[OVERVIEW]
* Blissey's extraordinary HP and fantastic Special Defense coupled with reliable recovery makes it ridiculously bulky, allowing it to work as an excellent special wall in Ubers.
* Blissey posseses a great and useful support movepool with moves like Heal Bell and Wish.
* Blissey's ability Natural Cure helps it absorb status.
* Blissey's low Defense means that it isn't capable enough to resist physical attacks.
* Blissey has poor offensive presence due its awful Attack and Speed, which makes Blissey restricted to stall or balance builds.

Moves
========
* Toxic is an essential move that allows Blissey to cripple Arceus formes, Xerneas, and physical threats that aren't immune such as Primal Groudon.
* Heal Bell offers cleric support to keep its teammates healthy by curing them of status conditions
* Soft-Boiled gives Blissey reliable recovery, allowing it to comfortably restore its HP making it difficult to wear down.
* Shadow Ball helps Blissey to deal with Substitute Lunala and Mega Gengar. Wish could be an alternative option to provide longevity to its teammates; however, this means that Blissey gets baited by Taunt and is forced to run Shed Shell.
Set Details
========
* Full Defense and Special Defense investment with a Calm Nature maximize Blissey's bulk, which is required to take resisted special attacks and some weaker physical attacks and allows Blissey to check a plethora of threats in the tier such as Xerneas, Arceus formes, Mega Gengar and Lunala.
* Natural Cure allows Blissey to cure itself of status when switching out.
* Leftovers is very useful to heal a little HP every turn, keeping Blissey completely healthy; Shed Shell is also a good choice so Blissey is able to escape from Mega Gengar.
Usage Tips
========
* Switch Blissey into special attackers that it can wall such as Xerneas, Lunala, Arceus formes, Dialga, and Palkia, since their switch out is a good opportunity for Blissey to clear status with Heal Bell or pass Wish.
* Blissey needs to be as healthy as possible throughout the match to ensure that it can switch on what it checks consistently.
* Spread Toxic to try to annoy opposing Pokemon while forcing the switch out.
* Try to don't waste Heal Bell PP, as it is going to help Blissey against stall and balance matchups by healing the team only when it's necessary.
* Switch into a Pursuit trapper like Alolan Muk or Tyranitar predicting an opposing switch into Mega Gengar to trap and KO it with Pursuit, giving Blissey an easier time.
Team Options
========
* Blissey fits perfectly in defensive builds; its teammates should be picked as such.
* Pursuit users like Alolan Muk and Tyranitar are very useful. They can keep Mega Gengar from having its way, since it's a headache for stall teams due its ability Shadow Tag, which allows it to trap and break defensive walls.
* Blissey appreciates the help from physical walls. Support Arceus formes and RestTalk Zygarde-C are good partners because they check a few dangerous physical threats like Ho-Oh, Primal Groudon, and Mega Salamence.
* Ghost-types like Mega Sableye and Giratina-O are good partners as well, as their typing and bulk provides a better matchup against physical attackers such as Swords Dance Arceus formes; in addition to this, Mega Sableye's ability and Giratina-O's Defog are able to prevent and remove entry hazards, respectively, and Blissey is susceptible to them.

Other Options
=============
* Ice Beam and Flamethrower work similarly; Ice Beam can potentially surprise opposing Mega Salamence, while Flamethrower does pretty much the same against Steel-types and is also helpful in dealing some damage to Mega Gengar if running Leftovers. But, Ice Beam and Flamethrower are not worthy moveslots because Blissey is great as cleric.
* Blissey can take advantage of the many Pokemon that it walls and set up Stealth Rock if it's needed to fit in somewhere or if the player wants a Stealth Rock user that is difficult to wear down.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Physical Attackers**: A diversity of dangerous physical attackers can be very threatening and can switch into and try to set up in front of Blissey. Even without boosts, they are able to hit extremely hard, making Blissey almost faint. Some good examples are Facade Mega Salamence, which takes advantage of getting poisoned, Primal Groudon, Ho-Oh, Swords Dance Arceus, Rayquaza, and Life Orb Psystrike Mewtwo.
**Taunt**: Taunt shuts down 3/4 of Blissey's moves, which can turn it into setup fodder.
**Steel-types**: Steel-types are immune to Toxic and very annoying to face. Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Klefki and Skarmory can set up Spikes, and Celesteela pressures Blissey by draining its HP because of Leech Seed forcing the switch out. Steel-types also include Swords Dance users like Mega Lucario, Excadrill, and Scizor.
**Mega Gengar**: Perish Song Mega Gengar can be very threatening, since it can trap and remove Blissey quite easily, as this set runs Reflect Type, meaning Blissey doesn't even properly pressure Mega Gengar.
**Rest**: Blissey hates Rest users such as Kyogre and Z-Geomancy Xerneas, as they can restore their health to full, forcing Blissey to attack by using either Shadow Ball or Seismic Toss, creating an awkward scenario that Blissey usually ends up losing.
