I have a very bad feeling about this, but go! Ron and Hermione!

Ron: You and Hermione have the power of love, so this should be easy (right?). Borrow some pranks from George and Toxic Dreeko with your blinding speed...er, priority. Then use Leech Seed on it and finish things up with a GrassWhistle, also aimed at Dreeko (unless it can hit multiple opponents). If Dreeko ever uses a status move, insert Encore as the next action and push everything else back one. Do this once at the most.

Hermione: Again, love will conquer all. Swords Dance to amp up your attack, then Circle Throw Slica into Dreeko! Close by Blaze Kicking Slica.

Summary:
Ron: Toxic Dreeko -> Leech Seed Dreeko -> GrassWhistle Dreeko (or both); insert Encore once if Dreeko uses a status move
Hermione: Swords Dance -> Circle Throw Slica into Dreeko -> Blaze Kick Slica

Ok Dreeko, you might need to show Slica the way to do things here, this being his first battle and all.

Slica you need to start off by playing your part and Taunting the Contontee, he will get his Toxic off by the rest of his trickery will be useless. Then it's time to lay the hurt on that Riolu, the much more dangerous of the two. Hit him with an Aerial Ace followed by an Ice Punch!

Dreeko your job is easy, just do massive damage to Hermione. Hit him with your Dragon Pulse, with a Scald thrown in the middle for good measure. If we're lucky you might be able to score a burn.

Summary
Slica: Taunt (Ron) > Aerial Ace (Hermione) > Ice Punch (Hermione)
Dreeko: Dragon Pulse (Hermione) > Scald (Hermione) > Dragon Pulse (Hermione)

Round One!

Welcome to the most boring arena in existence. Nothing beats a plain cube room with white walls and a white floor and a white ceiling. Let's hope our battle will shake this room up a bit. Wooooo~

Ron starts us off with a tricky move. With his cool Prankster ability, he manages to go first and shoots off deadly neurotoxins towards Dreeko the Kingdra. Unfortunately for Ron, Dreeko manages to avoid the attack with a quick swerve to the side. Slica points a couple fingers at Ron, wiggling them and taunting Ron into a blind rage. I guess we're going to be seeing more attacking now, aren't we? Dreeko sees Hermione as a large threat, firing off a large pulse of draconic energy towards the Riolu, dealing quite a bit of damage. Hermione shakes off the blow and starts dancing in a mystical dance of swords, raising her attack by two stages.

Ron attempts to make another attack, but the Taunt prevents him from doing anything worthwhile. Better luck next time. As Slica slams into Hermione quickly with an Aerial Ace, Dreeko shoots a jet of boiling water towards Hermione. The two attacks deal a large amount of damage when combined. Hermione quickly retaliates by picking Slica up and sliding him into Dreeko, dealing significant damage. It seems that everyone is capable of dealing damage except for Ron xD

Once again, Ron is unable to make another attack due to the enraging Taunt made on him. Simmering with anger, the Cottonee is forced to waste another action. Slica smashes into Hermione with a powerful Ice Punch, dealing some damage, and Dreeko shoots another pulse of draconic energy, dealing more damage. Hermione seems a bit exhausted as she lights her own foot on fire and kicks the retreating Slica hard in the leg, dealing some extra damage as the fire melts some of the ice on the Sneasel.

End.

Ok guys, great first round. It's time to continue with our heavy damage.

Slica, we can let Dreeko finish off the Riolu so you can focus all your attention on Ron. Your instructions are very similar to before, Ice Punch him twice, with an Aerial Ace thrown in the middle to break it up a little. However, if by some chance Hermione is still up when it comes to your second action, then point your Aerial Ace at her instead.

Dreeko, just keep up much of the same. Finish Hermione off with another Scald, then fire off an Ice Beam followed by a Signal Beam at Ron while he's still taunted.

Summary
Dreeko: Scald (Hermione) > Ice Beam (Ron) > Signal Beam (Ron)
Slica: Ice Punch (Ron) > Aerial Ace (Ron) > Ice Punch (Ron)
IF Hermione is not KOed at the start of action 2 THEN change the target of your Aerial Ace to Hermione

Ron: That went horribly. Use your Mega Drain to do some damage to Dreeko, then hit them both with a Razor Leaf. Close with a second Mega Drain, also on Dreeko.

Hermione: That was not a good turn for you. Use Endure to cost them a little extra energy, then Vacuum Wave Slica and end with a second Vacuum Wave, also on Slica.

Summary:
Ron: Mega Drain Dreeko -> Razor Leaf -> Mega Drain Dreeko
Hermione: Endure -> Vacuum Wave Slica -> Vacuum Wave Slica

Round Two!

Slica starts the round for us by punching Ron hard in his cottony face, dealing significant damage. Dreeko follows up by spraying boiling hot water at Hermione, knocking her out... Wait, it seems like she's hanging on by a hitpoint! How amazing! However, as she stumbles forward, attempting to deliver another blow, she falls flat on her face and is knocked unconscious as the inflicted burn deals just enough damage. Ron, horror-struck at his teammate dying, can only feebly Mega Drain Dreeko for some minor damage.

Slica and Dreeko turn their attention towards their solitary opponent (for now) and prepare their individual assaults. Seconds later, Dreeko shoots a beautiful beam of freezing ice towards the cotton ball as Slica slices downwards with an aerial ace. Both attacks deal significant damage, leaving Ron panting and almost wishing to be knocked unconscious. Ron attacks back with a Razor Leaf, aiming them such that it hits both opponents. It hits especially hard as the leaf slams into Dreeko's side in a sensitive spot, resulting in a critical hit!

Slica deals another heavy blow with an Ice Punch towards Ron's head. The icy fist manages to take another sizable chunk from Ron's health, leaving him just in the range of a KO by Dreeko... or not. Dreeko shoots a strange beam towards Ron, which deals super-effective damage yet again. Unfortunately for Ron, as he comes a bit closer to attack, he hits himself in confusion for some damage (Signal Beam confused)! Luckily, he immediately snaps out afterwards; maybe so he can get hit more?

:( This was a loss from the beginning. Go Dobby!

Ron: I'm getting a sinking feeling that you're going to faint momentarily, so spam Mega Drain until you faint. If you happen to become un-Taunted before you die, immediately change the next action to Leech Seed on Dreeko.

Dobby: This is your first match as well as Hermione's, so give it all you've got! First, Trace Sniper. I can't remember if this takes an action, but if it does, Thunderbolt Dreeko and then Signal Beam Slica. If it doesn't take an action, make your third action Scalding Slica. If Dreeko ever uses a Dragon-type attacking move, change that action to Me First and don't change any of the others.

Summary:
Ron: Mega Drain/Leech Seed Dreeko x3 (Leech Seed if un-Taunted)
Dobby: Trace Sniper -> Thunderbolt Dreeko -> Signal Beam Slica -> Scald Slica (replace an action with Me First if Dreeko uses a Dragon-typed attack)

Ok guys, lets keep the run going.

Dreeko, I want you to start off with a beautiful Dragon Dance. That will make you faster than Dobby so then you should Dragon Pulse it twice. His substitutions will force him to use Me First both times and fail in doing so, how dastardly.

Slica, unfortunately there is no way we can stop that little Prankster from getting his Leech Seed off, so just Ice Punch to finish Ron off. Then just use your STAB and Pillowatt's pitiful defence to do more damage in the form of Bite and Faint Attack.

Summary
Dreeko: Dragon Dance > Dragon Pulse (Dobby) > Dragon Pulse (Dobby)
Slica: Ice Punch (Ron) > Bite (Dobby) > Faint Attack (Dobby)

Round Three!

Welcome back to the really boring arena. The battle has gotten a bit more interesting; let's watch it unfold.

Sensing that his death is near, Ron uses a last-ditch strategy, utilizing his internal Prankster to go before everybody else. He quickly shoots as many leech seeds as he can to Dreeko; unfortunately, he panics and his aim goes way off, causing all the seeds to miss! Slica takes no mercy, punching Ron to kingdom come with his icy fist. Bye, Ron! While Dreeko performs a mystical dance of the dragons that raises his attack and speed by one stage, Dobby traces Dreeko's ability, Sniper, for six actions. :D

While Dobby attempts to use Me First for two actions in a row, the faster opponents gang up on him, using four devastating attacks. In a span of seconds, two Dragon Pulses, a Bite, and a Faint Attack all land on his small plankton body, dealing mammoth damage as Dobby uses two failed Me Firsts, expending both precious time and precious energy. It doesn't seem like Dobby will be living much longer...

Ok guys, the easy stuff is over now that Neville is on the field.

Slica, you're up first and we should start by making sure Dobby is taken out of action. So lead off with a Faint Attack to ensure that you hit and he goes down. Then just focus on the Colossoil with some super effectiveness. Hit him with an Ice Punch then a Brick Break.

Dreeko, I have a feeling you might be Neville's first target so make sure you get off as much damage as you can while you're still kicking. Super effective + STAB is our friend, so fire off two Scalds at him, broken up by a Bubblebeam in the middle. If we're lucky we should get a burn on him while we're at it.

Summary
Slica: Faint Attack (Dobby) > Ice Punch (Neville) > Brick Break (Neville)
Dreeko: Scald (Neville) > Bubblebeam (Neville) > Scald (Neville)

Dobby: You're about to go down, so just shoot off Thunderbolts at Slica until you faint.

Neville: Let's do some trolling. Evasively Dig on the first action and don't surface until the end of Turn 3, at which point you should hit Dreeko with the attack. If you're forced to surface before then, hit Dreeko with the attack, then Earthquake followed by a Crunch on Dreeko.

Summary:
Dobby: Thunderbolt Slica x3
Neville: Evasively Dig (Dreeko) -> Stay Underground / Earthquake -> Surface at the end and hit Dreeko / Crunch Dreeko

Round Four!

Dreeko starts the round for us this time; amazing! Before anybody can react, she sprays a jet of boiling water at Neville the Colossoil, dealing significant damage. Luckily for Neville, he's not burned straightaway. Slica attempts to finish off the weakened Dobby with a Faint Attack, but Dobby seems to have hung on with 1 HP remaining! As Neville digs his way underground for who knows how long, Dobby retaliates by firing a Thunderbolt at Dreeko for some damage.

While Neville remains underground for this action, both Dreeko and Slica attempt to hit him with BubbleBeam and Ice Punch, respectively. Luckily for the Colossoil, both attacks cannot touch him when he's underground, saving him from a potential boatload of damage. Dobby, left without attention, fires off another Thunderbolt.

Once again, Dreeko and Slica attempt to hit Neville, but with slightly stronger attacks this time. Again, they miss due to Neville being underground, chilling out. Hmm? What's that? It seems that Neville has surfaced and attacks Dreeko for quite some damage. Ignored again, Dobby fires off a third Thunderbolt at Slica, bringing him down to a low amount of health.

That was amazing. Who said stall isn't a viable team archetype?

Dobby: Nice job being ignored. Thunderbolt Slica for action one. For action 2, jump on Neville's back to avoid damage from Earthquake. Close with a Thunderbolt on Dreeko.

Neville: Sweet. Nearly unscathed. Dig again, but this time resurface at the end of the first turn. Hit Dreeko if Dobby has not fainted and Slica if Dobby has departed. For your second action, use Earthquake. For the third, Crunch Dreeko.

Summary:
Dobby: Thunderbolt Slica -> jump on Neville's back -> Thunderbolt Dreeko
Neville: Dig Dreeko / Slica -> Earthquake -> Crunch Dreeko

Wow, epic miscalculation on Dobby there. That one could be costly.

Slica, start off by doing what you should have done before, Faint Attack Dobby again to finish him off. I don't know if you'll survive that Dig attack or not but if you do just Ice Punch Neville until you go down.

Dreeko, you're running low on energy but that won't make much difference if those high strength attacks KO you before you can use it all up. Start with a Dragon Dance while you're not being targeted to regain the speed advantage. Then fire off another Scald and Bubblebeam one after the other, these should find their mark better than last round.

Summary
Slica: Faint Attack (Dobby) > Die/Ice Punch (Neville) > Ice Punch (Neville)
Dreeko: Dragon Dance > Scald (Neville) > Bubblebeam (Neville)

Round Five!

We're going to see some corpses, so let's just get to it, shall we?

Slica starts the round off for us again, using Faint Attack to finish last round's business. The result? An upturned little plankton, floating in the water, DEAD. That's Pokemon for you. When you see "fainted" it means "dead." Purposefully ignoring this, Dreeko dances up again, raising her just-dropped attack and speed. A constant dose of steroids will eventually lead to a permanent state of heightened physical capabilities, they say. Neville is unimpressed, digging down and coming back up with surprising speed, leaving Slica with 2 HP.

Both Slica and Dreeko now attack the vulnerable Colossoil; they use Ice Punch and Scald, respectively. They each hit for significant damage, but Neville's fat body tanks the hits pretty well. Neville responds by summoning a huge earthquake to hit the arena, knocking Slica out as well as dealing quite a bit damage to Dreeko.

The round finishes with Dreeko using BubbleBeam and Neville using Crunch on each other. They both deal some damage, and while Dreeko isn't looking so great, Neville is still at a comfortable amount of HP.

End.

Great work Slica, you definitely earned your keep in this match. Staba, it's time you got out there to finish this off.

Dreeko, you're low on both health and energy but that doesn't mean you're work is done. I want you to fire off another Scald, then chill to get a little extra energy, and if you're still up and going then Scald again. Should Neville remain underground for any action in an attempt to dodge your attacks I want you to replace that attack with Chill so you don't waste your energy.

Staba, you can just go in for the kill. Your strongest attack against this thing is clearly Megahorn, so lets just hope that they hit. Make your middle attack an Ice Fang just so the energy cost doesn't build up too high. However, and this is the most important part, if Neville tries to hide underground for any turn then you should instead rock him with an Earthquake.

Summary
Dreeko: Scald > Chill > Scald
Replace any action with Chill if Neville hides underground

Staba: Megahorn > Ice Fang > Megahorn
Replace any action with Earthquake if Neville hides underground

Hmm...hit Dreeko with an Earth Power, Staba with Bubblebeam, and both of them with Earthquake.

Summary:
Earth Power Dreeko -> Bubblebeam Staba -> Earthquake

Round Six!

Dreeko starts the round off for us, shooting the jet of boiling water at Neville for the umpteenth time. Neville tanks the hit, but he isn't looking so great anymore. Neville retaliates by making the earth below Dreeko explode in a burst of earthy power, dealing significant damage. Staba seems unaffected by this duel and deals more damage with a powerful Megahorn, which leaves Neville hanging at low HP.

As Dreeko chills off, restoring 12 HP, Neville gets another attack off. Shooting a large load of small bubbles at Staba, Neville wonders how long he can last. The answer is "not very long." Staba takes a ton of damage from the attack, but retaliates with an Ice Fang, knocking Neville out.

End.

Good game!

gg, deadfox! I had pretty much lost from the start, but at least my Pokemon got some experience. Thanks to Engineer Pikachu for being a great and timely ref, and thanks for the battle!

EDIT: Engineer, you forgot to give us our 3 TC each.

Yeah GG dummy. This was my first battle using Dreeko in hee fully evolved form, certainly packs a punch. Thanks for reffing too Engineer!
