There's a bug related to Skill Swap in Doubles.
I was playing in a Doubles format (VGC 2016 to be exact) and was facing a Bronzong. Throughout the game, it never revealed its ability in any way, but when it used Skill Swap on its own partner (a Primal Kyogre), on the Pokémon info box that appears there was "Ability: Primordial Sea (base: Levitate)" on Bronzong and "Ability: Levitate (base: Primordial Sea)" on Kyogre. In game, Skill Swapping your partner won't reveal abilities (outside of those that activate like Primordial Sea), I shouldn't be able to know that the Bronzong had Levitate originally.

in game when you skill swap someone it show's both abilities before swapping them. Just look up oras battles on cart where they use skill swap or try it yourself

It only does this when you skill swap with one the opponent's pokemon. If you swap with a pokemon on your own side it reveals no additional information to your opponent.

edit: As seen here with the swap between the Gengar and Scizor on the same side

That property of Payback was only present in Gen IV.
Back to this topic, on Veekun it states "Inflicts regular damage. If the target uses a move or switches out this turn before this move is used, this move has double power." and I know it says dont use Bulbapedia but it also states this "
Generation IV
Payback inflicts damage. Its power doubles to 100 if the user moves after the target, if the target switches out, or if the opponent uses an item.

Generation V
Payback no longer deals double damage if the target switches out.

Generation VI
Payback inflicts double damage if the target switches out for a maximum of 100." on there also

so shouldnt it be double damage?

Hello. I'm here to report a possible bug.

I'm the owner of the accounts Zymphraxl, Aakhryzellvoxis and Zyxwraollzephael. Unfortunately, for some reason, I can't log in any account at all, though I'm using the correct passwords. It keeps saying ''Wrong Password'' and won't let me long in. I tried to make another account just for testing, called Saucy Red Sauce, with the password being saucysauce1234. Logged out, tried to log in, same thing. Wrong Password, even though I typed it correctly.

That means I cannot go in any account at all, after I log out, even though the password is correct. What could the problem be?

PS: Browser = Google Chrome, lastest version.

Hello, i'm here to report a bug.

My Tyranitar with Sand Stream and the smooth rock summoned a Sandstorm that have only last 5 turns. Later in the game, it last the regular 8 turns. The 5 turns sandstorm was summoned on the very first turn (he was the starter of the game)

Gardevoir was on the other side of Tyranitar and had Trace, so it traced Sandstorm. Gardevoir is faster than Tyranitar, so as you can see if you read the battle log closely, Gardevoir, that did not have a Smooth Rock, was the one setting up sand turn 1.

Not 100% sure if this is the best place to report a bug for the OMotM, but here:

Arceus in any form that requires a Plate can be used in Follow the Leader.
Genesect in any form that requires a Drive can be used in Follow the Leader.
All you have to do is select them in their base forms, similarly to the previous Uber Mega and Primal error. You can then give whatever item and, of course, the ability and movepool of the first mon as usual.

*Tested with Giratina-Origin, doesn't work for it.

Bit of a glitch, don't know why but:
On iOS Browsers the battle volume mixer doesn't work at all (Tested on Chrome and Safari)
On PC/Mac battle volume mixer only works for music, not effects. So turning off effects doesn't work, basically.

It's the showdown teambuilder, when i add a new pokemon, the bar goes way up, which is more of a nuisance than anything but a bug nevertheless. This has happened to me over 3 devices. Strangely not much other people seem to suffer this issue, except me and another aussie dude, is something up with that?

I have noticed a bug with the teambuilder. I selected doubles uu as my tier but when I go to choose a pokemon it just gives me a list of all pokemon in alphabetical order. They aren't separated into tiers either. Not sure if this is an issue with other tiers but it needs to be fixed :/

Also "validating" my team doesn't seem to work either as I selected pokemon from ubers in my doubles uu team and was able to validate it no problem.

which ubers are you using? doubles uses a different banlist than singles and some pokemon like darkrai are doubles underused
doubles formats also dont get separated into tiers in the teambuilder (but that might come soon to ps)

I honestly don't know where exactly I'm supposed to post this due to the lack of an obvious bug report thread or a complaint address. (Feel free to move this if there is an appropriate place to put this, mods.)

Anyway, my problem is that, while I was creating a new team, my game suddenly shut down, and, while I was looking at the new team I was creating, I noticed one of my other teams have completely disappeared. I looked up this issue online and found looking in AppData for local files in Google Chrome will restore the teams, but I'm not using Google Chrome. I'm using the downloadable client for Windows and I have no idea how to retrieve my missing team. Can someone please help me with my issue? I won't be using Pokemon Showdown until I find out whether I can fix this to prevent the possibility of my (nu) team from being overwritten if I were to be able to fix this. Thanks in advance.

Hey, I have something that may or may not be a bug - depends on interpretation of endless battle clause.

Replay of the game: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/followtheleader-413159998

In this game, around turn ~50 his regirock gets setup and unkillable. However, it only has stone edge (PP 8) as an attacking move, so I stall it out and then wait for him to eventually struggle or switch. To not waste PP myself, I generally end up just switching. However, the endless battle clause kicks in because Regirock was paralyzed and technically didn't lose HP or PP for a couple moves in a row. Is this intended, or just did the game terminate too early? You notice I start using moves later on because I got notifications about endless battle clause, so I tried to keep it going. If it isn't a bug, what are the mechanics exactly to avoid this?

Mew's Pokemon XD exclusive attack move legality isn't working correctly. Mew can never have two or more XD exclusive moves and Pokemon Showdown does not enforce this.

Mew does not receive these special attacks in the way that move tutors are traditionally taught. An NPC deletes Mew's entire moveset and replaces it with 4 new moves, among them sometimes the special XD only moves. You can see a video demonstration of the process here. Thomaz has done research into the possible moves that can be taught this way. In every possible outcome, Mew can never have two XD exclusive attacks. Pokemon Showdown should enforce this properly since, at the moment, Mew can have a whole moveset of these attacks. There are some competitive implications behind this, particularly for doubles where Fake Out + Night Shade have some limited uses.

The only real exception to this is the move Role Play which can be taught by Move Tutor in later generations.
