may they follow you to your doom.

The tension is high as what seems like it would be the final round begins. To our left, the beaten and battered Dynamite, still suffering steadily from poison damage. To our right, the sneaky Criminal, who has a bad case of confusion on her hands. Who will emerge the victor? Can Dynamite KO two Pokemon before she goes down? (answer: probably not.)

Criminal looks past her confusion and gathers up her ghastly ancestral powers to form a Shadow Ball, which hits head-on, and gives Dynamite a hard time. Dynamite skids backwards and transfers her pain into purpose, shooting a Flame Burst back at the annoying ghost, singing it for a rather large chunk of damage. With the poison damage slowly accumulating, Dynamite looks like she's almost had it, but she continues to fight on, her willpower increasing with each individual hit she takes. What a gal!

As heartwarming as it is to see Dynamite up and fighting, Criminal doesn't exactly agree, so she gathers some sludge from Paris's streets and lobs a bomb of it at Dynamite, the little fox buckling under the weight of the projectile. Now with the confusion gone without a scratch, things seem really bad for Dynamite...But, what's this? Dynamite is getting back up, and harnesses enough strength to assault Criminal's mind with psychic power. The revenge! The attack even does super-effective damage!

But...we all know that all good things must come to an end. One last Shadow Ball. Few last words.

It is human nature to seek culpability in a time of tragedy. It is a sign of strength to cry out against fate, rather than to bow one's head and succumb. Inevitably, many shall fault the hands upon the sword which felled Dynamite; the Ordo Nonhaxious. But these Pokemon merely perform the duties of their Trainer; to further fear them is redundant, to hate them, heretical. Those more sensible place responsibility with those who forced the hand of these Pokemon. With some fortune, they may foster this hatred into purpose, and further rule their fate by coming to the Trainer's service. Yet ultimately, it was I who set these events into motion, with a single blow from my hammer: Refsplitter.

Dynamite falls, KO'd. The match is over. Korski is the victor.
