Arena of yours/Refs choice, I dont like picking arena's lol
Sure thing Blazekin

Switch = N/A

And I'll let the ref pick the arena
Arena: Jungle Bash

A jungle-themed arena. There's no external water source for moves like Surf, but everything else is allowed (including weather, Dig and Earthquake).

At the end of each round, 5 items will spawn. Each item has a 70% chance of being a stone box, a 10% chance of being a TNT box, a 10% chance of being a Nitro box and a 10% chance of being a Wumpa fruit. The effects are as follows:
  • Stone box: Can be picked up (takes an action and 5 energy) and thrown at opponents (also takes an action and 5 energy). This does 25 damage to the target. Alternatively, can be kicked into opponents (takes an action and 5 energy). This will do 10 damage to the target.
  • TNT box: Can be picked up (takes an action and 5 energy) and thrown at opponents (also takes an action and 5 energy). This does 50 damage to the target. If a pokemon is attacked, most damaging moves and a few non-damaging moves will set off the TNT box, dealing 30 damage to the holder. The holder will also take 30 damage if it holds onto a TNT box for 3 actions after picking it up.
  • Nitro box: Just avoid these. Touching them in any way will do 30 damage to the pokemon. Of course, you can try pushing your opponents into a Nitro box.
  • Wumpa fruit: Can be picked up (takes an action and 5 energy) and eaten (takes another action but does not cost energy). The pokemon restores 25 HP and 10 energy and the last status effect it acquired is removed.

Marcia, start the round out by Yawning at Monohm. Then hit it with a Tri Attack and finish the round off with a Shadow Ball at Monohm. If she is taunted by the time of the Yawn, use Tri Attack, Shadow Ball the Tri Attack again, all at Monohm.
Gareth will start by creating a 15 HP Substitute, then use Earthquake and finish the round with an Earth Power on Monohm. If taunted by the first action, use Magnitude instead of Substitute

Marcia: Yawn/Tri Attack~Tri Attack/Shadow Ball~Shadow Ball/Tri Attack (All at Monohm)
Gareth: Substitute (15 HP)/Magnitude~Earthquake~Earth Power (M)

Alright, lets get my first doubles battle rolling, starting off with Steel Face go with a Yawn at Marcia, then Metor Mash at Marcia, finishing up with a Shadow Sneak at Gareth.
Cloudy lets make this count Substitute for 20 HP, then use Power gem on Marcia, and follow up with a Rain dance

Here we are in a jungle arena once used by Crash Bandicoot and company to settle a dispute between good and evil, but today the four battlers are two teams of pokemon. SteelFace the Nohface and Cloudy the Monohm will be fighting Marcia the Togepi and Gareth the Numel. But as soon as she enters the battle, Marcia glows incredibly brightly and undergoes a very drastic change. Suddenly, she is now a Togetic! This ought to prove interesting.

But what's this? Cloudy and Gareth are choosing not to engage their opponents. Instead, both of them are making Substitutes. Marcia and SteelFace are bored by this and they Yawn loudly. Cloudy stuffs her head up her substitute's backside, glad that the substitute is nothing more than a stuffed toy, and blocks out the sound. Marcia, however, is starting to look drowsy.

But now the battle is looking a little more interesting as the real Cloudy shows off something hiding in her fluffy cloud body: a strange gem on her back. She turns her back on Marcia and a beam of ancient energy comes from this Power Gem and hits Marcia on the wing! She's not too happy about this and immediately she fires three balls of energy at her in the form of a Tri Attack. However, the Monohm is quick enough and hides behind her substitute, which takes the full force of the attack and remains in one piece. Gareth has other plans and he stomps the ground hard, causing an Earthquake. Marcia flies up to avoid the seismic waves and SteelFace floats up too, but Cloudy has to think quick. She immediately jumps on top of her substitute and lets that take the attack. After that, however, the substitute is nothing more than a pile of mush. SteelFace charges into Marcia and hits her with a Meteor Mash, knocking the pair of them back down to the ground.

Using his time at ground level wisely, SteelFace uses his Shadow to Sneak up on Gareth, but Gareth sees him coming and throws his substitute into the shadow, tricking SteelFace into quickly attacking it instead of him. Cloudy then fires another beam from the gem on her back, but this time she fires it into the sky, causing it to rain. This must be an advanced form of Rain Dance. Marcia, seeing that SteelFace is able to manipulate shadows, creates a Ball from her own Shadow and hurls it into Cloudy's face. She shruggs it off, but then Gareth calls upon the Power of the Earth and a blast of energy from the ground catches her off guard!

As all four pokemon take a slight breather, five stone boxes appear before their very eyes. Maybe they will be useful to the pokemon?

Steel face, great work not taking any damage go and use Shadow sneak on Numel and then again on Marcia finish with a chill

Marcia, let's protect Gareth by using Follow Me. Then, when you wake up, use Shadow Ball on Nohface, and then Extrasensory on Monohm, or Chill if Monohm is KOed.

Gareth, start the round with a Magnitude, followed by a Earthquake. Finish round by using Earth Power on Monohm, or Nohface if Monohm is dead.

As the battle rages on, all four pokemon decide against picking up the stone boxes and using their own attacks to pummel each other senseless. Marcia starts to wake up, but when she does, she sees that her opponents are focusing their efforts on Gareth. SteelFace Sneaks up on him with his Shadow but only succeeds in destroying his substitute. But it's Cloudy's Hydro Pump that hurts him the most. Fearing for his life, Gareth smashes his body into the ground to create an earthquake of incredible Magnitude. While Marcia and SteelFace fly and float above the ground, Cloudy is forced to take the blow, which happens to be really, really intense this time around.

SteelFace tries the old Shadow Sneak on Marcia next, but she completely ignores the shadow and doesn't feel anything when it connects. Cloudy electrifies herself and charges into Marcia, causing Sparks to fly. Marcia tries making another Shadow Ball, this time aiming at SteelFace. The ball hits and knocks him down for a brief moment, but he floats back up just in time to avoid another one of Gareth's Earthquakes. Cloudy, once again, isn't so lucky, but she barely hangs in there.

Sensing that she's about to go down, Cloudy tries to Spark Marcia again. However, one Extrasensory attack is all it takes to knock her out. Meanwhile, Gareth calls upon the Earth's Power and causes a blast of earth energy to fly into SteelFace, who just so happened to be Chilling out on the ground.

Once again, some more stone boxes appear, but this time so do a couple of Wumpa fruit and a Nitro box. Maybe the pokemon will try using these to turn the tide of the battle.

Clearly Marcia is finding SteelFace a rather boring opponent as she Yawns at him, causing him to feel sleepy. However, SteelFace uses his Shadow to Sneak up on Gareth, this time hitting the real Gareth. The Numel once again unleashes the Earth's Power, catching SteelFace off guard and lowering his resistance.

Marcia senses that Gareth is probably able to handle this opponent on his own so she Growls at SteelFace so that Gareth doesn't take too much more damage from his attacks. Gareth decides to Dig underground, narrowly avoiding a Psycho Shift from SteelFace. Once he feels it's safe to come up, Gareth unleashes an attack from the ground. Unfortunately, SteelFace just couldn't float up quick enough to avoid it.

Feeling cornered, SteelFace tries one last Shadow Sneak, but a combination of another Earth Power from Gareth and another Shadow Ball from Marcia and the Nohface is knocked out. Team danmantincan wins!
