I lost a few minutes ago due to time. Here is the scenario

I clicked to take my turn, and it said waiting on opponent. About a minute went by, and the opponent hit the timer button. However as the time went by it said that I had xx seconds left.

I tried everything that I could but I couldn't move on and take my turn, so I lost due to time because of this.

Just wanted to bring this to your attention.

Mold Breaker doesn't seem to break through unaware like its supposed to, as my +2 Fraxure was only able to manage 37% against a Quagsire. I checked bulbapedia and veekun and Mold Breaker is in fact supposed to go through unaware, so that should dispell any confusion over which one cancels out which. This almost cost me the match without those crits lol :(.

    Log of the event: http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/ru-20709072

Link to bulbapedia for confirmation: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Mold_Breaker_(Ability)

    Link to veekun for confirmation:
    http://veekun.com/dex/abilities/mold breaker

EDIT: just realized this bug has been reported quite a bit, and its on the known bugs list (sorry for not reading that first x_x) why hasnt it been fixed yet? :/. Is it harder to fix than expected or something?

It could be done with a simple code modification assuming my hunch is correct... I'll test it when my computer starts working again.

EDIT: herp derp clearly i don't know how roost works, ignore this, thanks.

    http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/ou-20837145

    Watch from Turn 23 onwards:

    Turn 23
    The foe's Gliscor used Protect!
    The foe's Gliscor protected itself!

    Skarmory used Roost!
    Skarmory regained health!
    The sandstorm rages.

    Turn 24
    The foe's Gliscor used Earthquake!
    It doesn't affect Skarmory...

Ctrl+F/Search in Known Bugs don't appear to bring up Roost, and according to Veekun, it should have been super effective against Skarmory....

EDIT: Perhaps the aforementioned list should be updated? http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?p=4609052&highlight=Roost#post4609052

You used Roost turn 23, he used Earthquake turn 24. Not seeing how it should have hit...

I know that this is totally possible with probabilities and such, but I have NEVER seen hypnosis miss once. I've seen hypnosis used about 10-15 times over the course of several battles, and like I said before, it's never missed.

That's between .047% (with 15 in a row) and .605% (with 10 in a row) chance of ever happening. I know it's entirely possible. But it still might be worth looking into?

Nope, you're just unlucky (and me too since I usually miss with Hypnosis)

Just a few move legality bugs to report

    1) Shell Smash+Sucker Punch is allowed on huntail when the combination is actually illegal.

Replay of Huntail using the two moves together: http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/ru-21015869 (btw, i'm not the trousers guy, i was watching the match as bravbrav)

The only way that Huntail can learn Shell Smash is by being evolved from a gen5 Clamperl, and the only way for Huntail to learn sucker punch is via a move tutor that only exists in gen4, where Shell Smash doesn't exist as a move. Clamperl can't learn the Sucker Punch tutor, so the two moves end up being illegal (it'd be pretty cool if you could get both together tbh :(). (btw i'm not the trousers guy lol, i was watching as bravbrav)

    2) Head Smash Probopass

    Head Smash Probopass (open)

Also, Head Smash is listed as a legal move on Probopass. I know that Head Smash used to be an egg move for nose and probo back in HG/SS, but because of an oversight nothing was able to pass down the move to them that was available in that generation, making the move completely unobtainable. Iirc Head Smash is removed from Probopass's egg moves in gen5 because of that, so theres no chance of the move becoming legal in the future either afaik.

When making a Seismitoad in Teambuilder, a set of Stealth Rock/Scald/Earthquake/Toxic suggests a nature that raises and lowers defense.

Encore does not work when an opponent no longer has enough PP to use a move. They should be forced to struggle, but instead it will say the encore ended (if they ran out before the 3 turns encore was locking it into the move) or it will say Encore failed.

Possible bug with Copycat+Hidden Power (Turn 11): http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/lc-30555026

Riolu Copycats Misdreavus' HP Fighting and it hits. (You can see Hidden Power hitting Ferroseed super effectively on Turn 10 and you'll just have to trust me that it's HP Fighting and not HP Fire).

Um, that's how Copycat is supposed to work.

Copycat copies the move. Just because we call it "HP Fighting" doesn't mean that it's actually a move. The move is Hidden Power.

Riolu's IVs are flat 31's, so when it uses Hidden Power, it's Dark type.

Eject button switched the foe out before you did. Since, technically, you didn't hit the new foe, U-turn will not switch you out. It's like the gimmick that prevents you from U-turning out on an ordinary Shedinja, or Volt Switching out on a ground type. They were immune to said attack and didn't get "hit" by it.

These are the correct mechanics; to quote the smogon page on Encore,(http://www.smogon.com/bw/moves/encore) "If the affected move runs out of PP, the effect ends."
I also checked bulbapedia, (even though it's not considered a legit source) and it does confirm that "If the victim of Encore runs out of PP on the affected move, the effects of Encore end immediately."
So the mechanics are certainly correct.
To quote Veekun: "if the selected move has 0 PP remaining, this move will fail."

However, if you were to use Encore + Disable or Encore + Torment, that would force the opponent to either struggle until the effects wore off or cause them to struggle every other turn, respectively. But Encore alone will not force someone to Struggle.

Hey I was playing against shadow tag Gothitelle and I tried to switch against it just to make sure and it said I'm trapped. But, it didn't let me make a move or anything and I was forced to timeout. Not sure if this has been mentioned before.

    New Bug?

Okay so whenever I battle on Showdown both mine and my opponents sprites are not moving at all. The attacks also have no animation. This was not happening to me earlier, but just started yesterday. I can screen shot something if that would help? Thanks in advance!

Sorry if this is a known bug, but currently Foul Play uses his target's item for damage calculation, the correct mecanism would be to use the user's item

    From the research thread :
I feel this is important, since Foul Play has become pretty common in UU and RU (Umbreon, Sableye, Spiritomb).

Malaconda cannot be found by searching the on-site Pokedex, even though the page exists for it.

Edit: Additionally, the shiny Kyogre back sprite is still discolored with the blue highlight on its otherwise pink body.
