[Battling 202 - Singles] Mentor Frosty vs Pupil Maxim

Rules:
4v4 Singles
ASB Arena
Strict 72h Disqualification. One warning per player. If pupil gets DQ'd twice, he can be kicked out by tutor. If tutor is DQ'd twice pupil may ask for replacement. (But who?)
2 Recoveries / 5 Chills per Pokémon.
Three Substitutions per player excluding KO Substitutions.
Switch = OK
Abilities = ALL
Items = ON
Mega: One
Sendout = Pupil sends out first.

Special Battling 202 Mentorship Rules:

The twist is: any and every move made by pupil must be justified. And if the Tutor doesn't accept the justification or knows of an action-set that accomplishes the same more efficiently, he may demand the pupil to reorder, resend the team, send out a different pokemon or a different item, or to explain further his strategy, until the tutor is satisfied. Yes, this means that "surprise" won't be a good strategy to use here, simply because of how unreliable that is. The tutor won't need to justify whatever, so surprise remains a good option for him.

Terrible repetitive plays from the pupil may cause the tutor to call a DQ, with the approval of the Manager of the course. This program is for mildly experienced players. If you don't much idea of how things work, then the best way to fix it is with practice, not this program. Same way: if you aren't bringing your A-Game, then why bother?

I thought I decided to go Kitsunoh>Dusknoir? Eh whatever, let's go with it.

So, let's take a look at Frosty's Team

Silvally:
It's somewhat of a threat due to having the ability to be any type under the sun. Fighting is the most likely to deal with Kanga and Colossoil. Still, it's threat is low because it's stats leave a lot to be desired. Can counter this with pretty much anybody.

Togekiss:
Easily the highest threat to my team, as Fairy stab and Grass Knot wreck Colossoil, I'm in a disadvantageous mirror match with my Togekiss, and Dusknoir is only moderately decent against it (even then though it's slow enough to be Flinch Spammed to death). I'm going to have to keep Kangaskhan in reserve to deal with this thing.

Infernape:
Main threat to my Kangaskhan, and the big reason I can't afford to send it out this early. Fortunately the rest of my team does really well against it, so I just have to keep it away from Kangaskhan and I'm fine. Moderate threat.

Banette:
...People use this thing? It's a major threat to Dusknoir but the rest of my team laughs at it. Only slightly above Silvally in terms of threat, and that's due to having actual decent stats.

With this in mind, I'm going to start by sending out Togekiss. It does pretty well against all the team, though it kinda hurts against Frosty's Togekiss, I can always switch out later. Scope Lens is the obvious item in order to guarantee crits.

Toon on the PM with Maxim's team there is a Kitsunoh. Please replace dusknoir with it. I should have been clearer.

lemme know when that is done.

Togekiss with Scope Lens

Air Slash - Air Slash - Air Slash
IF
Thunder Wave THEN Magic Coat
[ONCE] IF Tailwind THEN Tailwind
[CHECK THIS SUB AT PRIORITY +4] IF Encore AND Serenity is faster than Zelda at the very begining of the action AND Zelda's last used move was NOT Air Slash THEN Dodge

Oh, the enemy Togekiss is straight up faster than mine. This is a problem. Unfortunately there's very little I can do about it except assume that I won't be flinched and try to plan things out from there. Kitsunoh eats Togekiss alive, so if I can switch to him I can get in better shape than I am now. Not sure how I could have avoided this but oh well...

Baton Pass~Light Screen~Encore
If you are flinched, then push actions back.

erm

Why are you using Light Screen against a pokemon that auto-crits?

I mean, Light Screen is usually iffish against a pokemon that rely on low bap moves (8bap is low btw) with a fuckload of adds. Add autocrits and the fact that my Togekiss will face like 4-5 actions of the 6 total Light Screen will have and you get a bad idea.

Everything else seems coolio. I would suggest adjusting that sub so if you manage to get A1 and A3 down, Baton Pass and Encore are the moves used, as I doubt the second move will be as important as those. But I might be wrong.
