Koa: I love you as an artist (the peekaboo pokemon was too awesome) but I just don't feel this one. Sorry.

very interesting watching the cap process, so many different deigns its hard to chose just one =O

I'm just a newbie, but in my opinion, Doran Dragon's design epitomizes the risk/reward concept that will be integral to this Pokemon. It looks dangerous, and yet frail. Excellent. Calad is second because of the same reasons; however, Doran gets the edge for me because of the extra coolness. 1st to 3rd also explicitly show their Bug/Psychic typing. KoA is 4th because it looks a bit more like a Bug/Ghost type. Same thing for Mos-Quitoxe (Bug/Poison) and Ylix (Bug/Steel). However, all the entries are extremely well done. I know we can debate forever about what a pokemon "looks like," but I mostly avoided entries that put what I thought was too much effort into explicitly showing the Psychic type, because that type is often quite subtle in official pokemon.
