And thus we have a triples battle. It will start off with BT releasing three Pokemon, Westwind releasing Pokemon, and then them alternating to issue commands, starting with Westwind. I will ref every now and then if you're very lucky ;)

Also, remember that this is triples, so you only get two actions.

Guys, we will have to power up quickly, so that we can get ahead! Vuelo, all out attack on Mystery! They are our biggest threat at the moment. Contrario, blind them with a Sand-Attack, and then use an Acrobat on Larvesta. Petro, you're the new guy. You'll want to be as strong as you can off the bat, so use Nasty Plot. Then, you should use Flamethrower on that Tangela!

    Vuelo: Energy Ball X2 (Mystery)

Contrario: Sand Attack (Mystery) ~ Acrobat (Panic)

Petro: Nasty Plot ~ Flamethrower (Messy)

Alright, guys. We're going to ready the field before we do anything massive. First of all, Panic, use your String Shot against your opponent's team. If I'm mistaken and String Shot doesn't affect all of the opponents, just target Contrario. Next priority is putting that little Togepi to sleep before it pulls anything nasty. In other words- Messy, use Sleep Powder on Petro! Finally, Mystery, use Dragon Dance to outspeed the opposition, before using Light Screen the next turn. Panic, use Zen Headbutt on that Breezi and hope for the flinch. Finally, Messy, Sunny Day! Of course, if Togepi somehow evaded Sleep last time, forgo Sunny Day for another Sleep Powder.

    Mystery: Dragon Dance, Light Screen
Panic: String Shot (All three / Contrario), Zen Headbutt (Contrario)
Messy: Sleep Powder (Petro), Sunny Day / Sleep Powder (Petro)

And so we finally get to the first round of the match between Blue Tornado and Westwind. The lineups both look very good, and in fact they looked well matched enough to have a very good game. Contrario the Breezi begins off the match by gathering up a handful of sand and launching it at Mystery. The Sand Attack goes into Mystery's eyes and face, leaving his accurcay down for some time until he can brush it all away (3 Energy, -1 Accuracy). Then, Panic the Larvesta fires a String Shot off at Contrario, and the sticky string it fires around slows Contrario significantly, leaving him slow and sluggish for a while (4 Energy). After him, Westwind's Vuelo gathers up energy from all around, and then releases it all in a giant Energy Ball at Mystery, which is not very effective but does serve to do the first damage of the match (5 Energy, 8 Damage). Then, Messy the Tangela steps up, bringing forth a weird Sleep Powder to cover Petro, and it covers him completely, putting him to sleep for some time, and in fact leaving him out of the fight for some time (6 Energy, Intense Sleep). Then, Mysterio the Dratini finds the time to respond to all of the attacks and starts a mystical Dragon Dance, ducking and weaving in a strange pattern, which builds him up slowly to boost his attacking skills and leaves him invigorted for future rounds (6 Energy). Finally, Petro the Togepi would have moved, but he was in such a deep sleep that Westwind's frantic yells can't rouse it, leaving it unable to move for a time.

Next, Contrario the Breezi moves up and jumps into the air, and comes down hard on Panic, hitting it with some great Acrobatics in the air and doing a lot of damage because of his great mobility without an item (6 Energy, 21 Damage). In responce, Panic sneaks up behind Contrario and hits him with great force from behind him with his mind. The Zen Headbutt is super effective, and hits so hard from behind that Contrario flinches, and would be unable to move if it hadn't already (6 Energy, 14 Damage). Next, Vuelo lets off another Energy Ball at Mystery, again not doing too much bit still beating it down slowly (9 Energy, 8 Damage). Then, Messy releases a huge amount of inner heat, and the energy from the release and the heat make it seem like a Sunny Day, and it looks like it will hang around for some time (10 Energy). Finally, Mystery steps up to construct a Light Screen between the competitors, leaving his team more protected, even though the only opponent using attacks which it will stop is immune to it (8 Energy). This leaves the round over, and it is up to Blue_Tornado to issue instructions next. Off you go!

There is intense sunlight, and it will continue for another four rounds.

Ok, seems like nothing has gone wrong. Mystery, that Breezi is apparently still very fast, so just Thunder Wave it. Then go for the Outrage on Petro. Messy, you're now lightning fast so pulling a quick SolarBeam on Petro shouldn't be a problem. Follow up with a Hidden Power [Fire] on Vuelo. If that Breezi happens to Encore you on SolarBeam, just target Petro again with it. Finally, Panic, go for an extremely powerful Flamethrower on Vuelo. Then try Zen Headbutt to try and flinch that Breezi (in combination with T-Wave's paralysis). So:

Messy: SolarBeam (Petro) ~ HP Fire (Vuelo) OR SolarBeam (Petro) if Encore'd
Panic: Flamethrower (Vuelo) ~ Zen Headbutt (Breezi)
Mystery: Thunder Wave (Breezi) ~ Outrage (Petro)

The next round begins rather unexpectedly with Panic, who brings up a Flamethrower and shrouds Vuelo in it, toasting him alive, and leaving him badly torched (6 Energy, 20 Damage). Vuelo, roused by the torching, then Tickles Mystery, causing it to lower its guard for a while, and leaving itself exposed and unable to attack as well (6 Energy) Then, rather unexpectedly with Contrario again, moving first because his lowered speed does not mean he moves later. It hits Panic with some mid-air Acrobatics, knocking it down from mid-air, and hurting it very badly in the process (10 Energy, 21 Damage). Next, Messy gathers up energy from the latent heat around the area, and unleashes it in a powerful Solarbeam at Petro, damaging it for the first time (7 Energy, 17 Damage). Finally, Mystery finishes the round because Petro is still asleep, launches a Thunder Wave at Contrario to try to paralyse it (7 Energy). It manages it, and Contrario becomes utterly stunned by the lightning, unable to move.

Next, Panic summons up another Flamethrower, which it uses to torch Vuelo, again roasting it and hurting it very badly (10 Energy, 20 Damage). Then, Vuelo responds by throwing some Leech Seed all over the place, and they latch on to Mystery, sucking health out of him (9 Energy). Then, Messy the Tangela releases all of its Hidden Power, and it is super effective and badly hurts Vuelo because it is made so much worse by the sun, who looks like he is beginning to suffer (5 Energy, 23 Damage). Then, Mystery the Dratini starts to vent his Outrage at Petro, knocking it around for some time (7 Energy, 15 Damage), but it appears to wake up Petro, and finally Petro manages to Encore the Outrage, ensuring that it continues to use the same attack for some time. Finally, the roudn is closed out by Contrario, who deals another blow to Panic in the form of some strange Acrobatics, leaving Petro looking very battered and bruised, and possibly within range of a knockout next round (14 Energy, 21 Damage). This leaves the game once again very even, an it is now up to Westwind to issue instructions to continue the battle.

There is intense sunlight, and it will continue for another three rounds.

Alright guys, let's do this wisely. First off, Messy, use your immense speed under the sun to swiftly hit Contrario with a Sleep Powder. While that's done, Mystery, target Vuelo with your Outrage, and Panic, take this time to recover with a sun-boosted Morning Sun.

Now, Messy, pay attention. If Sleep Powder missed last time, go for it again now, again on Contrario. If not, target Petro with a SolarBeam. Panic, go for the Flamethrower Vuelo, and Mystery, use Outrage on Vuelo again. If Vuelo has fainted before that Outrage hit, simply shift the assault against Petro.

Messy: Sleep Powder (Contrario) ~ SolarBeam (Petro)
IF Sleep Powder misses THEN replace SloarBeam (Petro) with Sleep Powder (Contrario)

Mystery: Outrage (Vuelo) ~ Outrage (Vuelo)

Time for the next round. We left off last round with each player still having three Pokemon up, and it looked reasonably even. This round looks like it might be the first to see some casualties, and it should be very interesting to follow through. It begins with Westwind's Vuelo, who tries to cripple Panic before it can heal itself by releasing Stun Spores all over it. It covers it completely, leaving it paralysed by the spores for some time (6 Energy). Then Panic tries to abuse the intense sunlight around the field to restore some energy. It tries hard, but it can't quite overcome the paralysis from last round, leaving it completely immobile for a while. Then, Vuelo still recovering from moving so quickly before, Messy lets off a Sleep Powder, which covers Contrario completely and puts him to sleep for the rest of the round (6 Energy). Then, Mystery releases his Outrage at the shenaniganry this turn by releasing all of his frustration in another huge blow at Vuelo, sending it flying again and leaving it possibly within range of a knockout blow (7 Energy, 15 Damage). Finally, Petro the Togepi gets around to actually moving, and unleashes a Flamethrower at Messy, which is boosted enough by the sun to hurt it badly, especially considering it had not been touched until then (7 Energy, 24 Damage). This leaves the round over, and all that remains of it is that energy just continues to seep out of Mystery and into Vuelo, which very nicely takes him out of range of a knockout.

Next, Messy starts off the round using his stupidly good speed under the sun to outstrip everyone to launch a Solarbeam composed of all of the latent energy around, and aims it at Petro, knocking it back with the force of the beam (7 Energy, 17 Damage). Then, Vuelo casts an Energy Ball composed of energy from all around the area at Panic for some reason, which is not very effective at all, but is a nice token effort (5 Energy, 6 Damage). Next up is Mystery, who unleashes his last Outrage at Vuelo, leaving him at almost no health, but still just able to continue (7 Energy, 15 Damage). Then, Petro moves, launching another Flamethrower over at Messy, almost burning him but not quite managing it, although still leaving it hurt badly by the two blows (11 Energy, 24 Damage). Finally, the round is finished by Panic, who lets off one final Flamethrower at Vuelo, and leaving him completely knocked out and unable to battle (6 Energy, 20 Damage). Contrario also wakes now, ready to take part in the next round. This leaves Westind down a Pokemon, but with all five Pokemon looking like they are reaching their limits, it looks like we might be entering the end of the battle. Your orders, Blue_Tornado!

There is intense sunlight, and it will continue for another two rounds.

Ok guys, we need to be ready for two possible outcomes. First, Sleep Powder goes on Contrario yet again. Then Flamethrower and Outrage on Petro. Follow that up by Messy's SolarBeam to KO Petro, and if Panic's Flamethrower didn't connect, yet another Outrage on Petro to ensure the KO (if it did just target Contrario with it). If Sleep Powder missed, just use it on Contrario again instead of SolarBeam. Then Panic Flamethrowers Contrario.

If, however, Petro attempts a follow me, replace your round two actions with the following: Hidden Power [Fire] and Outrage on Contrario, or if Sleep Powder missed, Sleep Powder on Contrario.

Mystery: Outrage (Petro) ~ Outrage (Contrario)
IF Petro is alive and not asleep THEN replace Outrage (Contrario) with Outrage (Petro)

Panic: Flamethrower (Petro) ~ Flamethrower (Contrario)

Messy: Sleep Powder (Contrario) ~ SolarBeam (Petro)
IF Sleep Powder misses THEN replace SolarBeam (Petro) with Sleep Powder (Contrario)
IF Sleep Powder hits Petro THEN replace SolarBeam (Petro) with Hidden Power [Fire] (Contrario)

Dang it, they got Vuelo. We don't have much of a chance to live. We should try to take them out as fast as we can. Mystery is still taking damage, so don't worry about him. Let's go for Messy and Panic.

    Petro: Flamethrower X2 (Messy)

And so we come back to the first round after our first knock-out. BT is up by one Pokemon, and he's looking more dangerous all the time. Tangela starts the round again, trying to throw down more Sleep Powder all over Contrario, but unfortunately it all misses, leaving Contrario still able to attack for a while (6 Energy). Next up is Mystery, who lets off another Outrage at Petro, knocking it around and leaving it hurt badly (11 Energy, 15 Damage). Then, Contrario can finally go, slowed as it is by the paralysis it hits Panic with some mid-air Acrobatics, knocking it clean out and leaving the scores tied once more (6 Energy, 26 Damage). This leaves only Petro still to move, and Petro lets loose another Flamethrower at Messy, leaving it roasted once again (15 Energy, 24 Damage).

Next, Messy tries once more to put Contrario out of action, flinging Sleep Powder once more all around, but once again the attack misses completely, and Contrario is once again available to attack. However, Mystery goes next and lets off another giant Outrage, leaving it finally within range of a knockout blow (11 Energy, 15 Damage). Next, Contrario tries to move, but perhaps kharma intervenes after the two missed attacks from Messy and Contrario is this time unable to attack thanks to the paralysis, leaving it completely immobile. Finally, Petro is up to finish the round, launching yet another Flamethrower at Messy, and leaving it on almost no health at all (19 Energy, 24 Damage). This means the round is now over, and the whole battle has taken a huge turn. Westwind now looks to be in a very strong position, and it is up to Blue Tornado to issue his instructions first to try to claw back the lead!

There is intense sunlight, and it will continue for another round.

Jesus christ, if this last Sleep Powder on Contrario misses too I will be pissed. Of course, Outrage should finish off Petro now, so it should be alright as long as it finally hits.. Then I want you guys to Hidden Power [Fire] and Flamethrower Contrario.

Messy: Sleep Powder (Contrario) ~ Hidden Power [Fire] (Contrario)
IF Sleep Powder misses THEN replace Hidden Power [Fire] with Sleep Powder (Contrario) but seriously fuck off if it misses.

Mystery: Outrage (Petro) ~ Flamethrower (Contrario)
IF Sleep Powder misses THEN replace Flamethrower (Contrario) with Outrage (Contrario) but seriously fuck off if it misses.

Well, we have a chance of winning here! We've almost got Messy out of the game! Final attacks must be issued. Try to heal Petro, so he can get in a K.O.

It looks like we might be coming to the end of the match, and this might even be the last round of the match. Both sides are looking very beaten up, especially Petro and Messy, who could be the next casualties. Nonetheless, Messy moves first, trying once more to put Contrario out of action with Sleep Powder. This time it hits in spectacular fashion, but leaves it out of action for hardly any time at all (14 Energy + 10 from last one which I forgot). Thus, Contrario is out of action for the action, and can't move for a while, waking up only after everyone else has moved. Then, Dratini lets off one final Outrage, venting great power at Petro and finally knocking it out cold, and in fact confusing Dratini thanks to the awesome power it has just released (11 Energy, 15 Damage). Finally, Contrario wakes up, leading into the end of the last round.

Messy moves up, releasing its Hidden Power at Contrario, the feiry pulse moving over towards him and beginning the inevitable beating he is going to get over the next while, and is boosted to a very hard hit by the dying sunlight (5 Energy, 13 Damage). Then, Dratini continues the onslaught, launching a Flamethrower, which compounds with the Hidden Power and the sun to hurt Contrario very badly once again (7 Energy, 15 Damage). Contrario is taking a beating out there, but overcomes the last of the paralysis as it dies out to launch one final Acrobatic attack at Messy, finally knocking it out and leaving everyone with a 1v1 between Contrario and Mystery (6 Energy, 26 Damage). Good luck to both, and we'll have to wait for Westwind to lead off the end of the battle. Good Luck!

And so we come to the final matchup of the battle. It has been a great fight, and it seems fitting that it should come down to be so close, ending in an even 1v1 to duke it out for the title. The battle of course starts with Contrario the Breezi, who uses his superior speed to start up using some great Acrobatics, using his weight to come crashing down again and again on Mystery the Dratini, beginning the all-out attack that the next round will prove to be (10 Energy, 16 Damage). Dratini moves up to respond, but unfortunately is so confused after last round's exhaustion that it hurts itself instead, and is unable to attack properly (6 Damage). This seals its fate, because next Contrario lets off a few more Acrobatics to badly hurt it and land it within range of a knockout blow, leaving it very weak and pained (14 Energy, 16 Damage). The fight looks almost over now, and Dratini probably only has one attack left in it. It finally makes peace with the hax gods before it departs, and lets off a final, huge Flamethrower at Contrario, roasting it alive before it delivers the final blow (7 Energy, 12 Damage). This leaves only Contrario, who knocks Mystery out completely with some final Acrobatics, leaving it the only Pokemon left on the field (18 Energy, 16 Damage). This means that Westwind Wins! gg and wp to all, and I hope you had fun. KO counters go to Mystery, Panic, and three to the obvious MVP, Contrario. Congrats!
