ENGINEER WOULD LIKE TO REF A BIG BATTLE

1v1v1v...v1v1 Melee
4 Day DQ
Infinite Recovers / Infinite chills
All Abilities
No Items
Switch = KO
Two Actions are to be PM'ed to me each round until I say otherwise.

Arena: Battle Royale

Each person will get a PM with the name of an alliance; it is entirely possible that you get something else in your PM as well. If you pass DQ, you will be automatically eliminated from the match. Each Pokemon in the match will gain standard counters, and one KOC for every enemy they defeat; no counters will be awarded for defeating an ally, even if it was unintentional, since I cannot know whether or not it's intentional or not !_! The battle ends when all trainers still battling are on the same alliance. When only four trainers remain, instead of PMing me two actions, you will post two actions—as the Battle Royale is rather chaotic, turn order will be randomized each round.

Once you are dead, you may not transfer information to other people. Needless to say, you may not send in a PM with actions, either.

Info on Reginald: Reginald doesn't brag or boast about his power, but everyone knows his true abilities. Finding reprieve in the necessities, Pumyra prefers to live simply and honestly. The falliables of others are of little weight on her mind; one day leads into the next eventually, but not right now. In battle, Pumyra takes her time and etches her advantages to last - no point in anything that doesn't last longer than it takes to create.

Ninetales(*) [Vindaloo] (F)

Nature:Modest (Adds One (1) Rank to Special Attack; Subtracts One (1) Rank From Attack)

Personality: Vindaloo was my first Pokemon. We dreamed together of become great (or at least better than mediocre) that is why to this day she strategies. She gives me the best ones and we compare notes telepathically. She is calm never losing her cool and very modest. One of my best.

Type:
Fire: Fire STAB; immune to burn, 50% reduction in freeze chance, emit a low glow in dark places, takes additional damage if active open flames are exposed to a water attack. Superior senses in volcanic or brushfire areas.

Abilities:
Flash Fire:(Innate)
This Pokemon thrives in high temperatures, and takes the energy of any opposing fire attack, nullifies the damage, and uses the additional power to boost its own fire attack’s Base Attack Power by two (2). Self-targeted attacks do not give the boost.

(DW) Drought:(Innate)
When this Pokemon is sent out it summons blistering sunlight that scorches the field and does not end, expending 10% of its energy to do so. [Add (DW) after ability name if it's Dream World Ability](UNLOCKED)

Type:
Ice: Ice STAB; immune to freezing and Sheer Cold, no vision loss or damage in Hail or snowstorm conditions, perfectly accurate and 30% Protect breaking Blizzard in Hail. Superior senses and mobility in frozen caves and other frigid arenas.
Dark: Dark STAB; immunity to all telepathic and telekinetic attacks, better performance in all darkened and especially twilight conditions. Can use any Dark-type attack regardless of Attraction.

Abilities:
Pressure:(Innate)This Pokemon’s presence fills the air with intense anxiety, and any damaging or status attack launched at this Pokemon costs the opposing Pokemon two (2) more energy to perform.
Pickpocket:(DW)(UNLOCKED)(Innate) This Pokemon's mischievous nature and greed make it very effective at pawning off an opponents item. If this Pokemon has no item and either it or the opposing Pokemon strikes with a contact attack, their item is stolen and becomes the held item of this Pokemon. Pokemon with Pickpocket can be commanded to swap items with an ally, and only they will need to expend an action to do so because of their swifter sleight of hand.

Ten teams of Pokemon enter the arena. Each team knows its own ideals, but figuring out what other teams share them will be a daunting task. There seem to be two major alliances in this fight. One alliance, the Paranoid Pyramid Punchers, believes that trusting others to punch pyramids is completely ludicrous, and that they are the only ones entitled to do so. The second alliance, the Naive Narwhal Nibblers, trust other people quite willingly—unfortunately, as their habit of nibbling on narwhals is quite distasteful to most, they don't meet many people. It is entirely possible that there may be some neutrals, but for now, all you determine are these two factions.

...and we're off!

Tauros and Tomohawk hastily conjure up some small dolls from who-knows-where, stuffing their own life force into them like a baby would stuff pie in his face! Weavile sharpens his claws in anticipation for the fight, while Krilowatt takes advantage of the confusion to add even more chaos, creating four identical clones of himself. Ninetales, temporarily content with the sunlight, calms her mind for a short moment, gaining some better mental capabilities. Cyclohm aims a blast of water at Blaziken, but the attack narrowly misses as Blaziken jumps high into the sky, somersaulting and smashing into Tomohawk's stuffed doll, revealing Tomohawk's real location. Tauros breathes a sigh of relief. Emboar, like Krilowatt, creates three clones of himself, while Armaldo takes out a stuffed doll of his own. Unnoticed, Kecleon digs a hole underground to hide in.

Seeing Tomohawk's true location, Tauros appears for a split second, charging and ramming into her hard. Weavile isn't letting up, either—taking advantage of its speed, it dashes to Tomohawk and chills her to the bone with an icy cold punch. Meanwhile, Krilowatt unleashes a wave of murky water, dousing all three of the Fire-type Pokemon hard; luckily for them, the sun evaporates some of the attack. However, the mud seems to have left some nasty side effect; it seems as if Blaziken and Ninetales are not quite able to see as well as they used to! As if on cue, Ninetales hurls a ball of energy at Krilowatt, but fails to hit even one clone. Tomohawk isn't faring quite so well, either, as her tracking ball of energy can't seem to go underground. The rest of the Pokemon, however, are brutal with their attacks. Cyclohm zaps Tomohawk with a large bolt of electricity, striking especially hard on her wing. Emboar and Blaziken gang up on the Weavile, shaving off more than half of his total health. Armaldo hides behind his Substitute doll, happily sharpening his claws. Kecleon finally surfaces, knocking into Cyclohm for some minor damage.

Cyclohm was at 100 HP originally, then I put in the -2 Atk and it went to 104...?

And you forgot to apply damage to Spiffy after that Dig attack.

And I love how Spiffy's the only one who gets her nickname in the Speed Order at the end ^_^

I'm greatly amused by action 1 basically being a contest for who can perform the least offensive move. Big props to all of us for that.

Aura Sphere tracks down holes.
Not by default it doesn't. Perfect accuracy moves don't hit through Dig, Dive or similar evasive damaging moves. No Guard moves, on the other hand, do.

Also, how come Kecleon's Dig doesn't have the -3.5 for -2 attack factored in?

Anyone who wants to (like me) can post and claim PPP right now. Let's get it.

Of course, if you want to pretend PPP you can do that too.

OR YOU CAN JUST GO BACK TO YOUR AIMLESS FREE-FOR-ALL. That works also!

Sorry Lou, had to target the most threatening Pokemon in the match because Engineer didn't give most people the ability to find their allies >.>

At the risk of this being very stupid, I'll take option 1.

... Herp. I thought you meant at the start of the match, that it had 100.

Yeah, even stat boosts/drops that don't decay like the Intimidate attack drops can be removed by Haze, Clear Smog and phazing moves.

And I have no idea about the Cocoa Puffs either.

Well shit, Zeo why did you have to go inactive ;_;

Anyway since my alliance is probably fairly obvious after unloading on Lou last round, if all the NNN would contact me so we could plan something that would be nice.
