Glacier was a very chill (ignore the pun) person. He rarely got upset, and he never really showed any negative emotions. but today was a change of pace. As soon as he woke up he had a scowl on his face, with his nose wrinkled up as if he smelled iiMKultra's three day old boxers (alch said it not me!). He grumbled and groaned, and it took his Mamoswine lifting up up with his enormus tusks and carrying him out the door just to step out of the house.

Now why would this usually cheerful Trainer be wishing that he didn't exist? be today he was slated for Tournament arena ref duty, the most boring of judges. Unlike being able to ref in the deep jungles of Hoenn, or in the mountains of Sinnoh, the Arena provided no interesting flavor or style. just a big, musty arena.

"OK, let's do this." Glacier murmured spitefully as his Mamoswine dropped him off in the arena. Dogfish and Lupus were already there, and they were slightly thrown off at Glacier's appearance- he as still wearing his pajamas. Glacier gave him a cold (more puns yay) glare, then spat, "Begin already!" LupusAter dropped his balls (poke) and Dogfish gave a small whimper, but nonetheless they began.

Resist the onslaught Rust! More importantly, activate both Plus and Minus for 2 extra damage per attack ^.^

Open with a Flash Cannon. Then Thunderbolt, then Flash Cannon.

Round 1: The Disaster Detector vs the Big Gear that beats things up

To start things off Hel gives Rust a large glare, and starts speaking in tounges (well pokemon, but point is we can't understand!). although we dont know what the heck she's saying Rust sure does, and it looks like she sure taunted it! In retaliation Rust starts to glow, and angrily releases a shot from its deadly Flash Cannon!

Taunt: Hel -9 energy, Rust can only attack for six actions
Flash Cannon: Rust -7 energy, Hel -16HP

Hel brushes off that last attack and decides to give Rust a little Pay-back! Although it doesnt get a bonus or any it still hits for decent damage that can't be beat! Until Rust decides to trump that little attack with a Bolt of lightning! wait, the move is Thunder Bolt? but Thunder doesn't go into a bolt.......... Well while the ref has to think over everything he has been taught we see Hel getting the shock of her life!

Pay-Back: Hel -6 energy, Rust -8HP
Thunder Bolt: Rust -9 energy, Hel -15 HP

As the second part of round one ends we see Hel fall to the ground and stay there, burned fur filling the nostrils of the ref and the crowd. Klang cautiously hovers towards the fallen Absol, charging up a Flash Cannon along the way. Surely the metal hunk shows no mercy! But its alright because as soon as the Klang gets close enough Hel springs up and socks the gear right in the center with a Sucker Punch! That made Rust feel something, but it merely shirks the pain off and finishes the cannon, right in Hel's face! She skids back, almost to the edge of the moat, but she manages to stand her ground! Hel gives a snarl and a glare, waiting for the next commands!

Sucker Punch: Hel -5 energy, Rust -10HP
Flash Cannon: Rust -7 energy, Hel -16HP

Round 2: Big gears don't cry

Oh no! Hel hasn't even been attacked yet and already she's sprawled on the ground! Rust once again cautiously hovers forward to get a better look, and then BLAM! Helpulls off another successful Sucker Punch! Rust isn't happy, in fact it looks like the giant gear is wearing out! but i guess its not too tired, because the Thunder Bolt it sends out still looks strong.

Sucker Punch: Hel -5 energy, Rust -10HP
Thunder Bolt: Rust -9 energy, Hel -15HP

Time for some Pay-Back! Hel brings her head spike up hard, knocking Rust back and further damaging it! The gear though shows no sign of stopping, and releases a round from its Flash Cannon! Hel gives a cry of pain; how long can she hold up against this metal monster?

Pay-Back: Hel -6 energy, Rust -8HP
Flash Cannon: Rust -7 energy, Hel -16HP

You would think that after faking twice already if Rust saw Hel fall to the ground he wouldn't fall for her tricks right? well i guess the gear doesn't have a brain, because AGAIN it has fallen for Hel's Sucker Punch! A quick Thunder Bolt shuts up her attempts of rebellion though. Rust is dominating this match, but can Hel step it up and defeat the bulky gear?

Sucker Punch: Hel -5 energy, Rust -10HP
Thunder Bolt: Rust -9 energy, Hel -15HP
