    Challenge #2

Sorry to say this, but its not really standard to allow you to postpone this challenge until you get new moves, especially since you don't have a prize claim pending approval at the moment.

Aweshucks is challenging Rank 4 with a Kitsunoh using Limber.
    Kitsunoh (open)

    Kitsunoh (Female)
    Nature: Jolly (+Spe, -SpA)
    Type: Steel/Ghost
Steel: Steel STAB; Immune to Sandstorm, highly insusceptible to toxic attacks, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, can be magnetized. Superior senses in high-metal environments like construction sites or factories.

Limber: (Innate) This Pokemon’s body is well trained and immune to paralysis.
Cursed Body (DW): (Innate) When this Pokemon is struck by an opponent's attack that makes contact, there is a 30% chance that attack will be disabled. Only one of the opponent's attacks can be disabled at a time due to Cursed Body.

    huzzah! lucky crit!

let's see. what to I have type advantages over?
Rock. No, I don't like Earthquake
    Ghost. Maybe
Psychic. Maybe. I've got a resistance and I'm super effective against it

    What do I resist?
Normal. I've had bad experiences in the past, but I have some fighting moves now. Maybe
Fighting. eh, maybe, but I don't have too much to hit them with super effectively
Flying. I've got rock slide and... rock slide. maybe
Grass. Maybe, but I don't have much to hit it with.
Poison. Maybe, but my only move to counter it would be Earthquake. it's an option though
Bug. 4x resistance. I like that. Definitely an option
Dragon. Eh, I don't like their access to a lot of moves that really hurt me.
Steel. Resistance, and usually heavy making them hurt from Low kick. Pretty good. But they also usually have access to Earthquake. Pretty bad.

    Let's try Bug.

Bug Catcher would like to battle!

    RNG roll (for Pokemon) 3/5
    Yanmega (open)

    Yanmega (M)

    Nature: Modest

    Type:

Bug: Bug STAB; More mobility in dense brush or forest conditions. Gain an extra guaranteed attack on multi-hit moves.
Flying: Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks outside extremely odd circumstances even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Enhanced aerial mobility. Superior senses in open air arenas.

    Stats:

    HP: 100
    Atk: Rank 2 (-)
    Def: Rank 3
    SpA: Rank 5 (+)
    SpD: Rank 2
    Spe: 95
    Size Class: 3
    Weight Class: 4
    Base Rank Total: 18

    Abilities:

Speed Boost: (Innate) Pokemon with this ability increase their speed as the battle progresses, boosting it one (1) stage at the end of each round at the cost of 2% of their energy. This overrides the normal drop in stats that ocurs at the end of each round (stats other than Speed are still affected).
Tinted Lens: (Innate) When this Pokemon uses an attack that is normally not very effective, that attack is calculated at the next highest resisrance modifier. (e.g. 4x resistance is calculated at 2x, 2x resistance becomes neutral).
Frisk (DW): (Can be Activated) The Pokemon charges the opponent with the intent to knock off their item. If Frisk is successful and the Pokemon with Frisk is not holding an item, they will pick that item up.

    Item: Choice Specs

    Attacks:

    Tackle
    Foresight
    Quick Attack
    Double Team

"And its only a 2x resistance to Bug you got! Yayz!"

Eh, I'd rather Tinted Lens than Speed Boost.

And your most of your support moves are basically useless with the choice specs.

Protect ~ Taunt ~ Rock Slide

    If mud slap a1 (hence a2 and a3), Substitute (20) a2
If previous sub activates, and the substitute is broken at the end of a2, fake out a3

    right... kinda forgot 'bout that

Well Mud Slap shouldn't do 15 damage, but to make sure it doesn't crit,

sub (20) ~ Rock Slide ~ Rock Slide

also, wtf does the Mud Slap description in DAT mean? It's confusing as hell

"It automatically lowers Acc, and you add the stage difference to the EN cost. For example, if a mon was at -2 Acc, Mud-slap would cost 4+2 = 6 EN. Not really that difficult if you ask me... Regardless, I now really want Speed Boost."

Also, because I don't want to do the math, would you mind putting up the accuracy percentages next time rather than just -2?

    this... could be interesting

also, I understand that taunt doesn't have perfect accuracy, but flavor-wise, how the fuck do you miss?

    Taunt ~ Chill ~ Chill
if yanmega uses detect, chill and push items back
If taunt misses a1, repeat a2 (sub1 takes precedence)

    let's hope I get lucky
