This week we have an interesting semi-stall team by LordST centred around the core of Tangela + Type: Null (yes I do take full credit for this core) along with defensive pivots such as Lanturn and Regirock. Quite a difficult team to break in my opinion, and you'll need to be a bit creative (especially when you see what I've banned).

Abomasnow, Alolan Raichu and Magmortar are banned this round. You have until Thursday!

They beat this team. I forgot to finish this. Thank you for your time.

Fairly straightforward core; Simipour sets up easily thanks to the passive nature of the team and threatens the entire team with its coverage. All Out Pummeling gets severely weakens Lanturn and OHKOs Type: Null. Combusken benefits from Lanturn and Type: Null being weakened, and can threaten the rest of the team (weezing, tangela, regirock, etc) with its STABs.

Combusken @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fire Blast
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Protect

Simipour @ Fightinium Z
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature

- Nasty Plot
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam

Reserving Camerupt, Musharna, and Poliwrath.

Camerupt @ Leftovers
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flamethrower
- Earth Power
- Rock Polish
- Stealth Rock

Musharna @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Heal Bell
- Moonlight
- Psychic

Poliwrath @ Assault Vest
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Power-Up Punch
- Waterfall
- Poison Jab
- Circle Throw

Assault Vest Poliwrath is an underrated set but this time I'm gonna show you why Assault Vest Poliwrath is very good. First of all, Poliwrath is one of those Pokemon that has a Great attack stat and a Bulky Sp. Def Stat kinda like Magmartor. Ok, now which Pokemon takes which? Poliwrath takes care of Type: null and Regirock Now i wanted to go for an attacker instead of a Special Attacker because those 2 are Special walls instead of physical walls. Camerupt takes care of Tangela, Skuntank, and Lanturn. Now Lanturn with the type against him is no good but with solid rock, it can pretty much survive a scald from lanturn. And with Musharna takes care of Weezing it can also take care of some other mons because of Calm Mind and Moonlight.

Carracosta @ Life Orb
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Stone Edge
- Shell Smash
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam

Clefairy @ Eviolite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Seismic Toss
- Soft-Boiled
- Healing Wish
- Stealth Rock

Specially-based LO mixed Carracosta can basically 6-0 with rocks up and it's able to set up on Type: Null, Regirock and Skuntank pretty easily. Clefairy is basically just there to set up Stealth Rock and if u don't wanna risk the 87.5% roll on Lanturn lol.

  • +2 252 SpA Life Orb Carracosta Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Eviolite Tangela: 507-598 (151.7 - 179%) -- guaranteed OHKO

  • +2 4 Atk Life Orb Carracosta Stone Edge vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Eviolite Type: Null: 208-247 (52.7 - 62.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
  • 0 Atk Type: Null Return vs. -1 0 HP / 0 Def Carracosta: 62-73 (21.4 - 25.2%) -- 0.1% chance to 4HKO

  • +2 252 SpA Life Orb Carracosta Hydro Pump vs. 248 HP / 140 SpD Regirock: 601-710 (165.5 - 195.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
  • 104 Atk Regirock Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Solid Rock Carracosta: 93-111 (32.1 - 38.4%) -- 96.7% chance to 3HKO

  • +2 252 SpA Life Orb Carracosta Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Weezing: 460-542 (137.7 - 162.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

  • +2 252 SpA Life Orb Carracosta Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 108 SpD Skuntank: 441-519 (127 - 149.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
  • 252+ Atk Skuntank Crunch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Carracosta: 90-106 (31.1 - 36.6%) -- 68.7% chance to 3HKO

  • +2 4 Atk Life Orb Carracosta Stone Edge vs. 40 HP / 220 Def Lanturn: 341-403 (85 - 100.4%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Drampa is a major thorn in the team's side, but it can't handle everything on its own. Gurdurr aids it by giving it a good way of dealing with Regirock and Type: Null, and it beats Skuntank, which annoys the other two. Finally, Mesprit gets up the Rocks, which secures the 2HKO on Lanturn with Hyper Voice, can also beat Weezing for Gurdurr, can get both of them in with a slow U-Turn, and has Healing Wish just in case either get weakened too much.

Drampa @ Choice Specs
Ability: Sap Sipper
Happiness: 252
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hyper Voice
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Focus Blast

Gurdurr @ Eviolite
Ability: Guts
EVs: 248 HP / 56 Atk / 200 Def / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Bulk Up
- Knock Off

Mesprit @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
Happiness: 252
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe
Bold Nature
- Psychic
- U-turn
- Stealth Rock
- Healing Wish

Taskr is our winner this week, so congratulations buddy! Let's look at a team by Aaronboyer!

Raichu-Alola @ Aloraichium Z
Ability: Surge Surfer
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Psychic
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast

Primeape @ Choice Band
Ability: Vital Spirit
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- U-turn

Skuntank @ Black Sludge
Ability: Aftermath
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Defog
- Sucker Punch
- Pursuit
- Poison Jab

Carracosta @ White Herb
Ability: Solid Rock
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Shell Smash
- Aqua Jet
- Stone Edge
- Ice Beam

Mesprit @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Ice Beam
- Signal Beam

Archeops
Ability: Defeatist
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Acrobatics
- Stone Edge
- Earth Power
- Roost

This is an interesting offence team made by Aaronboyer, featuring lesser used sets in Nasty Plot Z move Alolan Raichu (not Focus Blast, which I know is common) and offensive Mesprit. It also shows off mixed Archeops, which helps break down bulky Rock-types and Mixed Shell Smash Carracosta. Quite an interesting team if I do say so myself!

You have until Sunday!

Reserving Abomasnow and Liepard

Abomasnow @ Assault Vest
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpA
Brave Nature
- Blizzard
- Giga Drain
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide

Liepard @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt
- Dark Pulse
- Thunder Wave
- Nasty Plot

Abomasnow, Snow Warning, Blizzard is definitely one of the more useful sets it uses since it can pretty much kill everything in its path, And with Liepard with Prankster Thunder Wave can also be useful since the team is a speedy team. But the only thing it can't Thunder wave is Alolan-Raichu but with Nasty Plot and Dark Pulse Alolan-Raichu won't survive a +2 Dark Pulse. Abomasnow with Giga Drain is a nice addition for STAB and to regain health while also OHKO'ing Carracosta. Earthquake on Abomasnow for Stunktank and it's only weakness to Ground And with an attack stat like Abomasnow it won't survive that.
