    And Colossoil is exceptionally powerful as is. However, it's difficult to see how it could really be retooled, from my perspective.

    Why not have Rebound be a "free, can be activated Rapid Spin" that costs no energy and bypasses type immunities, but has all repercussions of Rapid Spin and is Tauntable?

    Or you could make Rebound a Magic Bounce that only works on the turn Collosoil switches in (like Syclant's Mountanier), altough if this is too powerful (it is) It could return a random hazzard from the ones that are on the field (or just being unaffected by hazzards in general might work)

    So I way dropped the ball on this. Which is amusing because I had a post made up and I said "eh, I'll do it later." Then six months of later happened.

    In any case, the whole thing needs an update and I'll get to that now.

    Colosshale (open)

    Evolution: Colosshale -> Level-Up with Dig -> Colossoil
    Type: Dark/Water
    Dark: Dark STAB; Immunity to all telepathic and telekinetic attacks, better performance in all darkened and especially twilight conditions. Can use any Dark-type attack regardless of Attraction.
    Water: Water STAB; Can breathe and have excellent mobility when underwater, are less capable on land unless they are entirely amphibious.

    Abilities:
    Rebound: (Can Be Activated) The Pokemon is able to bounce one layer of an entry hazard back from their side of the field to the other side with their immense strength and intuition.
    Storm Drain: (Innate) This Pokemon lures all water attacks to itself, altering their course away from partner Pokemon. It absorbs the water and increases its Special Attack by one (1) stage. This boost is maintained at the end of each round.
    Flare Boost (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon's body can harness the heat from a burn into internal energy, fueling its mental capabilities. When Burned, the Pokemon's special attacks have two (2) more Base Attack Power.

    Ground: Ground STAB; Immune to all electrical attacks, can Dig through almost any substance, Evasive Digging reduced from 3 per action Energy Cost to 2 per action, superior senses in darkened cave surroundings.

    Abilities:
    Rebound: (Can Be Activated) The Pokemon is able to bounce one layer of an entry hazard back from their side of the field to the other side with their immense strength and intuition.
    Guts: (Innate) This Pokemon is tenacious and will work ever harder when under a status condition, raising the base attack power of all its physical attacks by two (2). Pokemon with Guts ignore the attack drop from burn.
    Pressure (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon’s presence fills the air with intense anxiety, and any damaging or status attack launched at this Pokemon costs the opposing Pokemon two (2) more energy to perform.

    Deleted Moves:
    Crunch (+1 MC) and Sunny Day (+2 MC) can no longer be learned by Colosshale.
    Torment (+2 MC) and Venoshock (+2MC) have been removed entirely.

    New Moves:
    Drill Run is a Lv 0 Colossoil move.
    Foul Play is an Egg Move.
    Additional Non-CAP canon moves are Bubblebeam (Lv), Bulldoze (TM), Dragon Tail (Soil TM), Echoed Voice(TM), Mud Bomb (Egg), Mud Shot (Egg), Muddy Water (Lv), Quash (TM), Retaliate (TM), Round (TM), Sludge Bomb (TM), Sludge Wave (TM), Smack Down (Soil TM), Snarl (TM), Tackle (Lv), and Water Spout (Egg).

    Move Shifts:

    Aqua Tail and Dive are now Previous Gen Tutor only.
    Dark Pulse is now Previous Gen TM Only.
    Dig is now Level-Up Only.
    Mud Bomb and Mud Shot are now Egg only.

    New Lv 25 Moveset for Colosshale:

    Other Notes:

    The change to Rebound's text officially ocurred quite a while ago in the DAT, somehow it never got changed in the CAP data. It is the correct description of Rebound.
