So this week I decided to spice it up a little and include a stall team made by Slowbroth, which usually require different things to break in comparison to balance and offense. It features an interesting win condition in Calm Mind Sableye and a very uncommon pokemon in Vullaby. Good luck breaking this... But to make it more interesting; Magmortar, Pinsir and Abomasnow are banned for this round!
This team gets overwhelmed by hard hitting special attackers like Drampa real quick, but also grass/electric setup sweepers can cut through this team like hot butter through a knife. Drampa can 2hko the entire team with it's stabs and with Clefairy gone, you have basically won. Lilligant on the other hand can setup on most members of the team. Only Vullaby and Miltank are checks to her and they won't take a +1 Breakneck Blitz after rocks. This duo should be paired with a fighting resist and an healing wish user (Mesprit) to give them a second chance to sweep/break through.
252+ SpA Choice Specs Drampa Hyper Voice vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Miltank: 333-393 (84.5 - 99.7%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252+ SpA Choice Specs Drampa Hyper Voice vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Eviolite Clefairy: 157-186 (45.6 - 54%) -- 45.3% chance to 2HKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Drampa Hyper Voice vs. 248 HP / 4 SpD Assault Vest Mudsdale: 190-225 (47.1 - 55.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ SpA Choice Specs Drampa Hyper Voice vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Vullaby: 237-279 (69 - 81.3%) -- 50% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252+ SpA Choice Specs Drampa Hyper Voice vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Pyukumuku: 150-177 (47.7 - 56.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252+ SpA Choice Specs Drampa Draco Meteor vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Sableye: 510-601 (168.3 - 198.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Nasty Plot lets Alolan Raichu get to +2 and basically Destroy this team with its STAB combination of Thunderbolt and Psyshock. Z-Focus Blast is a nice nuke at +2 being able to OHKO Miltank and potentially OHKOing Mudsdale with it.
+2 252 SpA Raichu All-Out Pummeling (190 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Miltank: 862-1016 (218.7 - 257.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 SpA Raichu All-Out Pummeling (190 BP) vs. 248 HP / 4 SpD Mudsdale: 367-432 (91 - 107.1%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO
Lilligant (F) @ Life Orb
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sleep Powder
- Quiver Dance
- Energy Ball
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Lilligant can switch in on Mudsdale if u dont feel like going for the roll with Alolan-Raichu, or don't get the opportunity to setup. Lilligant can easily kill this team off when paired with Alolan Raichu and the opponent will have to make some very hard reads to stay ahead.
Had the best moveset for Dedenne but it's not in VR :[
Reserving Mawile + Crabominable
Crabominable @ Life Orb
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
- Ice Hammer
- Power-Up Punch
- Bulk Up
- Close Combat
Mawile @ Leftovers
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
- Play Rough
- Swords Dance
- Iron Head
Now Mawile and Crabominable are not the best Pokemon in the PU tier but they can do some damage. First of all, that team is a defensive team so I had to go with 2 attackers. Crabomonable Doesn't have the best typing but with its high attack stat it can take out 3-4/6 Pokemon while Mawile can take out 4 Pokemon as well. Even with the teams high Defense and Special Defense, it will still be no match for Mawile and Crabomonable. The only Pokemon that I had to look out for was Pykumuku but yet Crabomonable's Close Combat can easily 2HKO it

2. Cores can have 2 or 3 mons, and sets as well as at least 2 lines of explanation will be required as to how that core destroys the team for that week. You can also talk about the weaknesses of the team being broken if you wish. In addition, all Pokemon nominated must be on the viability list or have "extremely" well known niches. Anybody who posts crap like Special Machoke will have their posts deleted. Also no Shedinja thanks.
The goal here is for these two to abuse the fact that there is no Normal-type resist on the team, and Sableye doesn’t count due to Kangaskhan’s Scrappy allowing it to use its STABs against it. Kangaskhan with Facade can cleanly 2HKO every Pokemon on the team sans Miltank and Mudsdale after it gets burned and Rocks go up, but it’s still a roll with them. And Drampa can cleanly 2HKO every Pokemon on the team with Hyper Voice and/or Draco Meteor except Clefairy and Sableye if it managed to pull off two or more Calm Minds after Rocks go up, but again, it’s a roll for them. One weakens or flat-out removes what can potentially serve to annoy the other.
Essentially, Ninetales can set up against Clefairy and Sableye and then OHKO basically every Pokemon on the team other than that damn Pyukumuku. Alolan Raichu can pretty freely set up on Pyukumuku, which Ninetales cannot. Luckily, Ninetales can work together with Alolan Raichu (which can obliterate the team on its own accord) to break through the team and weaken Pyukumuku. Essentially, one of them sets up and blows up the opposing team, allowing for the other to come in and finish the job.
Edit: Toxic on Ninetales is a potential option if you really want to beat that Pyukumuku with it but Energy Ball makes the set itself viable in other cases.
+2 252 SpA Flame Plate Ninetales Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Miltank: 420-495 (106.8 - 125.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+2 252 SpA Flame Plate Ninetales Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 4 SpD Mudsdale: 357-421 (88.5 - 104.4%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
+2 252 SpA Flame Plate Ninetales Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Vullaby: 297-351 (86.5 - 102.3%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO

So, idk what my process was, but I eventually arrived to the fact that Specs Haunter 2HKOs this entire team with the right move. However, that obviously comes with the price of being locked into a move, so I added Tangela as a pivot that especially deals with Mudsdale. Toxic also lets Tang 1v1 Miltank and stall it out of Heal Bells. Sleep Powder gives Haunter a free turn to switch in and Knock Off helps Haunter better handle Vullaby and Clefairy.
Edit: Just now saw you can post 3 mons so I figured I'd put some weird flex in the last spot that helped more with getting past Miltank. Sub-Bulk Up Mold Breaker Throh can just annihilate this team as it can set up on pretty much everything and the only thing that can break its Sub in one hit is Mudsdale, so that becomes a roll after a Bulk Up. Focus Punch is able to hit everything for good damage and Ice Punch better handles Mudsdale and hits Sableye.
Qwilfish's Spikes and T-Spikes support puts a lot of pressure on this team as it relies on Vullaby to defog which is outsped and Taunted, the spread also outruns Miltank and can Taunt that before it gets up Stealth Rock. Rotom-F is able to threaten most of the team with its STABs, it can beat Clefairy 1v1 with Pain Split and Subzero Slammer and beats Sableye 1v1 with T-Spikes up.
