Among Starmie it is common for them to gather on beaches, and it is said that they glitter like rubies in the evening. However, there are only a select few which glitter like diamonds. The diamond Starmie, or Rumor profundi as the legends themselves name them, are like gods within their colonies, and it is quite clear as to why. Their mastery over the elements of Water, Ice and even Electricity is unequaled, and it is a foolish thing to get close to them.

It is also said that as they grow weary of their long lives, the Rumor profundi set out to find an opponent worthy of dying against. Alchemator foresaw this occurrence in the behaviour of the waves, and the storms that accompany a travelling Rumor profundi, and intercepted this one. It is but a thin line between foolishness and bravery, and the later-named Steve leaned towards the second when Alchemator came unarmed. Thus, Steve continues his journey with Alchemator, trying to find the opponent for whom he was searching.

Anna is next, flinging an Energy Ball (12 Damage / -6 EN). Revenankh takes control with a Shadow Punch in Alchemator's face (20 Damage / -3 EN). Tyranitar Digs (-10 EN) underground, as Christopher swings-and-a-misses with a Hammer Arm (-7 EN ~ -1 Speed). And I'm back... to see Alchemator use Protect (-7 EN) We follow up with Steve blasting Revenankh with a Psyshock (19 Damage / -5 EN), for a hefty chunk of damage. Heracross responds with anger, flipping off the Purple Starfish with a Megahorn (32 Damage / 2 Recoil / -15 EN). The spotlight switches to Alexander, who sets up a Reflect (-7 EN)... but the lack of targets make it wrap around just himself! Anna now uses a Psychic (18 Damage / -9 EN) on Revenankh, who in a last ditch effort gives Alchemator a Shadow Punch... which fizzles out vs the protect (20 Damage (Blokced for 7 EN) / -7 EN). Scraggy is up next, also hitting Alchemator with a Crunch (17 Damage (Blocked for 6 EN) / -5 EN). Christopher wraps up the bandages (pun...laugh dammit!) with a Zen Headbutt (21 Damage / -9 EN) to Revenankh which knocks out the mummy! Requiem finishes up by launching a Will-O-Wisp... at Gallade. Fail (-7 EN).

And with such sudden changes, Steve conjures up a Hydro Pump and flings the torrent into Dusknoir (14 Damage / -9 EN), the Reaper Cloth acting as a sort of EN boosting curse. Heracross is now sick of Alchemator, and promptly stabs the alien with a Megahorn (25 Damage / -19 EN / -2 HP Recoil). This is short lived as Alexander bestows a Heal Pulse on Alchemator (+20 HP / -13 EN). Anna now flings a Shadow Ball at Dusknoir (10 Damage / -8 EN), as Scraggy jumps on Anna and slams some Payback (22 Damage / -6 EN) into Anna's skull. Requiem rushes in with a Hex (23 Damage / -6 EN), as Alchemator finishes up with a Shadow Ball to Requiem (12 Damage / -8 EN). 2 Actions of burn damage strike Alexander (-4 HP), since it's easier to just knock them off at the end if a KO is not gonna be influenced (I promise I'll remember next round :3)

Steve begins with a Protect, creating a glowing shield around it's limbs (-7 EN). Heracross ignores this, and pummels Alexander with a Aerial Ace on Gallade, which is mainly filtered through by reflect (6 Damage / 2 Recoil / -4 EN). Alexander now tempts fate... and performs a Pain Split on Scraggy (Gallade & Scraggy 65 HP Each / -23 EN). Anna follows through with a Shadow Ball to Dusknoir (-10 HP / -12 EN). Scraggy now Crunches on Anna, causing the Giraffe's eyes to well up with tears (19 Damage / -5 EN). Christopher is pissed off due to Requiem breathing, so bestows a Shadow Ball upon Requiem (8 Damage / -8 EN). Dusknoir seems focussed on preparing something, so Alchemator launches his own Shadow Ball (12 Damage / -12 EN). Suddenly, Dusknoir fires a Hex + Shadow Ball combo at Alexander (32 Damage / -19 EN), which seriously injures the fighter! Alongside the burn damage he takes as well (-2 HP)

Heracross switches targets, with a Megahorn on Anna (32 Damage / 2 Recoil / -7 EN). Alexander gives Alchemator a Heal Pulse, keeping the alien alive (+20 HP Alchemator/ -13 EN). Anna and Christopher each lob a Shadow Ball at Requiem (18 Damage Requiem / -16 EN Anna / -12 EN Christopher). Alchemator finishes off the ghost with yet another Shadow Ball (12 Damage / -16 EN). Burn damage to Gallade x.x

Suddenly, in the background, an orchestra starts playing some music in the background.
