CAP Metagame "Challenges"

(approved by HeaLnDeaL, idea from the Challenges room on Pokemon Showdown.) (Art is 100% original, and also by Sunfished )

In the spirit of the now deceased Challenges Room (rip), the CAP Challenge Leaderboard is live! Spice up your ladder life with some self-imposed, optional challenges that are sure to get you to stop using Colossoil and Tomohawk on every team.

RULES:

Forfeits do not count as a win. However, if the match is undoubtably a win in your favor (This is at our discretion), then it will count towards your score.

Any blatant attempts to game the system is bad and you should feel bad. Cause it'll be denied.

Only matches in the CAP format will be recognized.

All matches must be on the CAP ladder on the main Pokemon Showdown server, unless specified.

Each replay submitted can only be valid for one challenge at a time.

HOW IT WORKS:

When you successfully complete a challenge, you can submit a replay of the battle to any of the co-ordinators. They will verify it, and give you points based on the worth of the challenge, and your ranking included in the replay.

HOW TO SUBMIT A REPLAY:

You must PM replays to Exclaimer , cbrevan , Sota Higurashi, or Broken Phobias via Smogon Forums. Alternatively, you could send a PM on Pokemon Showdown. Make sure to include the ladder rankings at the end of the replay, the name of the challenge, as well as the name of whatever alt you used in the replay.

If you PM a replay on Showdown, the coordinator will confirm it by replying. If they do not reply, contact another coordinator via Smogon Forums PM.

I've changed the difficulty of "Defying the Odds" to Hard, because nobody has managed to do it and I underestimated how difficult that actually is.

Edit: And then someone did it. congrats

12ish hour warning! Will crown the first week champion at 4:00 PM Central Time, and will post new challenges immediately after.

NEW CHALLENGES ARE UP!

Congrats to gday for winning this week's challenges. Only one to complete them all, winning with a landslide 108 points.

New changes to challenges for this week.

1) 7 challenges instead of 6. One for each day of the week!

2) No more tournament challenges. These were dependant on factors outside of the player's control, so I removed all tournament based challenges from here on.

Perfect MVP: Win a match where one Pokemon KO's all six of the opponent's Pokemon. (Hard)

Thirst for Power: Win a match after dealing at least 75% damage with a not-very-effective move. (Hard)

So not only is "Use Cawmodore on a team" listed as a hard objective, but it's listed as two hard objectives?

Some people have been asking if I'm accepting community input for challenges.

Yea! Sure, why not. Don't post on this thread though, it would be better to PM me on Smogon whenever you feel the need to submit ideas.
